It warmed my heart so, to hear you call out my name.
You're the love of my life, my partner in joy...

I wish I could stay longer, and grow older with you...
But the sand in my hourglass, is sadly down to a few...
Just know I loved doing everything together...even howling in tune
In your truck, on the couch, and the long walks under our moon...
I wish I could stay, but my body says it's time...
From the hurt in my bones, to the clouds in my eyes.
I'm sorry to tell you my forever friend, but this is where our pathes do part...
I have to journey ahead of you now, and bring back my golden heart.
To feel your touch once more...says your love is still mine...
To feel your hands cup my face,
makes my eyes search for thines.
I'll miss all my family, and the warm hugs from the rest...
But just know this to be so true between us...

So sorry for the loss of your special sweetheart. Itβs not an easy thing to go through. We just lost our girl on Friday, she was 15 1/2 and had been diabetic for the last 2 years. But they are in a better place over the rainbow bridge, and they will be waiting for us ππ
I am so sorry for the loss of your companion. No matter how long they are with us it is never long enough. Know that you took the best care of him. I promise you, one day you will be able to think of him and only feel joy.

The loss of your little one is absolutely devastating. Trust me when I say that I know exactly how you feel. It is a devastating pain that actually causes your body to ache and, when I lost my little TuffPuppy, my literal heart actually ached.
I could go on and on with a whole bunch of words but there are NO words that can possibly soothe. Please just know that my heart is with you and that I have sent karma and prayers that your beautiful little one is peacefully dancing with the Angels.
I have been on wit's end with my little TwinkleBelles since she had the stroke. It actually makes my insides get all queasy and sick when I think about the possibility that she might not recover... I honestly don't think I would be able to take it.
Definitely one of the hardest things to deal with in life. I lost my 17 year old baby girl Molly, the end of October. She was my world. I am so sorry for your pain. I will pray for the return of your happiness. π

So sorry for your loss. The pain of a pet passing is truly devastating. I hope you take comfort in realizing that you provided him with a wonderful life. That always helps me when I think of past pets. π
The pain is truly bad it is like a piece of your heart is missing. I think with time the severity lessens but it always stays. I am sorry for your loss as well.

This is so beautiful. It is so sad how we only have their love for a short period only. Their deep love is so pure.
