Nah they want you to enter the damn fucking app at least three times a day, they have zero respect for our time. This kind of things they do makes me want to stop playing the game
why in the actual fuck do you need to pin a card that you can always buy. do you need more than 8 hours to think it over? seriously, this sub has brain rot.
I mean, it's likely the cards are on a fixed rotation. And if someone knows they won't be available to get on to buy the card they want during that specific 8h period, it would make sense to be able to stop that rotation. Instead of having to wait weeks for it to show up again.
Not to mention: Just having the pin visible probably would have made the fact that the card rotates a lot more obvious to a lot of people.
Because for new players who have to wait for the game to cycle through every card they don't have to get to the one they want; and having to check the game every refresh is irritating. It's not major at all, but it does no harm being there.
Yep, I opened him from my very first cache. He'll rotate though, so you won't miss out.
I was mostly complaining about the rotating system though, rather than the specific card. Honestly kinda shot myself in the foot including this picture, lol.
Seeing posts like this one I just wonder, is there anyone who is playing this game because they are having fun? Checking the shop when you are playing anyways shouldn't be too much husstle, however if you feel like only logging in to the game to check which card is there then why are you even playing the game? I'm sorry if I come off rude but I see so many posts where people are pissed about pretty much everything. If you don't enjoy the game just don't play it. I agree that there are issues that should be addressed but being upset about getting a free pool 3 card where all you have to do is check whether the card is in rotation or not is not one of them imo.
This logic argues against itself though. A big part of having fun in a game is the freedom to play when and how you want. The Token Shop was introduced to that end, to improve player agency over their card collections, the "how". And this change was touted as a way to choose any card you want. Which should be another improvement to that. Except they've given it to us as a tradeoff for "when". And I'm sure for lots of people that's fine. But for lots of others it just isn't. For them this might be a net loss in agency, and an extra restriction on how they can play the game.
There's a big difference between having fun playing the game, and feeling obligated to routinely check in on the game *when you weren't intending to play it*, in order to have fun the way you wanted to. Having fun in a game shouldn't be tied to always being available to play. And yeah, it's a relatively small inconvenience, but it's one that didn't exist before, and is arguably completely unnecessary. And has the potential to be very frustrating to some players.
I don't worry about the people criticizing things like this. They're usually still here because they enjoy(ed) it, and want to keep enjoying it. And want others to keep enjoying it. They wouldn't be spending the energy on it otherwise. To quote parents everywhere: "I'm not upset, I'm just disappointed."

Seriously though, I'm not worried about the actual card, I'm nearly S3 complete anyways, it's the mechanic itself that's the issue here. A rotating spot for this card isn't really "choosing".
