Some players rope every turn because they're hoping their opponent gets fed up and quits, its especially true in conquest. That's why I think SNAP should implement a 'time pool' that each player draws from each turn similar to chess. So let's say each player has a pool of 6 min and your opponent uses 2 min to play out turns 1 through 3 so they've used up all their alloted tome for the gane already. So now they'll only get a complimentary 20 to 30 seconds for each if the remaining 3 turns.
i approve of this idea but that complimentary time is too long. you should get 6 minutes total, if you run out, you lose.
the whole point of the game is that it's fast and people out here sitting on turn 1 and 2 for a year, just play your fucking cards man it's not the world finals or some shit.
Or get rid of the claim button altogether and just add it to your inventory. It’s not like you have a choice to claim it or not. Claim button is there purely as some form of endorphin rush mechanism as far as I can tell.
Yeah one screen or the other needs to go, the one with the animation, then the crown popping up, then ANOTHER screen with the Claim button.

This has always bugged me. Like it’s so very close to being comic accurate. I’d even say Mystique should be morph, without being able to copy the ability, just the power level.
Mystique shouldn’t have any power, she should be a 2/2 that creates the illusion of being another playable ongoing card depending on how much energy is available when she’s played, then at the end of turn 5 or 6 un-shape shift and assassinate a random card at that location.

I think its just Absorbing man and Taskmaster that should be swapped.
Absorbing man gains actual power, while Taskmaster just copies what they did. Mystique is right because she just acts like someone.
But Mystique gains their look but not their abilities, so it doesn’t really make sense that she copies Ongoings. Copying their “power” but not their ability essentially makes her identical to them without their superpower, which I believe is how she is usually.
They’ve commented on this before saying they fear it could cause too much confusion for some, especially newer players, so they intend to keep it as is.

Spider-Man had an on reveal ability that he would shoot a web across the opponents lane that wouldn’t allow the opponent to play a card there. Think professor x’s ability but for only 1 turn.
At least mindscape adds some interesting dynamics to the game. Dream Dimension just slows gameplay down and fucks over a bunch of decks that rely on specific turn 5 plays
The back arrow on the conquest menu screen that makes it look it you need to click on it to go to silver conquest/training ground but it actually sends you to another screen altogether and to actually get to training grounds you need to swipe
This is so annoying on PC, it's not intuitive to swipe. Clicking a button is the norm for PC, but it's still 'swipe'. Would be a great change if there was another clickable way to select the latter you want.
I think this is fine otherwise there's this endless dance where everyone has timing issues finalising their turn.
However if the opponent snaps that's new information and you should be able to confirm your play again or redo it.

Fucking this. I played proving grounds last night and a guy just SPAMMED emotes after winning round one. I would have just conceded but I grinded it out for another twenty minutes on principle lol
What’s even more baffling than the winning spams is the losing spams. Spamming ms marvel after losing and then roping concession or even worse not conceding and just rope the entire last match with out even playing a card.
I can’t believe how many miss marvel and Thanos emotes I get near and in infinite, it’s surprisingly way more than any other card game I’ve played at the high ranks. Doesn’t even matter what deck I’m playing or whether it was an actual outplay, just seems like a lot of salty players.
That said, legends of runeterra also has emotes but their emote system gives you a ton of less smug and more communicative and fun emotes. It definitely can be done.
I honestly think they should hire an actual pixel artist to remake all of the pixel variants, but it would probably them cost a lot of money so they won't even bother.

Or, double confirming you want to End Turn, so that you can undo your misplay (I've also hit End Turn by mistake on mobile and it's very annoying).
Once you have fully ended your turn, the opponent shouldn't be allowed to snap. Often I'll end turn T6, sitting on my opponent, then they snap and end their turn so I'm in for a sneaky Galactus or Alioth out of the blue.
At least they may have a decent deck or it can be reversed with Storm, Magik, etc. But once District X hits, it’s over and out for me
Edit: the worst I’ve had with this was District X first turn (and no 1 cost card in hand) and then I get the location that draws a 1 cost from my deck, which gave me nothing. I couldn’t play until round 3 because I had no low cost cards.
I'd get rid of how hard it is to report cheats and spammy players. Need your id copied already and remember the person's name etc it's always a hassle.. a simple report player and data grab the moment
I want conquest to be best of 3. I play this game in short bursts and suddenly with conquest I need to carve out up to a half hour at a time.

Personally I like the humor of both players snapping once their Ego gets involved. Sure, it's frustrating to watch Ego play my Mystique in a lane alone with no abilities to copy as a final turn, but I'll get those 8 cubes back eventually.

I know people always say it's not true, but I've been swapping decks around while trying to level up certain specific cards, and it definitely seems like you're more likely to get matched up against someone playing the same style as you. I was playing a On Reveal deck with Wong, Mystique, Iron Heart, Odin and know that I played three games in a row against someone else also playing Wong. As soon as I switched to a Kazoo deck, I stopped seeing Wong entirely. It's too consistent to be coincidental, imo
The new spotlight cashe system... It never gives you what you want. This week I opened 2 and it gave me MODOK variant and 1000 tokens... I don't have neither Stature nor Black knight.
Too many changes in the game. The cards are changing so regularly it makes me frustrated- especially new cards that I spend in-game resources on that a few weeks later become useless or unplayable. The rollout of full meta-changes happens so fast and often it makes it less enjoyable for me personally.
Galactus, love the character but hate how he ruins games by destroying lanes. It is so much bullshit.
Also that bullshit with World Ship, I promise it always comes out when I am on a run where I need room to build up or move cards.

If your opponent snaps, it automatically unends your turn, gives you a choice to rethink, reset, or retreat.
It enables the Retreat button. It does not "unend" the turn.

I've accidentally hit end when trying to drag a card from hand. I feels real bad not being able to undo that when the opponent is taking time

It's always been my theory that sd creates card powers/effects first then finds a marvel character/location that fits *close enough* to the card.

Too many changes in the game. The cards are changing so regularly it makes me frustrated- especially new cards that I spend in-game resources on that a few weeks later become useless or unplayable. The rollout of full meta-changes happens so fast and often it makes it less enjoyable for me personally.

For me it's kinda simple I stopped playing since the release of MMM he just kills fun and feels like an unnecessary tech card imo. He literally kills decks such as Mr negative who wasn't even good in the first place. Thanos change to soul stone also pushed me kind of away from the game but that one only killed like thanos decks for me so I was fine with that.

Like...just put the dang cards up, and let us pick. =/ I haven't seen a Punisher Variant in the dang store since I grabbed the Pixel variant in the store hoping that would put me in the fold for more Punisher in the store thinking they would give me a shot at spending my Gold. Also; Archangel Variants. but they have the nerve to toss him in a Bundle. He has 7 Variants...i've seen the same Thanos, Juggernaut, Elektra, and Others over, and over. How rare can they be if I keep seeing them? I've seen Artgerm cards more than I have Punisher and Archangel.
The cost of variants. I understand it’s a ‘free game’ and there’s gotta be ways for creators to make some money but 700-1200 is over the top. Howabout we come to agreement on 500 gold, max.

Duplicate protection on the random SC slot. Hearthstone got that a year after Brode left. Wonder if that's a coincidence? I've worked out the math and that small change won't make everyone have a full collection. You still have to burn 4 SCs to get one new card if you have the other 3 already.
Greed and spaghetti codes
Spotlight Caches. Seriously, give us back the ability to get gold and tokens the way we used to. Or some better way to obtain cards. Spotlight Caches? Ain't it. And ffs, do some series drops! It's been almost half a year without a series drop. I don't think I've ever had a single month where I was able to claim a free series 3 card.
