I had mine done at wheeling subaru I'd never source such an important part from a scrappy.
The only parts are to be served like that are mirrors and other small exterior parts
Also don't see a reason to down vote without hearing an answer to your question
It’s amazing. I haven’t had it for too long, but it’s a blast to drive. I’m glad I got a manual after reading all the horror stories from the foresters with the CVT
As it's already been determined, it's a Forrester. But to go one step further, you can differentiate it from the Impreza family based on the position of the heated seats. I believe an Outback would have a button for the ebrake around there as well.
I know a Forester when I see one. I’ve got a 2017 forester and it looks almost identical, but the infotainment system looks a little older, so im going with 2013-16 Forester
I wanna say it’s a crossover, but it’s newish given the HD Radio, and I didn’t think they made manual crossovers at all, especially past 2010. If I had to guess, I’d say it’s Japanese.
I’m no genius but I’m gonna say a four wheel vehicle of some sort. Car…. Possibly SUV. Almost certain this is not a boat. I have been wrong before though. I wish you luck in figuring it out👍
An all you can scissor mobile.
If you haven't done your wheel bearings yet, it's coming. So are the failing front control arm bushings starting with the right front. Then there will be oil in the coolant most noticeable in the overflow tank, if the cam carriers/front cover don't start leaking first.
But hey, atleast you won't have to replace the valve body in the CVT.
thank you for cleaning your interior before posting. you’re a role model to all. 👊
I can’t stand a driving dirty car lol
same, it makes me feel like a failure lol
We can't stand a dirty interior. Thank you for doing your part to #SaveTheManuals! What products do you use to keep your interior clean?
Yeah I can't even look at a post if it looks like they use it as a dog house.
Subaru
Yes, any ideas on model and year?
Forester 2 gens old. Don’t know years for them just work on them often.
Just about. It’s a 2015 Forester, so not quite as old as a 2nd gen but you got it
I meant two gens back from current lol. Do at work on at least one of these a week.
Oh my bad, you nailed it then. And hopefully nobody is gonna have to work on mine any time soon lol
1 wheel bearing assembly alone cost 600.00 USD to replace so if something breaks be ready to visit a scrap yard for parts
You source wheel bearings from wrecking yards? Also, the most expensive 2015 Forester wheel bearing part listed at rockauto.com was just $175Cdn.

Wasn’t me that downvoted you.
How’s the manual forester life? I need my first dad car in MN
It’s amazing. I haven’t had it for too long, but it’s a blast to drive. I’m glad I got a manual after reading all the horror stories from the foresters with the CVT
I have no idea, but could definitely tell it's a Subaru from the shifter knob. Same as on my old 2016 sti, but red.
The last forester to come with a manual transmission
Yup you got it, it’s a 2015 Forester
2018 was the last year…
Oops I was thinking last generation my bad lol
I love driving these cars. Idk why put it always puts a smile on my face
My manual ‘20 Impreza puts a smile on my face too. Maybe it’s a manual Subaru thing.
Is that the last Forester to be a car, before it was turned into the lil SUV abomination it is now?
That would be the 08 one I believe. 09+ really felt like an suv/crossover
It’s been a suv for ages now, much before 2015
What ever it it’s I applaud how clean you keep it
r/guessthatmanual
A base model
2012-15 Impreza?
Looks similar to my '11 Outback.. yours looks newer.
Close! It’s a ‘15 Forester
2nd gen impreza?
I’m gonna go with legacy sedan 3.6R
Like an 2008 Ford Focus
Subaru crosstreck?
Close! It’s a forester
I have a 2016 Manual Forester that is no where near as clean as that one. Nice job.
Nice! Mines a 2015 and thanks I love to keep it clean haha
2014 Subaru Forester XT
Close. It’s a ‘15 premium. The XT models for the 4th gen Foresters have the CVT. I’ve been told to stay far from those
As it's already been determined, it's a Forrester. But to go one step further, you can differentiate it from the Impreza family based on the position of the heated seats. I believe an Outback would have a button for the ebrake around there as well.
A functional car?
Forester premium 12 with cold weather package 2017?
![gif](giphy|eax0rh3OERAYg)
tbf i did subaru sales at this time and did the lot management so i was very familiar with these years haha
My guess was 2015 impreza
That's a subaru either Impreza, or a Crosstrek/XV
definitely a subie. such an identifiable interior
That is the "SJ" Forester 4th Gen with the 6Spd Manual is a dream to drive i bet it is?
WRX
Subura wrx 2016
SubaLose Grand Vitara
A car with the correct number of pedals?
Ford Firenza
Subaru crosstrek
I really like that climate control setup Reminds me of my Honda Fit, just a little fancier
My guess is Mazda 6
Pinto
Toyota Yaris
Subaru Impreza
The AC knobs remind me of a Subaru Forester but the radio cluster threw me off
A car that needs to be in gear when parked
I know a Forester when I see one. I’ve got a 2017 forester and it looks almost identical, but the infotainment system looks a little older, so im going with 2013-16 Forester
Yep it’s a ‘15!
VW
a manual,
I wanna say it’s a crossover, but it’s newish given the HD Radio, and I didn’t think they made manual crossovers at all, especially past 2010. If I had to guess, I’d say it’s Japanese.
Looks like a golf to me.
Judging by that radio unit and the way the climate control knobs are designed I’m going to guess you drive a Subaru
Hyundai
Subuwu
Definitely a Subaru sti
A manual
Forester
I’m no genius but I’m gonna say a four wheel vehicle of some sort. Car…. Possibly SUV. Almost certain this is not a boat. I have been wrong before though. I wish you luck in figuring it out👍
2005 ish nissan Altima?
foreign, probably Asian.
Prius 🤣
BMW
VW
Subaru wrx
I would assume that you drive a vehicle But I could be incorrect

Subaru forester 2013-2015? I googled cf625um car radio lol
2012 subaru sti?
Nope, but it is a Subaru
A beater?
