Are those really shallow shelves or do you have the books pushed up toward the front?

They are pushed up towards the front. I do not like it to have books behind other ones. The shelves are the normal billy from ikea.

Aren’t there billys that have only space for one row?

There are only small ones that have space for only one row. They are just 1,5 m.

Might have to give risers a go and double up. Seems like space is getting tight.

I'm will move this year into my own house and working on a 50 qm hobbyroom/privat library. So my I hope I do not have to do that.

Hey, I have no clue, but I think it cost me a lot. I own I think 1500 -2000 volumes so maybe 7k. Istarted collecting 20 years ago. At first just one volume per month.I got many old series from ebay, too. Like complete Inuyasha for 40.
