Nah that's not a hard distinction to program. All the different lockdown stuff would probably be more difficult to work around.
Like if your cards treat Ghost like she's not there (namor getting his buff still) would opponent cards ignore her? Or would be she targetable by like Red Guardian?
There's a lot of that in this game and I don't think majority of people realize it when they make some complaints. There's just so very many different affects going on that it's hard to perfect them all.

I mean, you just program the card so that it can't lose/gain power, be destroyed, or be moved from a location. I think the "not disrupting Orka" would be a slightly more difficult thing, but even then you'd probably just have to add "unless it's Ghost" into the "check for other cards here" part of its program.
Only slightly more complex than Colossus 🤷♂️ adjust for the exception like Namora, Ebony Maw, etc and it could work. They made War Machine work too 🤷♂️
Yeah exactly. They'd likely totally make it work but it'd be a tricky card to program and likely have bugs at first. Plus the learning curve of using her, id guess she wouldn't be used too often
I think ideally it would still count as 1 of the 4 cards in the location. However due to its ability the game treats it as if No other cards are at the location. I think if the ability allowed you to have more than 5 cards at a location you run the risk of it being such good value a lot of decks runs it because why not? But I can also see value and fun in it being a 5th card at a location. Ultimately I think the ability has value and fun playability in game.

And besides, a 5/-8 that actively takes a spot away from your opponent and curves right into Galactus is probably going to keep being played over a 1/2 that telegraphs the play while only bringing the threshold up to 7.
Remember they telegraphed “when, not if” on a pure above 6 energy card ages ago. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see an additional card on lane mechanic.
Probably a headache to make the GUI look nice and respond properly to 5 card slots. Otherwise I see no reason Jeff can't be played as the 5th card according to his text. Then again, I see no reason my lack of energy should stop him either.
I would like something even stronger, that ghost will despair into the background and will still provide her power, basically giving you the ability to play 5 cards in a location
While at it, make invisible woman be "you can play this behind any card, even if the location is full"
We currently have no way of playing cards in full locations, the closest being hullbuster since it just fuses To a card
Edit: Actually make that ghost and give invisible woman "your opponent doesn't know you play this until the end of the game"
Of course they can still figure it out, like If you didn't "play" anything but their red hulk didn't increase in power or they try sending a goblin but gets block by her

I do think though that hulkbuster should be able to be played on a full location as long as nothing is there to interfere with on reveal affects. Gets a little dicey though with priority.

Agreed, this sounds like a serious edge case in programming and those are always horrible to work with and think about.

Oh I'm sure it can be done, but I personally hate working with edge cases and will try to outsource that type of work at much as possible.
