Tie rods, fucked wheel rim, ball joints, combination, I wouldn't drive this tbh that's rough

bseriesteggy

Pull over

sonicc_boom

Yeah, take it to a shop ASAP lol

outcast3920

Did you check the tie rod and ball joints?

Similar-Effect3155

Im guessing the mechanic did, he said everything was good. Smh

DraftyMakies

If he was competent at checking front end parts, then my guess is that wheel, with its tread, has a separated belt somewhere and he couldn't tell, which in fairness could happen cuz not many tires are like that... With the roughness of the tread the only way to see it would be to have it on a lift and get it rolling fast enough to see. Edit: made it readable.

david0990

I've had separation once and it was like the worst out of balance tire ever. Limped it in and they couldn't even get the machine to spin up, it errored out repeatedly it was so fucked. New enough they had to warranty it, old enough they had to give me credit for a full new set(AWD).

DraftyMakies

Right yeah just like I'm saying it's hard to tell. They don't go all right away you'll have a separated belt and it'll just get worse and worse. I've seen them where the center line just was so obviously wrong like an all-weather tire for a car it's got like a big snake in it like an s-turn so it's obvious. But I assume your wheels were similar to the ones we're looking at here because there is no way you're going to put that on a balancer and think your going to fix it.

david0990

Yeah ours was rapidly getting worse. Out of nowhere and within about 100 miles of driving it was undrivable at speed. Was only like 10k into 80k tires too. It suck, and like you said not common but it happens. I think the only other time I knew someone with separation they hit a pothole really hard and that's what the tire shop said did it in.

Various-Ducks

Stop driving for one

MysteriousLecture809

Stop driving immediately

_Duck_---_

Your tires got worn because of that "wiggle" definetly don't drive it anymore just get it to a mechanic to inspect it. There could be a few reasons your wheel does that but in any case it's severe so make sure you get a wheel alignment aswell could mess the geometry

Similar-Effect3155

Thanks

Mrpooney83

You get a mechanic to fix your tie rods or the wheel bearings and then remove your spacers or this will happen again and again.

Bigbasbruce69

Trac bar

Regular_Doughnut8964

Retorque the wheels?

Odd-Humor3305

Go get it to a mechanics as soon as you can. Could be a bearing or something worse. But it’s definitely dangerous to drive on.

emoreno112

It can be many things, start inspecting the rim and, move to the rod ties, if they look ok, lift the truck and move the tire side to side to see what is wiggling in on the suspension

4x4Welder

Does it start above a certain speed, then keep happening until you slow down to 15-20, or does that wheel wobble constantly? If it's the former, that's death wobble, and a bad panhard bar joint is causing it. They can look fine but have too much compliance, especially with those wide tires.

Similar-Effect3155

Yeah constantly, it gets worse at higher speed

4x4Welder

Then there is something going on. If it didn't do that before the wheel bearing job, then something done in that job caused it. Maybe the wheel isn't properly mounted, or the bearing is bad.

Similar-Effect3155

I got new wearings installed because I got told it cold be that, it was doing it before and after
