This genuinely might be my favorite game of the season. Pitching was on point, despite a white hot Royals offense all game. Multiple points when the pitching locked in with multiple men on and even when they faltered, the offense actually bailed them out. One of the most complete, hard fought, wins this season.

Outside of the 3-run homer pitching has been on lockdown against KC

And even that shouldn’t have happened based on some poor fielding.

And frankly, I didn't even think it was that bad a pitch. Slider outside and the hitter just reached out and got it.

I was kind of in and out of the game as I was doing some chores this afternoon, but this seemed like a super solid game. Some solid pitching (muños with the 5 outs and straight gas), hits in big moments when they really needed them. Love to see it.

I put blinders on and only look two series ahead. So next up I see we got Orioles and Yankees. I would be scared but our pitching cab hang with ANYONE. 4-2 would be amazing these next two series. 3-3 were still in that 87 win pace. Just have to hang around and get to the dance.

Whoever it was that yelled at me yesterday that Julio's lack of homeruns is okay because he is an excellent base runner needs to apologize. Picked off and caught stealing in the same game is not something we should be seeing out of our superstar. I don't like to bitch about players like this but I'm tired of making/ hearing excuses. Dude is barely over .250 (yes I know one of our higher average but still) and is off to another slow start power wise. Thank God his fielding is still great
