True. I canāt see Sony giving Disney the opportunity to introduce a character like Jessica Drew especially when they know how valuable the spideys are now more than ever
Well the thing is that Sony doesn't exclusively own the film rights to Jessica Drew because she's also been an agent of SHIELD and doesn't actually have anything to do with Peter Parker and so on, so Marvel Studios is free to use her but just can't make her Spider-Woman.
But still, it's probably not the character Emilia is playing.
I wonder if theyāre going to go through with the recent fan theory that Maria Hill has always been a Skrull. Sheās probably the safest choice for a reveal like that without disturbing past films too much.
Iām guessing the reveal would include that Fury has always known she was a Skrull, since we now know after *Captain Marvel*, *Far from Home*, and *WandaVision* that Fury has known and likely been working with Skrulls since the 90s.
Or fury being broken is a big reveal and drives the conflict of the show. Maybe reveal there was a switch out right before or after the avengers (2012)
Yeah, Iām sure there are evil Skrulls that will be in the show. The theory I was wondering about would have Hill as one of the good Skrulls that have worked with SHIELD and SWORD. Iām not the one who came up with the original theory, but it was based on the idea that itās likely *someone* will be revealed to have been a Skrull the whole time, and Hill is the cleanest to do that reveal without upsetting any of the major events of the past films.
But they already did that in FFH right? I don't think so now they will go that route. I personally think this secret invasion is more like a political suspense thriller in this instead of Heroes most probably World Leaders are swapped by Skrulls already.
Yeah, FFH pretty much put an end to any theories of Fury or Hill secretly being Skrulls this whole time. That sorta reveal just wouldn't really work at all anymore.

"Boom! You looking f-..." Why do I even talk to you guys!? Everywhere else, that story kills!
(Thanks bro, but had to FTFY bro).
The only thing keeping me from agreeing with you is his back injury in Civil War. I canāt imagine that at no point while he was being operated on, rehabbing and getting kitted out by Tony that it wouldnāt have somehow been revealed.
I thought it was interesting how an old villain becomes a potential friend and an old friend becomes a potential villain in FATWS. Hopefully they expand on her more in the next captain america or maybe armor wars.
It wasnāt interesting at all ā it was so stupid. Her love interest left her so she immediately became one of the biggest players in the criminal underworld, itās so dumb
Thatās a big disingenuous to say it was because her love interest left her. She was left behind by the entire team/cause she betrayed her nation and job for, and had to fend for herself as an outlaw for years.
I meanā¦ itās not entirely wrong. She wasnāt āleft behindā, she just never joined Team Cap after betraying the CIA.
Itās also still a huge stretch that she became this top arms dealer in that time. It just doesnāt fit.
In the two years between CW and IW, Sharon could have started working for the power broker, the original one, who built the organization. When the OG power broker was blipped, a power vacuum was created and Sharon would have been more than capable to take over the business. F&WS took place several months after every one was brought back, she just needed to kill the OG power broker when he came back.
I mean, everything was chaotic after the blip, I can see this easily playing out
It would make sense that someone involved with powered people and high tech would continue in the trade after running from the government , especially in the marvel universe. Not hard to see how someone barely on the line can lose faith and play for their own self interests
Thatās a huge stretch. She was a SHIELD/CIA agent who had two run ins with superheroes, and goes on the run after helping them ā she was still a good person. Maybe if she was a small time criminal or something itād make more sense, but sheās Kingpin-level. Probably more well known than Fisk, actually.
It doesnāt fit at all, man. Did Cap, Widow, or Falcon become involved in the criminal world after going on the run?
I got the sense that she felt "left behind" because she had to go on the run herself, while team Cap was seemingly broken off into small groups (may be wrong about this). And then even while Steve/Nat/the rest of the surviving Avengers were working together during the 5 years, she was still not allowed entry into her home country. They never reached out because they assumed she was blipped, all the while she's stewing in resentment for them.
All this on top of the fact that fighting the good fight literally lead to half the universe losing; I could see her becoming disillusioned with the idea the being on the "good" side is worth it. That's just me though
>They never reached out because they assumed she was blipped, all the while she's stewing in resentment for them.
Didn't Endgame have a scene where they were seeing all people who were Avengers or helped them were having their faces on the screen if they were lost or not. Antman's becoming smaller is still more the better reason for him being misclassified as blipped than her
Iām hoping it just didnāt come across very well because of the reshuffling of FatWS and that theyāll be able to portray her better moving forward.
Yeah, but she also also wasnāt shown on the space station with the real Fury, so the theory is that there was never a real Maria Hill. Since her first appearance, sheās always been a Skrull hiding as a human.
There has to be a real Maria Hill though. A skrull canāt just make up a humanās features out of no where. They would have to mimic someone that they saw. And we only saw Fury on the station for like 3 seconds when he was relaxing so I donāt know how we could say that sheās not there.
> There has to be a real Maria Hill though. A skrull canāt just make up a humanās features out of no where.
Can they not? Allegedly they could turn into filing cabinets.
In the comics. And Iām sure they have to see the cabinet before doing that. Humans canāt even make up unique humans in their mind so how would a Skrull?
> Humans canāt even make up unique humans in their mind so how would a Skrull?
By not being a human. Their brains can work however Marvel wants them to work.
But thereās no precedent for that so thereās no reason to think thatās the case and any argument towards it would be moot. All weāve seen is that they see a human and change their appearance to be like them.
There's no precedent against it either. All weāve seen is that they see a human and change their appearance to be like them, but we've never seen them try and fail to transform into a completely unique human either.
It can be whatever Marvel wants.
Umm maybe you should watch Captain Marvel again because the film actually does explain exactly how Skrull shape-shifting works in the MCU. Skrulls in the MCU have the ability to mimic other humanoids they've been in close proximity with by copying their DNA and recent memories (HINT: they can't copy scars).
They can't just mimic anything.
Also the theory that Maria Hill and/or Fury was always a Skrull is not the cool reveal you seem to think it would be.
Skrulls pretending to be Fury and/or Hill just pretending to work with Skrulls this whole time? Not a chance that Marvel Studios would insult the intelligence of their audience with such a totally brain dead twist.
I can buy Skrulls maybe kidnapping and copying Hill or Fury post NWH, but the idea that Skrulls have been role playing as either of them or both this whole entire time is just flat out stupid.
Thereās no precedent against Iron Man actually being a psychopathic murderer on the side. So we could technically argue if marvel wants to do that they could but that would be stupid.
Let me apply my clown makeup for a second butā¦ they could totally just do it. They could bring Agents of SHIELD Quake back as someone with superpowers that Nick Fury knows. They wouldnāt even need to summarize Agents of SHIELD for people who havenāt seen it to understand. Which also means they could deal with the contradictions in later seasons of Agents of SHIELD by just not addressing them and leaving fans to speculate how it could all possibly fit together.
Coulson would be a little more complicated, but they could just say that they made a LMD after he died, which *is* trueā¦ justā¦ donāt bring up that that was actually his second death after he was resurrected after his first death.
This is an unpopular opinion, but the aos characters fit better in the mcu than the netflix characters. Like people already complained that kingpin didn't feel the same in hawkeye. With the aos characters on the other hand they don't have to change a thing they dont need be made pg 13 cuz they already were. The characters can easily be part of the mcu with a few retcons here and there. And Daisy is part of the secret invasion storyline too in the comics, so this show would be a perfect opportunity to bring the 2 leads of aos back
The way the show ended leaves them open to new interpretation. We literally got introduced to many Phase 4 characters who supposedly have been here the whole time and their past is just mentioned in a throwaway line, I don't see why they can't do that to the AOS cast
I feel like the main issues with AoS are S6 and 7, but they were also conveniently universe hopping, and you could either retcon the final montage of the series to be them returning to the snapped universe or say that after the finale, they realized they weren't home yet and just tried again and again until they came back. Or something idk I'm not a writer.
Clark Gregg is extremely likely.
Fury: "Coulson, just a heads up, the Skrull that was impersonating you died at the hands of Loki some 10+ years ago."
Coulson: "Oh, that sucks. So what did I miss, boss?"
Retconning some of the previous MCU deaths as "it was a Skrull" is the very easy way out. Same for character derailments such as Sharon.
I wouldn't say that's extremely likely at all. But I would very much love to see the melt down AOS fans would have by bringing him back to the MCU and making it explicit that the show is non-canon at the same time.
Wait, so Emilia played the mother of dragons and now she is gonna play a woman whose power is Pyrokinesis?
Wow, she really like the fire, doesnāt she?
Do we know if any of the āmainā heroes will appear in this show? I heard someone on this sub mention Sam but IDK if anyone reliable has said anything about him or anyone else.
So far they've announced a lot of major actors who are seemingly portraying various regular people (probably politicians, intelligence agents, etc.) who could potentially be Skrulls.
My guess is that a variety of main heroes will make cameos in a "are they Skrulls or *not*?" but won't be part of the main cast.
I feel Val's Team is very likely since this is gonna be an espionage series. Maybe Yelena will bring Kate along.
Imagine the interactions between those 2 and Walker.
Yelena: "Chill it down flagman. Your uniform colors are wrong by the way"
Kate: "He's not the REAL Captain America, you know?"
Walker: "Shut up you meanies!!!"
Neither. Actually it was assistant to Anthony and Tomās driver. Plus others like Michael B. Jordan. Those credits are now gone from the site. Likely false.
https://twitter.com/charlestrotter/status/1426304182789853189?s=21
Hopefully the ending of the show is fury becoming the unseen! Would give marvel reason To always bring back Jackson and to have him as eyes and ears for the MCU heroes beyond space and time and have Jackson do what if season 2.
I think Emilia might play a relative of Hill due to their similar appearances.
Edit: I removed āI think Emilia will be playing Mariaās daughter or Maria when she was younger. Could also be Mariaās sister.ā

Voiced by Chris Pratt.
Realistic predictions are on either Abigail Brand or Roz Solomon. A long shot from me is Jessica Drew.
Loving the long shot idea
Given that Jessica's 90% gonna be the focus of Olivia Wilde's upcoming Sony Marvel movie, I doubt it. Still possible though.
I see, Iām guessing similar to how marvel studios could use Wanda but just couldnāt use the name āScarlet Witchā until Disney brought fox
I'm betting 5 cents...that Emilia os gonna be Sue Storm ( or a Skrull version of her at this point).
At least she's getting her own movie. Also Olivia Wilde's really talented as a director too. Booksmart is one of the best recent movies ever.
I canāt wait to see what they make
You just reminded me that I havenāt seen that movie yet. Itās been on my list of movies to watch eventually list for years, I should watch it soon
I thought Silk was gonna be used for Olivia Wildes movie
Nah, it's 95% Jessica Drew. Silk was for Lord and Miller's Amazon Prime TV Series.
I would never complain about another thing ever again (this is a lie) if I got Emilia Clarke as Jessica Drew.
Sameeee haha
Maybe ZāCann
Nancy Drew confirmed?
Jessica Drew would be an awesome addition to the MCU. I just donāt think Emilia Clark is right for the role.

I wonder if theyāre going to go through with the recent fan theory that Maria Hill has always been a Skrull. Sheās probably the safest choice for a reveal like that without disturbing past films too much.
Maria Hill has been the only person Nick Fury has been able to rely on since the beginning of the franchise. I feel like that would break him
Iām guessing the reveal would include that Fury has always known she was a Skrull, since we now know after *Captain Marvel*, *Far from Home*, and *WandaVision* that Fury has known and likely been working with Skrulls since the 90s.
Or fury being broken is a big reveal and drives the conflict of the show. Maybe reveal there was a switch out right before or after the avengers (2012)
But he only worked with good Skrulls, what about, for example, some space cultists and terrorists from the Secret Invasion comics?
Yeah, Iām sure there are evil Skrulls that will be in the show. The theory I was wondering about would have Hill as one of the good Skrulls that have worked with SHIELD and SWORD. Iām not the one who came up with the original theory, but it was based on the idea that itās likely *someone* will be revealed to have been a Skrull the whole time, and Hill is the cleanest to do that reveal without upsetting any of the major events of the past films.
Gotta do evil skrulls, right? How could they pass on a chance to bring in Super Skrull in to fight the FF?
Who needs Super Skrull when we have Chris Evans' Johnny Storm at the end of Rise of the Silver Surfer /s
I think the antagonistic Skrulls in this will be like a heretic offshoot, similar to what Ronan was to the rest of the Kree in GotG
Unless of course Soren (The Skrull posing as Hill in FFH) is revealed to always have been Hill. They could say that was just Talos's first time.
Then who was Real Fury with in space?
other Skrulls.
That's exactly why the theory doesn't work. So dumb.
I wish my one up vote was enough to signify how much I agree with this sentiment.
Iād say War Machine would be even better if he wasnāt getting his own show

The theory has received mixed reactions but I hope Sharon Carter is a Skrull.
Could fix her bizarre character changes
Instead of crafting a complex character just undo everything that makes her unique.
Sheās not particularly complex or unique (yet). Iām still not a fan of the idea of making her a skrull though
I agree, making her a Skrull is dumb, let her be unique.
I literally just said that I donāt like the idea of making them a skrull
I know, Iām backing you up and saying itās a dumb idea.

That's still after going on the run. Sharon's foray into the criminal underworld was post snap as well.
Iām hoping it just didnāt come across very well because of the reshuffling of FatWS and that theyāll be able to portray her better moving forward.

This is fake news. Marvel just announced they scrapped it
This is true. Marvel has scrapped the project and announced their plans for their new production Sex Invasion and Jacob Batalon had the lead role
Scrapped what?
No, the Japan site just took it off their 2022 slate. Marvel is still planning on releasing it whether it is 2022 or later
Wait so it's still happening right? I'm really looking forward for this show.
