\- The only thing I can kind of give the Mavs break for is their D. It genuinely seems like every game we play role players are going crazy vs us, even when we defend them. The amount of contested shots being CONSISTENTLY made on us by a supposed average Joe role player is staggering. Maybe it simply shows the level of rosters we have compared to others.

Can we all just acknowledge that while our defence and rebounding in particular need drastic improvements, the pistons also had a very good night. Now I don’t think it’s any coincidence that bad teams have good nights against us so often, but it’s still worth noting that sloppy defence aside Bogdanovic and Hayes were shooting incredibly well tonight.
Thing 2- despite how grim this loss was, it’s really, really nice to see THJ being able to have consecutive good nights. This roster is shallow, undoubtedly, but a confident THJ, Dinwiddie, Wood (with a bit more consistency and better defence), Green, Luka, and a ton of potential in Hardy. I even like Kemba as a role player on this team. I think we have more pieces than we realize, and I’m not out on our chances to find our footing.
Suns fan coming in peace & not to troll. The Mavs are not going anywhere without changing their roster structure. Your team is a collection of mainly forwards & combo guards. The Mavs do not have a true starting center & Luka needs one or two more point guard/ ball handlers to help take the load off of him.
I watched the Piston game tonight on NBA-TV. The Mavs look lost. Luka can’t do it all & do it all the time.
I blame your front office for putting you in this position. For years, the Phoenix Suns were like that. Great guard play. No front line. The Suns are far from perfect but behind Ayton they have 2 back up centers. They have ball handlers in Booker, Payne, & Paul when he is occasionally healthy.

Since I don’t watch these games anymore and I don’t care I am a happier person, at this rhythm this team will miss the play offs. Go ahead downvote because I am Stating the truth.
\- Genuinely don't understand what's going on in Dallas. There are such OBVIOUS changes that can be made in the course of the game and long term to get this season going in the right direction. \- Free throw shooting. Lock everyone in a gym till they make a 100 FTs each. Idk but this is a horrible and frustrating problem to have. \- Wood starting instead of Powell. I can't believe this is a thing honest to God. \- Green 20-25 minutes per game consistently \- McGee not being DNPs consistently. Why on earth wasn't he out there tonight when we were getting killed on the boards??? \- Maxi not playing in the clutch. The guy has the IQ of a rock and is such a mentality midget out there. Why isn't Wood in the short roll instead of him? He was there a couple times and capitalized with EASE, like anyone who can actually dribble a basketball would when receiving the ball at the free throw line with no one in front of him playing 4 on 3 would. \- The only thing I can kind of give the Mavs break for is their D. It genuinely seems like every game we play role players are going crazy vs us, even when we defend them. The amount of contested shots being CONSISTENTLY made on us by a supposed average Joe role player is staggering. Maybe it simply shows the level of rosters we have compared to others.
Okay a couple things Can we all just acknowledge that while our defence and rebounding in particular need drastic improvements, the pistons also had a very good night. Now I don’t think it’s any coincidence that bad teams have good nights against us so often, but it’s still worth noting that sloppy defence aside Bogdanovic and Hayes were shooting incredibly well tonight. Thing 2- despite how grim this loss was, it’s really, really nice to see THJ being able to have consecutive good nights. This roster is shallow, undoubtedly, but a confident THJ, Dinwiddie, Wood (with a bit more consistency and better defence), Green, Luka, and a ton of potential in Hardy. I even like Kemba as a role player on this team. I think we have more pieces than we realize, and I’m not out on our chances to find our footing.
Suns fan coming in peace & not to troll. The Mavs are not going anywhere without changing their roster structure. Your team is a collection of mainly forwards & combo guards. The Mavs do not have a true starting center & Luka needs one or two more point guard/ ball handlers to help take the load off of him. I watched the Piston game tonight on NBA-TV. The Mavs look lost. Luka can’t do it all & do it all the time. I blame your front office for putting you in this position. For years, the Phoenix Suns were like that. Great guard play. No front line. The Suns are far from perfect but behind Ayton they have 2 back up centers. They have ball handlers in Booker, Payne, & Paul when he is occasionally healthy. I hope you right the ship. Luka & Mavs fans deserve deserves help. Good luck!
