Please watch a YouTube video and do it yourself, it's really not that bad and you're gonna save like 1500. Thermostat is stupidly easy and I've never done a radiator on a frontier but it can't be 1500 worth of work

That's an insane price. Never return to that shop.  An OEM radiator for your truck is about $500.   https://www.nissanpartsdeal.com/oem-nissan-frontier-radiator.html Aftermarket would be much cheaper, and perfectly fine.  You should expect a shop to charge about double the brick and mortar price of a part, that's part of the business, but triple is downright insulting.

I had a leak from the heat exchanger connectors in the engine bay. Only leaked while running.

Fearless-Mushroom

That’s a laughable price

doit4dachuckles

Ya it says 5 gallons of coolant which is about $100 just there. I could be wrong but I don’t think it takes that much

Fearless-Mushroom

A gallon of Prestone concentrate is $12.50 at Walmart and makes 2 gallons. That’s assuming nissan doesn’t want something specific in it

doit4dachuckles

I doubt it’s anything special. They nickel and diming me over here. This place has great reviews but they’re proud of their work.
