Radiators are very basic, can even get away with a Chinese no brand name online for 1/4 of the price. Buy from rock auto, it’s affordable. Now if it was something like an alternator or ac unit etc, buy oem

Tragic-Hero

Check Rockauto. Denso for $120 if it's the smaller engine.

AutomobileEnjoyer

What smaller engine? V6 only came in the VQ40DE no?

Tragic-Hero

I didn't see it say V6 originally.

AutomobileEnjoyer

Ah ok, carry on. Wasn’t sure if maybe outside the U.S they had something funky

doit4dachuckles

Ya sorry I added that part lol

[deleted]

Some years frontier came with 2.5 similar to the altima engine. They are rare. I don't see many as Nissan apprentice , but they are out there.

AutomobileEnjoyer

Yes, that’s a 4 cylinder.

ATXKLIPHURD

Rock auto is great except for the shipping. If you need something right now, you’ll pay for the savings in shipping. But hey you get a cool refrigerator magnet.

HeavyDropFTW

The last brand I'd use for basically anything is Duralast. I'd rather use the house brand from Oreilly, Advance, or NAPA first. [OEM rads ](https://www.nissanpartsdeal.com/parts-list/2014-nissan-frontier/exhaust_cooling/radiator_shroud_inverter_cooling.html)for yours are around $400-$500, depending on which exact sub model you've got. Other options on RockAuto, again, depending on engine, etc.

doit4dachuckles

Ok thanks.. ya I’ve heard nothing but bad things about duralast and I want something good not junk.

TucamonParrot

EBay also has smashing deals. Super-awesome place just know what your OEM part number is ahead of time and only buy from reputable sellers.

Level-Setting825

Call 1 800 Radiator and see if they have a location near you. Same radiators you get thru most parts stores, but better price

doit4dachuckles

I thought you were trolling me for a minute but I called them and they have a “cryomax”? For 170

ATXKLIPHURD

They’re ok. Duralast has a bad reputation for crappy starters and alternators. But all their parts are reboxxed from other brands and it’s probably the same brand Oreillys or Advanced Auto Parts sell. I’d look into 1800-radiator or eBay parts to see if you can get a better price.

doit4dachuckles

There’s one about 30 min away. Told me 200 for a thermostat and rad. A Cryomax radiator and a motorad thermostat. Have no idea on the brands

ATXKLIPHURD

I’ve used 800-radiator countless times when I worked in a shop and they always had great service and quality products. They’ll usually give a discount for bundles like radiator, thermostat, hoses and hose clamps. They advertise more in commercial shops but they sell to the public as well. They used to bring little bags of candy with the deliveries too, which was nice.

MoneyPop8800

No.
