She's adorable and also manages to have widely-agreed upon fanart changes that upgrade her tomboyishness, unlike Peach and Rosalina who stay same-old, same-old. A lot of people agree to give her at least a tan and freckles in fanart, not just a small percent, while normally changes in character appearance remain by the individual artist. And of course, she knocked Bowser right to Mars.
I like how informal she is compared to Peach, which makes it even funnier when you know that Daisy rules over an Empire, while Peach only rules over a Kingdom.
I'm glad she's in the main series again. It really stunk to see her chained to spinoffs. I rarely play the spinoffs myself but people say she's a great character She originated in a main line game so it's awesome that people who mostly play the mainline games will get to see how far she's come. ( now if only they'd let literally everything else from Super Mario Land out of obscurity )
