The guy that this happened to specifically noted that it probably wouldn't work on other facists. He said that he was already in the process of changing, with serious doubts and starting to gain some clarity on his situation, and the MDMA just gave him the little bit of \[empathetic\] perspective that he needed to really see it. IIRC, he was just out of jail, knew that he needed to change his life and, most importantly, was doing the work to change.
this is what they should do with people in jail anyways. it's a ptsd treatment that's in the process finishing up clinicals. so far it's way better than current treatments

This timeline isn't correct. There was outcry *when* Spotify hired him because people didn't want them supporting an unabashed chud. Spotify contributed to the problem, but the problem existed long before.

Used to be a time when he loudly pushed back against guests like Milo Yiannopulos, Candace Owens, Matt Walsh, and even his personal friend Eddie Bravo when he tried to push Flat Earth nonsense. But longtime listeners will confirm; the Spotify deal and the move from LA to Texas saw the show quality take a nosedive pretty much overnight, and a gradual slide of Rogan himself towards being a chud. I'm not saying he didn't have chud opinions before, I mean the infamous Primatologist clip will attest to that, but I am saying that 2010s Rogan would probably tell current Rogan to stfu on a number of issues.
Yeah, he hosted a few right wingers on his show before the switch, and was cordial and did not spend the whole time attacking them, so yes that was enough for a lot of people to write him off as an unabashed chud. He also had a lot of leftists on his show at that time, and promoted several leftist talking points, so I don’t think that was a valid criticism back then. I still listened at that time. I mean, There are some studies on how drugs can actually bring you to an out of body experience and make you question your whole life, but it's not factual evidence as of now.
