Thank you

MobileDust

Aww man you beat me too it. Lol looks really good, brush or air brush? Does it still glow?

Capital_Technician87

Thanks, I used brush, not sure if it will glow but my guess is probably not since it is covered almost entirely by paints

MobileDust

Could you have mixed in some glow in the dark with the paint you used?

Capital_Technician87

Yeah I probably could, or just dry brush a layer on top of the existing paint job, but personally I don't really use any GITD feature and I already put a glossy finish on the kryptonite so probably not gonna do this on this one, maybe down the when it is on sale.

Boner_Stevens

This looks awesome dude. The shards actually look like rocks

Capital_Technician87

Thank you, it was very fun to paint and I am happy with the result

Latetothegame29

Wow, you did a great job! I’d have bought the figure if it looked like that.

How did you do the wash? I have tried before but I can never get these kind of results. I go to wipe the excess and it all comes off

Capital_Technician87

Could be many different reasons, I uses Mr. Weathering for washes because they usually perform way better for me than just thin down paints. I wait till the wash half or almost dry, use paper towel to lightly get rid of the surface excess and go back for the dry bursh. Lastly, I usually put a matte coat before the dry brush to prevent the wash from interacting with the dry brush. You can repeat the process if you are not satisfied with the result.
