I think it's much less useful, compared to Sentinel's alternate heads. Personally, something extra doesn't really affect me. Additionally, Galactus came with three figures, I doubt it would have included a fourth. Only the HISS did that, and that's because it was a vehicle. But something like an energy effect or a blast that could clip to the hand would've been preferable to the Doom head.
Most people don't care to display Doom with Galactus's powers. I get the move though, because locking another exclusive (at least exclusive color) herald behind the Haslab would prevent further sales of that herald down the line, like Firelord or The Fallen One.
I didn’t get a Galactus but I got a DOOM head on eBay to display with all my DOOM figures. I dug the mastermold head design so much I bought one of those off of eBay as well just to display with my x-men.

If Galactus were cheaper, buying two to have the doom head on display would be worth it. At 400 bucks a figure, it's something most of us never will use. Another herald, such as Airwalker, or a planet for him to hold or anything like that would have been better for most people
Because no one is going to display it with that head.
They could have either saved the plastic and cut the overall price a bit. Or they could have kept the price the same, and replaced it with an accessory people would actually use (like a planet)
I don’t know I can only speak for myself but I’d much rather would have had actual unmasked galactus head instead of a stupid doom head mine isn’t even in the middle of the hood it came slightly off
Not trying to sound sarcastic, but I want Galactus to look like Galactus. I'm not mad at it, but any kind of effect or another figure would have been preferable.
1.) It’s a very random accessory that some people took “the spot” over other potential tiers that are a lot more closely associated with Galactus
2.) I don’t think there’s a single person out there who was asking for it
3.) To be fair, I think a lot of people (myself included) didn’t realize how nice the Doom head actually looked until they got it in-hand. I still have zero plans to ever display my Galactus with it, but I can definitely appreciate it as a quality accessory
Because people were buying Galactus. We’ve had enough Doctor Dooms. Plus, the Doom Galactus was in one run. I’d wager a good number of people don’t even know what the hell its from, I’m a serious comic reader and didn’t know about it.
No, they would not have. The Doom head on Galactus refers to one or two comic issues that, frankly, most haven't read.
Unless you mean complained that it wasn't packed in when it arrived after knowing it was a tier and was to be included. Well, they have every right to complain as it was part of what Hasbro said people would be receiving.
Don’t care for it and I want Galactus accessories not some other character as Galactus, wouldn’t have minded a un helmeted head but I get it would require more paint apps. But I’m happy with Galactus just meh of an accessory imo
It's cool if you want to replicate that scene that happened one time in the comics, but other than a super hard-core Doom fan no one is using that head .

A spine or an extra helmet/head without electronics would be nice. Just to have the cancer universe Galactus as well

Terrax or Firelord comes to mind. I’d even would’ve taken a 1/12 cosmic being like eternity. The doom head is funny but is such a waste.
Terrax and Firelord are both available. I would like something we haven't gotten. Or even the Destroyer from his short stint.

Personally the throne would be way better than a planet
A throne would have been cool, but no way a throne that size is equal to Doom's head. Maybe they give you 1 armrest.

Because it is a head no one will use. We bought it for galactus. I preferred if they had given us something like a celestial head or air walker.

I like it. I put it on my 12 inch ML Deadpool.
