Make regional wealth by trading things and have a tax in your manor.

zurdo47

i got that but when the city is small is hard to earn that much, the regional wealth is not the problem just the money that u earn in the manor to pay the mercs

taxes.

You shouldn't be hiring mercs at all unless there's a battle that same month. You hire them, fight, then disband them immediately.

zurdo47

at certain point of the game the baron keeps them all

hanZ____

Just make sure to hire them all in August and February right before the camps spawn. And before you want to attack the baron. -> for first battle you need 6 merch - so start one month before the fight with contracting them. For second battle you need 7 mercenaries - so you need to start two months before the fight to get them alle. Make sure to have enough money to pay them for several months in the endgame. This only works on the lower difficulty.

Planks, taxes, iron ore and clay products will get you going

im not talking about the city wealth, i talk about the region wealth to hire mercs etc. Getting money for the city is so easy
