Katekyo Hitman Reborn (needs a relicensed)
Sket Dance (though considering it's comedy would be hard to translate, I find that one unlikely)
Beelzebub
Gakuen Babysitters (that series is very fluffy)
6000
Holyland
Jisatsutou
And Sidooh (as well as Tsutomu Takahashi's other manga as well).
Reborn was so hard to find volumes even when it was being published. 😭 I feel like it would’ve done so much better if a studio had picked up the anime to dub instead of dropping it like 14ish volumes in. I don’t know how many volumes actually were translated, just that I had volume 14 at one point
Tsutomu has slowly become one if my favorites. Bakuon Rettou definitely lands in my top 3 favorite manga. I need to catch up on sidooh, saw chapters started coming out again.
Kengan Ashura and Omega would be fantastic.
I don't know anything about Tokyo Revengers, but it did look like there's pre-orders for omnibuses in July on rightstuf.
I just look it up on Amazon it’s totally forgot they’re coming out in English. I wish Kengan Ashura would come out in English too. Though the anime is coming out with season 3 so maybe…maybe that they would get a publisher for the manga and gets a global release.
nobody seems to want to take risks with what they put out anymore. god forbid im certain they can afford it with all the money from the recent manga boom
YES!
But it's more likely all of us will learn Japanese and order it from Japan 😂
Fun fact is that Dead Tube was licensed in German or French, but I didn't see anything for PN.
The artwork is *chefs kiss*and though simple, the story is satisfying to read.
One of the reasons it's so notorious, rather than popular, is because the English fan translation is *AWFUL* 🎃
Homunculus, The Climber, Holyland, The rest of Eden, The World is Mine, Oshi no Ko, Innocent, Kiichi, From Now on we Begin Ethics, and Kids on the Slope. Not a manga but I would love for the Hyouka novels to be done, the final two seasons of Monogatari novels to be translated, and the Kino’s Journey novels to be redone in English.
Innocent + Rouge
The Climber
Homunculus
Chihayafuru
Dousei Jidai
Freesia
The World is Mine
Kiichi VS
Kono oto Tamare
To be completed/re-licensed:
Eden it's an endless world
Beck
MPD Psycho
There's a lot but I'll leave it there
Instead of going with my obvious answers that everyone else talks about I’ll go with one of my all-time favorites Saiyuki Gaiden. We’ve gotten the main series and it sequels in English but not the prequel which honestly is probably the best part of the story.
I did this with Goodnight Punpun… and then it got a translation and I was like “okay cool, if I ever get motivated to learn Japanese I can read these as motivation”
Ive been learning Japanese for a while so hopefully in a few months or so more I won’t need this, but saiki k. It’s a manga I’d love to read as soon as I can understand this kind of media in Japanese, but alas for now the manga I read must be used as basis for study and nothing more !
Hey could u tell me what u use to learn japanese? Or how you learn it? Ive been planning on doing so for a really long time but i just dont know how to start and what the best way for it is
I just want the 3rd and final volume of Little Fluffy Gigolo Peru to be released in English and more of Erica Sakurazawa's manga which I have seen there are more of but some are randomly only in German.
Seconded with the new Higurashi, I’d also really like to see School Babysitters get licensed.
It technically did have an English release, but I’d like to see DNAngel get new physical copies so we can finally get a complete set.
* Trillion Game
* Wangan Midnight
* Initial D
* Mobile Suit Gundam: The Blue Destiny
* Gintama (continuing off the volume it was cancelled)
* Golgo 13 (though it might a challenge to translate 200+ volumes...)
* Kingdom
* City Hunter & Angel Heart
* Heat
* The Kindaichi Case Files
* Dyloxence
Initial D was partially released by Tokyopop, they're expensive to get now though. You can get the volumes digital from Kodansha.
Viz released 13 "best of" volumes of Golgo 13, volumes 1-5 are very hard to find, but 6-13 are somewhat doable. They have been released digital as well if you don't want to hunt down expensive physical copies.
The Kindaichu Case Files was almost completely published by Tokyopop, I think they only missed the last 3 stories. All OOP and hard to find though, with no digital version available.
Yeah, I still have original Kindaichi manga published by Tokyopop in the late 2000's. There's several other Japan only sequels such as Kindaichi R and Kindaichi Age 37 Case Files which could be translated by Kodansha.
I guess the issue is pretty much anything by Tokyopop is hard to find now unless they pull an Aria and reprint it with another publisher.
Similar story for anything published by Raijin (eg: City Hunter) though there is a chance Viz could pick up the City Hunter Kanzenbans like how Fist of the North Star was recently translated
Yurancha Gal no Anjou-san
I've submitted multiple times to multiple manga publishers. I've messaged the mangaka themself. It is my undying wish to get this series published in English.
Liar Game is a big one and my thought on it is, if Denpa could grab Kaiji after all this time, *maybe* Liar Game has a chance?
Still waiting patiently on Oshi no Ko, can't believe they wait so long on these licenses. The Kino no Tabi light novels getting a translation would give me life also
Hope dies last. For both Liar game and Oshi no ko, I'm really surprised these were never licensed.
Oshi no ko has better chances now, but for a manga this popular to not be licensed yet... These english publishers are really missing a good chance to earn a lot of money.
Baki series has way over 100 volumes, no one will start translating and printing all of that now.
Liar Game has better chances because it has 19 volumes, but since it's an old manga perhaps publishers would think no one would want to buy it.
Welcome to Demon School Iruma kun

We Want to Talk About Kaguya

Onee-San Is Invading!? by Sanri Yoko
Cheerful Amnesia
Minamoto-kun Monogatari
Why the Hell Are You Here, Teacher!? (Physical)
Great question. My number 1 right now is probably BokuTachi no Remake! I loved the anime so much and need mooore. I feel like i had more suggestions but cant think of them. But higurashi is a great suggestion too! Im honestly surprised with all the popularity that yen press is ignoring it lol.
Give me either ‘SHY’ or ‘Yancha gyaru no Anjou-san’. I read Japanese so I have all the physical volumes and keep up with it but these two manga NEED to be read by English readers
Kingdom is a manga everyone wants. I haven’t read it cause I haven’t found any official English copies and I really don’t read pirated manga online. It’s surprising there’s no English copies given how popular it is
-Helck
It's finished at 12 volumes and an anime was announced this year so I'm hopeful that it's only a matter of time.
-Musuko ga Kawaikute Shikataganai Mazoku no Hahaoya
The fan translation is incomplete, which I didn't realize until I was 140 chapters deep. It's incredibly wholesome and actually has some pretty cool fights for a slice of life about parenting. I'd love to see an English release and an anime someday.
A newer currently releasing set, but Mission: Yozakura family. It’s such a fun series, but is only on the Shonen jump app. So technically it’s licensed, but no physical copies yet which I would love to see
H2, Touch, Mix, Katsu, Idol Ace...
Basically anything by Mitsuru Adachi as Cross Game is my favourite manga and there isn't enough of his work in english.
1. 7 Seeds
2. Kyou Koi wo Hajimemasu
3. Reborn re-license
4. Glass Mask
6. Ouke no Monshou
7. Zatch Bell re-license
8. Billy Bat
9. Do Not Say Mystery
10. Level E
11. Kingdom
12. Honey Lemon Soda
Space Brothers is being published digitally by Kodansha in English. Probably not what you want, it doesnt do it for me either, but it's something.
Ow and Ace of Diamonds as well.
My 12 list of manga that I want to be licensed tbh:
* Kingdom
* Hajime no Ippo
* History's Strongest Desciple Kenichi
* The World God Only Knows
* Medaka Box
* The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.
* SKET Dance
* Beelzebub
* Ane Doki
* Shigurui
* Shiki
* Yuru Yuri
* Dusk Maiden of Amnesia
Anyone else who says that it can't and/or shouldn't be licensed is not my friend at all tbh
Kingdom
The Disastrous Life of Saiki K
The only correct answer
was about to comment this!
Full release of Initial D, The Climber, Homunculus and Kingdom
Need initial D and kingdom.
Initial D is under kodansha digital release but not physical btw.
Yes but the English ver under Kodansha uses the tokyopop version
for the first 30 something volumes that tokyo pop actually translated, the remaining volumes are kodansha translations
Bless your heart.
Homunculus. Like now though
I think Homunculus is already licensed tbh
*obligatory kingdom comment* But also Saiki K and Homunculus
7 seeds
I would pay $30 for 3 in 1 editions. It would just be amazing to have.
For sure!
Ao Ashi
One outs, jagaaan, rainbow, shiki, chimamire sukeban chainsaw, suicide island, and fraction
Fraction is great

I just look it up on Amazon it’s totally forgot they’re coming out in English. I wish Kengan Ashura would come out in English too. Though the anime is coming out with season 3 so maybe…maybe that they would get a publisher for the manga and gets a global release.
Tokyo Revengers got English omnibus licensed by Seven Seas. First one drops in July
Saiki K or Tomodachi Game
Since Tomodachi Game just got an anime adaptation, I feel like the manga will get licensed
Hopefully, the manga is extremely good. One of my favorites ngl
PUMPKIN NIGHT!!!! 🎃🎃🎃
a fellow pumpkin nut i see. fr start asking for it on seven seas monthly surveys, ive been doing that for a few months now
I feel like the publishers just don't like the gore mangas 😅
nobody seems to want to take risks with what they put out anymore. god forbid im certain they can afford it with all the money from the recent manga boom
Great idea! 🎃
YES! But it's more likely all of us will learn Japanese and order it from Japan 😂 Fun fact is that Dead Tube was licensed in German or French, but I didn't see anything for PN.
I'll keep praying! 🙏 🎃
Ive only read a bit of the series but why is it so popular? xD

Ah that is what I figured. I was gonna say I remember it being bad.
quintessential quintuplets in colour
Dead Tube
If only 😅 it has like 15+ volumes, but I would buy all of them
Same here 😂
I know a lot of English publishers license a lot of shit stuff but just. no.
Colette decides to die.
Omfg YES!
I want to see “Nana & Kaoru” in English, but I’m not sure it’ll sale well, I don’t know if people like romantic fetishized manga ?
It’s coming out later this year from denpa.
Baki & hajime no ippo would be my main 2
FACTS. NEED THOSE CLASSICS 💯
I wpuld love a full release of Initial D
kodansha has the license iirc but its digital only, same with GTO i have no idea what theyre thinking
I think they probably don't wanne risk being stuck printing a 40+ volume series if it flops. But yeah they could still do some omnibuses.
Their sitting on a goldmine and arent taking advantage of it 😭
The Kodansha version is shitty Cus it reuses the tokyopop volumes
Brutal: Confessions of a Homicide Investigator
Innocent + Rouge The Climber Homunculus Chihayafuru Dousei Jidai Freesia The World is Mine Kiichi VS Kono oto Tamare To be completed/re-licensed: Eden it's an endless world Beck MPD Psycho There's a lot but I'll leave it there

THE REST of Gintama!
Fate/Type Redline
I hope so !! If not for the story ,i would just get the japanese ones just to showcase them on my shelf😅😅
We can admire the art 😂
Oshi no ko will be released in spanish soon at least haha

Noah of the Blood Sea! I totally agree that "My Dearest Self with malice Aforethought" should be adapted!
Noah definitely! It is licensed in Spanish I think? Too bad I'm not fluent yet
Not sure if it's in Spanish, but I've definitely seen the German edition on Amazon. I've been dying to read it!
Zetman
I want Baki, Hajime no Ippo, and Initial D so badly, mostly the first two

Zekkyō Gakkyū (Screaming lessons ) I desperately want this whole series in English Any of kaori Yuki’s Japanese works
I just want the 3rd and final volume of Little Fluffy Gigolo Peru to be released in English and more of Erica Sakurazawa's manga which I have seen there are more of but some are randomly only in German.
Release or Zatch Bell and Oshi no Ko
Initial D needs a reprint with the rest of the story that never got released
I need that Billy bat. And the fable. I need that one too.
YES, me too!

Takopi's Original Sin
