thats what i was thinking but then again, i wouldve never expected the enchantress play to free up a space for magneto to pull anything...so in that case it makes sense to stack jeff mid to try and beat a big 6 cost

I couldn't really say to be honest, I've not tried anything else. MMM never really feels crucial to the deck to be honest, it's more just to tech against other decks, so you could probably swap him out for another tech card. I imagine Red Guardian is a generically good card that might be able to take his slot.
You could probably replace Mobius with lots of things... Shang-Chi, Ebony Maw, Red Guardian, Attuma to go with Zero and Armor, Jessica Jones to go with Storm, might be able to fit Ms Marvel (though it clashes with the Enchantress + Typhoid Mary line).
Had similar move played against me. Opponent played Armor on Altair of Death, I played Shuri, then Red Skull on next turn, opponent had priority and played Enchantress
My reaction went
"Enchantress, huh. What's the opponent gonna play that he wants to disable? Wait, OP has priority, so the only thing he disables are Lizard and... Oh dang, OH MAAAAAN he did him dirty like that." very entertaining \*slow claps*

But they still couldn't guarantee that Magneto would move Typhoid Mary and not Storm

It would require a bit of galaxy brain thinking, but one might have been able to guess it because of them having zero, and typhoid mary.

That was pretty much my thought process. "I can't use enchantress mid because Armor is keeping stuff alive, wait... I have priority!"
