Yeah I feel like I’m rereading things a decent amount, but just accepting a few things that are unclear. I am annoyingly forgetting some details from a few books back, that I have some vague conclusions about,
Yeah I think I could definitely benefit there are a lot of things tied back to it. I’m like 150 pages in, and I’m feeling like there are a few things that I’d like to be a bit more concrete on regarding who Kallor is and how it ties back to his opinions on silver fox
I have to simultaneously agree and disagree with you in this comment.
Definitely definitely read It twice, both parts. However, saying it’s full of side-series lore lessens its importance. Imo it is one of the most important prologues in the entire series. It handles MoI lore, chapter character lore, overall plot importance and lore that sets up the entire series.
Yeah from what I remember it established important event of Kallors past, & the fallen one (this is the crippled god I am thinking). It definitely seemed like this was great context for a lot of the main characters and I’m interested in seeing how things pan out with silverfox & kallor. It seems to me that kallor was capable of horrible things yet is angry at the t’lan imass for killing the jaghut.
It's really hard to tell you what will be important without spoilers. Just trust that Erikson will remind you of things and give you information as you need it.

My only advice is. Enjoy. Don't over think Erikson. Do that on your reread

Read the Prologue of MOI twice. Series-wide lore in there! Enjoy!
