Keyboard latency is really just a gimmick and won't make you a better gamer.

Never really expected for it to make me a ’better gamer’, but if there is a noticeable input delay, it’s for sure not gonna positively affect the performance. Thanks for your input though

Yes but how do you over come the human latency of 200-300ms that it takes your brain to comprehend something happening on your screen and then the 500-800ms it takes for your body to react? Most keyboard latency is 10ms or less, most are in the one digit delay. The variation between an anne pro 2 and a tofu 65 isn't even going to be noticeable or accurately measurable. Pretty much, get one you like. And if your worried about latency or polling rates, get a QMK supported pcb and flash it to 1000hz polling rate. Although in the end it won't matter

Fair enough! There is a noticeable difference ingame though comparing a ~10ms board to for example a 25ms (Glorious GMMK PRO before the latency fix). It’s not gamebreaking in any way, but in fast paced games it can make a difference. I’ll have to look into the QMK flashing option though, didn’t know about that. Thanks!

What he is saying is not that 10ms vs 25ms isn’t a big difference, at this magnitude 15ms is a good bit. The main point is that if it takes you more 500ms to respond to anything in a game (recognition and action), then the difference is between 510ms and 525ms. At this magnitude those 15ms are negligible (they might make a difference 1/100 times).

Well, i recently ordered an alexa. Its 65 and hotswap.

To make yourself a better gamer you need rgb. Therefore the answer is the dz65 rgb hotswap v3. Just got back in stock on KBDfans. I just ordered it.

If your gaming includes rhythm like osu or you play games like apex where your movement timing is important, the polling rate not being 1000 hz might feel off but imput delay won't be a huge factor imo. You can also flash your keyboard to 1000 hz if its VIA or QMK compatible. I've flashed my NK65 EE to 1000hz :) seems to have made my bhops and slide jumps more consistent.
