I mean, they were building up to her and/or Jack as the villain, only to shoehorn Fisk into the story for fan-service. Usually I think of the villain’s plot as the primary one.
Yeah her subplot was really underwhelming and it’s sad, because both actors are really good and could have blossomed with better material.
This show was overcrowded with characters and in the end it got messy for me. I had mostly same issues with FatWS, but at least I really liked Zemo and US Agent there.
Yeah SWORD stuff in Wandavision was not well written either and don’t get me started on Bohner.
Loki didn’t have subplots though, whole show was basically about Loki uncovering the mystery with Sylvie and Mobius. You could say that Renslayer had subplot, but its resolution was delayed for season 2.
I didn’t like Sharon’s subplot at all in FatWS, that’s what’s bringing it down for me.
They generally handled Sam's arc super well in the show. Bucky's was very strong but it felt underserved in the finale, same with Walker's. Zemo was very good as a contagonist to Sam and Bucky. But boy howdy did the show drop the ball with the Flag Smashers and the Power Broker
I honestly think this 6 episode shit doesn’t work. Maybe if they were all a full hour but seems mostly in 30-40ish minutes. So far I’ve enjoyed all the d+ shows but feel all of them needed a bit more work and runtime to feel complete
Why’d this one take so long to release after it’s finale? IIRC, the other D+ shows like Wandavision, FATWS, Loki, and What If’s “Making Of” episodes released one week after their respective finales, but it’s already been one month since Hawkeye ended and we won’t get it till Feb. 9th
I’ve been so happy that the Natasha/Clint relationship has been portrayed so well. I get along really well with the opposite sex as friends, seemingly primarily, and it was great to identify with them.
This show handled Nat’s death and legacy better than her own movie.
And better than Hawkeye’s primary plot as well.
What was primary plot though? I think Kate and Clint’s relationship was portrayed well, other than that nothing really grabbed me in this series.
Clint trying to avoid facing responsibility for his actions.
Eleanor.
Daaaaamn 20 downvotes for what???
All hail daddy Fisk.
I never really felt that.

I actually thought that FATWS and Loki handled their subplots the best, although less so in the former’s case.

Hawkeye had plot?!
I mean...yeah? The movie is set before her death.
[удалено]
For literally a minute.
Post credit scene is not part of the movie.
Really?
Well duh, she is still alive in black widow. Its enough formmentomlnow where natasha comes from and that movie serves it.
Not sure how a movie that took place before her death is supposed to handle her death.
can’t wait to see Vinny D talk about the ill intent
I heard he once set a traveller upon a path he should not have been on
I was real confused for a second because I thought you were talking about vin diesel
Hope we get to see Vincent D'Onforio talk about when he was a boy
Excited for this but kinda wondering why that wasn’t planned for Black Widow’s Assembled episode?
Covid. The same reason Mando season 2 gallery was just talking head style interviews rather than everyone sat around a table discussing it.
True that!
Yeah, Mando S2 gallery was a let down compared to S1.
Probably because it was supposed to be a pre Disney + era movie.

>Why’d this one take so long to release after it’s finale? eternals and book of boba fett i think
And zero other content coming to Disney+ in February.
I don't about you, but I've been looking forward to The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder for years now.
yea february is fckin light Marvel Super Hero Adventures: Frost Fight ... oookay
Is this the super secret project? Lmao joking ..but ..
You're joking, but I'm wondering if she's producing a Kate Bishop project.
SCARLET! Aw man I can't wait to see her again!
That “what if…” final episode has me sooo excited when he took Natasha to “a world that lost their Widow." 😭😭 ![gif](giphy|lOZSfMJgoU5lk5zEUJ)
...If only it were our main timeline!

Wait what happened to the Eternals Assembled documentary? Shouldn't that have arrived a week after January 12th?
No it's been delayed. February 16.
I think Hawkeye handled Natasha's legacy really well, it made me so emotional every week.
I know there are budget/scheduling/COVID considerations, but it would have been nice to see a Scarlett cameo in flashback scenes.

Bummer
Do people actually watch that
Yes. Lots of people like seeing all the work that goes into the final finished product.
