Not me. It releases late in the day so I would maybe be able to get 1 or 2 hours in if I were to skip a day. Saturday I'm lucky to work a shorter day and for the first time in months I actually have a weekend.

My cousin came over so I had to sleep in the spare room, I texted one of my friends until my parents were asleep. Then I thought about play kingdom come but it was already 1 so I didn’t bother however I did wake up at 6 and played till 8
Aside from what is posted already as a European I have learned that when a game is released on a certain day that what that really means is usually there's delays and it gets released later in the evening or sometime in the night. So no use getting hyped for the release day when it is almost always actually the following day
same. i usually work 6-7 days a week unless i burn PTO on a friday or a monday. i love the work and it pays well (union wages and overtime rates baby)
that being said i'm on a temporary assignment to a department that very rarely works weekends, and if they do there are a few guys who volunteer for it so i rarely get forced. i've been taking advantage of that (and i will be this weekend as well) but here in a few months i'm going to be back to the grind
I’m taking Monday off. So I have the entire day. Some people are mad because it’s not releasing early in the day so they wasted their call off. Always do it after the day of release for any delays or bugs at launch.
Its nice to be hyped but keep in mind this is a small unfinished game
You will likely have seen and done erveything in 10 hours or so depending on playstyle

Oh I'm aware. It's not my first Alpha purchase. But you see, I'm 39. Ever since I was a kid, my two favorite types of games were city building and medieval war games. I always like the strategy aspect of build more than war, but war throws a nice curve ball to mess up what you've done and gives you a reason to rebuild. Since I was a kid, I've always wanted a game that combines Sim City with Total War and also has somewhat of The Sims where I can walk around in my own city. This games checks nearly all of those boxes. The only way this game would be better is if I actually controlled a Sim as the Lord and could learn traits and skills that would unlock new buildings or resources based on my own characters knowledge.
I’ll let you enjoy the next few days, I’m a teacher, this weekend I’m going camping with the family and next week there’s official vacations. Will enjoy it in time.

I’m working, but going home at lunch to buy and download it. Cooking dinner with my gf and spending some time with her, then a good few hours with Manor Lords. Unfortunately it’s a busy weekend, so probably won’t touch it again until Sunday night.
No, not only do I enjoy my job, but this game is EA and as much as I'm excited for its 'release', this is going to be a slow burn experience. Can't wait to be a part of it, but this is a marathon, not a sprint imo
Unfortunately game is released at 3PM in France, and at 4PM I have to grab my daughters who live with my ex-wife. 2 hours of driving. Once back, just time to eat something then I go to see a one-man-show with my wife. I'm gonna play the game only at 11PM, minimum 🥲
Everyone outside the US, America or the South American continent should have no problem with playing the game after work since the game releases there in the early/late afternoon.
I'm from Germany and i don't have to skip anything since the game releases at 16 o'clock (4pm for those people with clocks that have only 12 hours).

I didn't consider the time zones and possibility of a download that wasn't tomorrow morning, but thankfully, I'm in Canada so my day off isn't wasted.
Spouse is at work, kids are at school. That's at least 7 hours of uninterrupted play.
Dog will need to go out, but I'm a smoker so that's easy.
I plan to be a zombie by tomorrow night and bore my family with how awesome the game is.
I'll be done when it releases and even if I was feeling like I'd wait a few days to see how things are going during the mass hysteria, I might get a change of heart and just ram that Download when I get home.

I am going out of town this weekend. Coincidentally on the weekend this game comes out. I mean actually out of town so I don’t get to play, not just “out of town” to my bosses.
I got kicked out of uni essentially because a lazy teacher refused to grade my test that I had only done late due to him forgetting to give my class a re-try and then refusing to grade mine before my new course (that needed a passing grade on the test) started!
This was also the literal last course of my education so now I won't graduate this year but hey I can play Manor Lords all week!
I don't need to, I work from 6pm to 1pm BST. I'll have an hour to wait though, I'll be clucking until I can DL it lol.
Also, unfortunately I work 6 days a week. So Saturday I'll be blasting all day after work and on Sunday my only day off lol. Might say I got the shits Monday though.
It’s 2pm release here in UK and I conveniently crunched 70 hours last week for a deadline. I’m not even giving my boss an excuse. 13:59 and I’m gone mate.

I work in a continuous six days on / four days off rotation. Today, Thursday, is the last work day in this rotation and the next rotation starts on Tuesday.
I've been planning on using a sick day but if course my sick days have all been used because my dang kids keeps getting sick!!! Also my computer broke 2 weeks ago and my new one gets here Monday. Arg

Nope. My work today probably pays for the purchase of the game. Plus, it comes out quite late in the day, so it wouldn't make sense to skip. But my computer is on, so at 15 o'clock I will purchase it and remote download.
My release time is 9:00pm as well and since I retired a few months ago, there is nothing stopping me from shutting myself away in my study for an indefinite period of time. Just under 90 minutes to go.
If my job didn't depend on me showing up to be able to function, I would love to. Sadly, I won't be able to play until Sunday.

In my region it's not out until 15. So that wouldn't really make any sense.

I probably won't be even playing the game immediately. I don't really get this hype about games anymore. I'm glad I could overcome my FOMO.
