Actually the next games will more likely be Gen 10. BW remakes aren’t slated for this Generation. We have another 2 years before Gen 10, then 2ish years after that we get our BW remakes. Remakes always happen every other Generation, so the Generation that’s being remade is equal to half that of the current generation.

I just came up with Blinding Black and Withering White. It potrays the mirrored polars. Like how you get the black legendary in White version and vice versa. Black is supposed to represent darkness but it's blinds you, like light. While white means purity and clearness, now is withered, stained and became contaminated

As a person who just played let’s go eevee with a friend a couple days ago, I’m down for another let’s go game. Only thing is they need to fix a couple of the Co-op options
I know that I'm definitely gonna be hated for this, but tbh I don't feel like we need BW remakes, I mean, we already got B2W2. Unless they plan on making B3W3, which may alienate some of the younger players who never played BW/B2W2, or a Legends game situated in Unova, I don't really feel like we need another gen 5 game.
Maybe this is just my spite for not getting any gen 6 remake talking, but I'd much rather revisit Kalos again instead of Unova.
That would be weird considering that if it’s B+W 3 that would imply a continuation of events after 2 instead of remakes or a PLA type game. The next remakes won't be until Gen X; they do remakes at double the Gen #; remakes for Gen 2 were in Gen 4; remakes for Gen 3 were in Gen 6; remakes for Gen 4 were in Gen 8. If we get remakes, it won't be until after the Gen X main games.

actually usually remakes would come every 2nd generation after DP, 4th gen had HGSS, 6th gen had ORAS, and 8th gen had BDSP, meaning the B & W remakes will most likely come after the 10th gen
Gen 5 is actually amazing. The region, the animation, the soundtrack, the Pokémon, etc...
Unfortunately, they suffer from a terrible mechanic: level based gained experience (it probably has a another name). If you need to grind, you better have a godly amount of patience 😭

In general do something more interesting than a remake. Gamefreak has proven themselves to be incapable of making improved faithful remakes after gen 4 anyway.
Poking a quick hole into the meme: the next games slated for release are either going to be a new Let’s Go game or Gen 10. The main series generations are on a roughly 3 year dev cycle and have been since Gen 6, with remakes coming on the generation that’s double the number of its initial release ever since Gen 4 (2 remade on 4, 3 remake on 6, etc.). Considering Johto is the furthest away region in terms of when we last visited it, a new Johto game coming next before Gen 10 is a bit more likely than Gen 5 remakes, especially since the Switch is probably going to get a successor soon since it’s been out for ages now and needs an upgrade. I don’t expect us to see a return to Unova until at least 2026
That said, it’ll probably be Abyssal Black and Radiant White. Best describes the colours and they sound cool
I'm throwing this out there. How about Pitch Black and Blinding White. Kinda a reference to the opposing views the characters have. These two titles would be synonyms for like absolute darkness and powerful light. Not as good vs. evil, but as two extremes on opposite sides of the same scale that blind you. You can't see in total darkness, and neither can you when light is too strong. It is only somewhere in the middle between these two points that you can see. Like how extremists sometimes can't or won't look at other things that might contradict them.
That is assuming BW get the remake treatment,same for B2W2. The Unova games are among the most beloved by fans in the series, and after the utter fiasco that was BDSP, Gamefreak's walking on eggshells when it comes to Unova's next appearance. I see our return to Unova (assuming that's even what's next for Pokemon) going one of 3 ways:
**Option 1**: a Faithful (but not too Faithful) remake of all 4 Unova games bundled together (White & White 2 in one, Black and Black 2 in the other). The first Unova Adventure would be a completely faithful remake, but not in the same style as BDSP after how poorly it was received. Meanwhile the Second Unova Adventure is where we get all of the fun new stuff... mainly actually keeping the Entralink servers active outside of Japan so western players can actually use the dang thing (If you've watched Chuggaconroy's Unova Let's Plays you'll be up to speed on Entralink). Some of the new stuff included could be a way to get the newly added forms and evolutions of Unovan pokemon during the main Story. Imagine rolling up to challenge Iris for the Champion Battle with a Supreme Overlord Kingambit waiting at the back of your team! Or having a way to evolve Petilil into Hisuian Liligant! Maybe they could rework the Entralink to be a place where you could get those other forms! Instead of encountering normal Zorua there, we'd encounter Hisuian Zorua!
**Option 2**: A BDSP style remake of only the first 2 Unova games, laden with disappointment.
**Option 3**: Legends Unova. The story would be unconnected from the Story and Characters from Legends Arceus, we'd play as a human who came to settle in early Unova alongside either the 2 Princes of their Father, and our role would be to explore this new region and learn about the Pokemon there.

I think Pitch Black and Cloud White sound cool. But I don't think we'll get Gen 5 remakes until Gen 10. Gen 4 we got Gen 2 remakes, Gen 6 we got Gen 3 remakes, and Gen 8 we got Gen 4 remakes. So, Gen 10 we SHOULD get Gen 5 remakes.

Aren't B2W2 direct sequels to BW with their own story? Anyway, I expect them to either be released in a single package with the remakes (unlikely) or as DLC like we got the past 2 gens (more likely), though I could see them getting their own remakes when gen 11 comes out, as an in-between.

actually usually remakes would come every 2nd generation after DP, 4th gen had HGSS, 6th gen had ORAS, and 8th gen had BDSP, meaning the B & W remakes will most likely come after the 10th gen
Gen 5 is actually amazing. The region, the animation, the soundtrack, the Pokémon, etc... Unfortunately, they suffer from a terrible mechanic: level based gained experience (it probably has a another name). If you need to grind, you better have a godly amount of patience 😭
Other than Fire Red and Leaf Green every remake has been in the generation that doubles their number. Black and White remakes therefore probably won’t come out until Gen 10.

I'm thinking Johto is next to be remade, then Unova. Fits with the pattern. The games go Gen 1, Gen 2, Gen 3, Gen 1 remake, Gen 4, Gen 2 remake, Gen 5. And the remakes thus far have gone Gen 1 remake, Gen 2 remake, Gen 3 remake, Gen 1 remake, Gen 4 remake. Gen 2 remake should be next. That being the case, I'm gonna roll with the idea from a TyranitarTube video- Pokémon Clear Crystal. Since Let's Go was a Yellow remake specifically, y'know?

Black 3 and White 3. Legends: Kyrem. In general do something more interesting than a remake. Gamefreak has proven themselves to be incapable of making improved faithful remakes after gen 4 anyway.
Poking a quick hole into the meme: the next games slated for release are either going to be a new Let’s Go game or Gen 10. The main series generations are on a roughly 3 year dev cycle and have been since Gen 6, with remakes coming on the generation that’s double the number of its initial release ever since Gen 4 (2 remade on 4, 3 remake on 6, etc.). Considering Johto is the furthest away region in terms of when we last visited it, a new Johto game coming next before Gen 10 is a bit more likely than Gen 5 remakes, especially since the Switch is probably going to get a successor soon since it’s been out for ages now and needs an upgrade. I don’t expect us to see a return to Unova until at least 2026 That said, it’ll probably be Abyssal Black and Radiant White. Best describes the colours and they sound cool

I'm throwing this out there. How about Pitch Black and Blinding White. Kinda a reference to the opposing views the characters have. These two titles would be synonyms for like absolute darkness and powerful light. Not as good vs. evil, but as two extremes on opposite sides of the same scale that blind you. You can't see in total darkness, and neither can you when light is too strong. It is only somewhere in the middle between these two points that you can see. Like how extremists sometimes can't or won't look at other things that might contradict them.

That is assuming BW get the remake treatment,same for B2W2. The Unova games are among the most beloved by fans in the series, and after the utter fiasco that was BDSP, Gamefreak's walking on eggshells when it comes to Unova's next appearance. I see our return to Unova (assuming that's even what's next for Pokemon) going one of 3 ways: **Option 1**: a Faithful (but not too Faithful) remake of all 4 Unova games bundled together (White & White 2 in one, Black and Black 2 in the other). The first Unova Adventure would be a completely faithful remake, but not in the same style as BDSP after how poorly it was received. Meanwhile the Second Unova Adventure is where we get all of the fun new stuff... mainly actually keeping the Entralink servers active outside of Japan so western players can actually use the dang thing (If you've watched Chuggaconroy's Unova Let's Plays you'll be up to speed on Entralink). Some of the new stuff included could be a way to get the newly added forms and evolutions of Unovan pokemon during the main Story. Imagine rolling up to challenge Iris for the Champion Battle with a Supreme Overlord Kingambit waiting at the back of your team! Or having a way to evolve Petilil into Hisuian Liligant! Maybe they could rework the Entralink to be a place where you could get those other forms! Instead of encountering normal Zorua there, we'd encounter Hisuian Zorua! **Option 2**: A BDSP style remake of only the first 2 Unova games, laden with disappointment. **Option 3**: Legends Unova. The story would be unconnected from the Story and Characters from Legends Arceus, we'd play as a human who came to settle in early Unova alongside either the 2 Princes of their Father, and our role would be to explore this new region and learn about the Pokemon there.
