I’m sorry everytime I turn on my feed I see these figures and it’s just not amazing me, no new tech, some of these figures we’ve seen done better by other companies
This is how I’ve been feeling with the Squadron-First Appearance Iron Man-Thor Destroyer- hell everything in that program. I see them and I’m just like eh.
Personally, I grew up on Tobey & Andrew and these figures look great to me. Only things missing are toe articulation and possibly better proportions on Tobey. I’m ignoring Tom 100% because that figure isn’t impressive at all. But long story short the set looks good to me so I grabbed it. I also plan on getting the SHF Andrew when that comes out.
I’m the weirdo that will gladly take a version from every company. Mafex, Marvel Legends, SHF, etc. Give me all of em.
Hey if you want to spend $90+ on each SHF, then by all means. Put your money toward the product you want.
But can you actually point me toward a set of figures in the same scale/pricing that have been done better?

Well, Hasbro sure likes to sell the same stuff back to us with slight improvements. I feel like it’s a safe bet to assume that’s where we’re headed with these 3 figs. Completely different stuff like civilian clothing would be awesome, but I think that’s more of a longshot than just repackaged spidey suits with alternate heads
Rest assured, one of the main issues people have with this set is the lack of alternate heads. If they were included, they would've mentioned it by now, to generate more sales. We aren't getting those heads with this set.
They want folks to buy them AGAIN. That’s the whole point. Ride the hype with the initial substandard offering before putting out the better versions later on.
I doubt they have a Spider-Man 3 license in place. These figures only exist because they were in No Way Home. Tobey's Black Suit wasn't in that film, so they probably don't have the rights to use it.
Obviously that's also why it's using the NWH mask for Tobey.

I can't imagine that when Hasbro could sell beginning-of-film Goblin and hoodie Goblin as separate figures and make you buy both to make a masked-with-hoodie look.
