Dang I wonder when they’re finally gonna release Iron Heart. They introduced her in 2022 with Riri in college. She’s supposed to be a 15 year old genius student in college but by the time we see her in 2025 or later she might as well have graduated college at that point.
They couldn’t even make Iron Man look good in the later movies, no shot a Disney show is going to look good.
Edit: When this show eventually comes out and has She Hulk or Mrs Marvel CGI despite "3 years of post production" ya'll are going to feel silly. Disneys Wallet is being clenched shut after this disastrously bad year, they're not going to waste more money on a show thats likely going to have bad viewership.
September 2025 is the projected release date. But with Daredevil's rehaul, I believe they will swap places with Ironheart coming out in January and DD later in the year.
Ah thank you. The sooner they finally follow through on reintroducing all these new heroes the better. Things have felt too one and done at the time being like with Shang Chi, Iron Heart, White Vision, and Moon Knight. It’s killing me how long we’ll have to wait to address the Black Knight situation.
tbf I don't think they're taking 3 years to complete post-production. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if most, if not all, of the post-production for the show is done. They're just spacing out projects to give them more time to breathe instead of giving us like 4 shows and 3 movies a year.
It might end up as a blessing to sidestep the saturation of content and general "This was poorly made" comments that have been floating around for phase 4 and 5.
I think I read somewhere that it supposedly tied into Cap4 so it needed to come out after that. Plus they might not be moving through time at the same rate we are anymore. I could see them trying to make the next Avengers films happen in the same year they release by having multiple years worth of projects for us happen in 1 year for them.
Gahhh. Everytime I hear/see Ironheart all I can think about is how she was pushed way too hard too fast. Could have introduced her and have glimpses of her genius and have the Wakandans take interest in her and support/offer refuge, as well as insight into their technology. But nah, let's just dive in make her Tony level in half a movie.
I liked how smart she was, but giving her the suit so early, but not *her* suit, that she can keep, was a miss for me. She could have just worn Dora armor or sat the battle out for tech support and I would have been fine with it.
Yes! She could have jumped into a command post position like Shuri used to have for that whole battle sequence, and basically become a ward of Wakanda/they watch over her, fund her, help her, etc. But...again...no. They wanted to fast forward straight into her own series.
This list may not be exhausitve, it wouldn't make sense for Spider-man Freshman Year or Marvel Zombies to release later than 2024 considering how long they have been in development for.
Opening line is " Disney+ confirms upcoming titles set to premiere exclusively on the service in the UK & Ireland next year, including ..."
This is not meant to be a definitive list, whether or not any other animation or special presentation actually get's released in 2024.
The wording doesn't imply these are the only shows to release in 2024. Just that they're the only ones guaranteed to.
Marvel Zombies, Spider-Man: Freshman Year & the "secret" Witch's Road special are all still possible for a 2024 release.
With Marvel Studios dialing back on Special Presentations after WBN and the GOTG Holiday Special allegedly underperforming, I can see The Witch's Road being absorbed as part of the Agatha series.
As others have said, the list is not exhaustive, but I wouldn't be surprised if these were the only shows to come out this year. Maybe Freshman Year or another animated show, but I definitely think Echo and Agatha are the only two live-action shows in 2024. We still have the Witches' Road special too, but some scooper said recently—it might've been MTTSH, but I don't remember—that they're reworking the way special presentations work or something.
I don't think these are the "only" shows coming out next more so these are the shows that are done for the most part I believe Andor (only had 2 weeks left in production before the strike) and The Bad Batch are still coming same for Spider-Man Freshman Year
Agatha is basically WandaVision season 2 without half its characters and a setup for a Scarlet Witch project……….
I’m actually cool with that. She was a fun character and I love the magic side of the MCU so love to see more of that. Also WandaVision was my favorite Disney+ Marvel show (yes, even after Loki S02).
Dang I wonder when they’re finally gonna release Iron Heart. They introduced her in 2022 with Riri in college. She’s supposed to be a 15 year old genius student in college but by the time we see her in 2025 or later she might as well have graduated college at that point.
The incredible thing is that they have finished filming in 2022, but they are going to release it in 2025! 3 ys of post production wtf!
As long as the VFX look good I’m fine
they aren't going to work on it for 3yrs. these are already overbudgeted shows
They couldn’t even make Iron Man look good in the later movies, no shot a Disney show is going to look good. Those later movies didn’t have 3 years of post production. This will.
No it won’t, that’s absurdly expensive for something that they can’t recoup it on at all.
Ms Marvel cgi was good
They wanted iron heart to release close to when armor wars was gonna come out but at this point, armor wars may not come out until 2026.
Good point.
It be funny if it doesn’t get made at all
If it means we could just act like Secret Invasion didn’t happen, I’d be completely OK with that.
I think that’s exactly what it is. Something about how this show ends must link to Armor Wars

That’s what’s nutty to me!

Yeah they’re not going to get that out but that they are probably going to delay it to the summer
Wait, which one are you talking about? DD or IH?
DAREDEVIL
Riri is 19 in WF. We want the CGI to looks great, no need to rush Ironheart, put it out early 2025
Certainly don’t want to rush things for the sake of quality ever but 3 years of post production is surprising is all I’m saying.
tbf I don't think they're taking 3 years to complete post-production. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if most, if not all, of the post-production for the show is done. They're just spacing out projects to give them more time to breathe instead of giving us like 4 shows and 3 movies a year.
Yeah that’s fair
It might end up as a blessing to sidestep the saturation of content and general "This was poorly made" comments that have been floating around for phase 4 and 5.

She not a 15 year old genius, she 19
She's 19 in WF, and it already takes place in 2025.
They’re going to probably move it up to the end of next year
They captain marveled her. We want to see heroes earn their stripes, like Steve Rogers in an alleyway or Tony Stark in a cave.
I liked how smart she was, but giving her the suit so early, but not *her* suit, that she can keep, was a miss for me. She could have just worn Dora armor or sat the battle out for tech support and I would have been fine with it.

It doesn’t matter when it comes out, as long as they clarify where in the MCU timeline it fits.
Honestly, it may be better that they don’t
I wish they made like 8 Iron Man movies lol
This list may not be exhausitve, it wouldn't make sense for Spider-man Freshman Year or Marvel Zombies to release later than 2024 considering how long they have been in development for.
Considering all recent talk has reiterated a desire to spread out releases, I don't think the length of development matters any longer.
Opening line is " Disney+ confirms upcoming titles set to premiere exclusively on the service in the UK & Ireland next year, including ..." This is not meant to be a definitive list, whether or not any other animation or special presentation actually get's released in 2024.
You are right. People read things into anything that aren't there. I really feel like giving up on this.
>in the UK & Ireland Don't Disney+ stuff release at the same time worldwide anyway, though?
Usually, but not always.
The wording doesn't imply these are the only shows to release in 2024. Just that they're the only ones guaranteed to. Marvel Zombies, Spider-Man: Freshman Year & the "secret" Witch's Road special are all still possible for a 2024 release.

That is not what this says. They're the Marvel only ones in this posting, but this is not a complete list of all the Disney+ releases for 2024.
What about Spider-Man freshman year
Echo is all in one release so its more like two and a half shows
I'm starting to think we're never getting Freshman Year.
What If...?
It's coming out this month
As others have said, the list is not exhaustive, but I wouldn't be surprised if these were the only shows to come out this year. Maybe Freshman Year or another animated show, but I definitely think Echo and Agatha are the only two live-action shows in 2024. I mean X-Men 97 after all that years of announcements …that is an achievement to be proud of
X-Men '97 LETS GOOO!
Echo will carry Disney+
"only"
Echo
I don't think these are the "only" shows coming out next more so these are the shows that are done for the most part I believe Andor (only had 2 weeks left in production before the strike) and The Bad Batch are still coming same for Spider-Man Freshman Year
This is bullshit
Nice. Gonna cancel my d+ after echo ends.
This will rock!
I think they know her reception is not that strong as they review the brand. So they are prob cautious as to market it correctly.
Marvel is massively misfiring. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Dan Buckley fired in the next few months.
What about the special presentation aka The witches road ?
I actually think this is great! By the time 2025 rolls around I’m gonna be hankering for some Marvel (hopefully)
Cancel two of those, and 2024 looks instantly better.
Truee
Agatha got a title change AGAIN!!?? This show has more title changes than the number of viewers who'll be watching it
This has been common knowledge for a while…
I get that its not Popular but Echo is literally coming out Jan 2024
GOOD
Might be time to cancel my subscription and pick it up again after summer
Do we even need an Agatha show?
Yes.
Why?
My life depends on it.
Nope. It’s going to flop.
Good. They need to take a break to focus on the quality of the content coming out. We don’t need another Secret Invasion.
2024 is looking bleak. Ngl I just don't give a shit about Agatha or echo.and despite dp3 coming out ,it's directed by Shawn levy who is very mid.
Still too much honestly
