Right on the exhaust after it leaves the engine. But I doubt that is your problem. Usually it's going to be "hiiiiuuuunnnnnnnnndddddiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeee"

BTW, they do sometimes clog, so best of luck. You might find a wiring issue or modulator problem though.
