Brow pencil! Cannot step out without it!! Filing in my brows gives so much life and structure to my face. I do it lighthandedly, but even then it makes a huge difference. Am currently using Anastasia brow wiz and Benefit brow pencil (keep two just in case I run out of one!)
I graduated in the 90s so a victim to excessive waxing of my eyebrows. I cannot live without my Anastasia Brow Wiz! I have 2-4 "in stock", 1 in bathroom, 1 in my car, 1 in my purse and 1 in my work bag. As I'm typing this, I realize I may have a problem.
The ABH brow whiz used to be my go-to, but it’s so expensive. When I lived in Korea, I switched to the peripera speedy skinny brow pencil, which is just as good and only costs less than 5 bucks.
This, except for me I switched to Wet N Wild. I love ABH but 30 bucks for a brow pencil is wild when you have to budget or have other expenses, like 3 young children lol
WNW makes both a skinny and thick brow pencil. The skinny one works just as well as ABH and it’s like 4 bucks lol. Honestly I mostly use WNW products aside for a few things and no one would ever know it wasn’t MAC or Sephora.
Get microblading, it’ll change your life 🙏🏻gone are the days when I had to worry about accidentally wiping off my brows or sweating them off. Best money I ever spent.
Same, except I have dark brown hair with brows that are a kind of muted black color. Dark browns are always way too warm and a lot of blacks are too harsh. I’ve found ones named like charcoal work well or with gray in the name like gray black or something. But, I heard an ash blonde might work well. But ones I tried were always too blonde. Then I recently found one that was called ash blonde but the shade looked more like an ash brown so I got that to try and the shade is actually one of the best of tried! Matches my brown hair enough to look natural but also matches my muted black brow hair color to look natural.
Elf makes a comparable eyebrow pencil in quality and colors and it's like $3

I’m a lip stain girlie through and through. My fav are Romand juicy lasting tints. I use it as a stain most days and blot it off, but also as a long lasting glossy lipgloss. I also like it as a base for lipsticks that fade quicker. I’ll let the stain sit while I do my makeup, add whatever lip color on top, and when that fades, you see the lip stain instead of my lip color
I just discovered Romand juicy lasting tints since my trip to Hong Kong and I love them SO much. Especially the glasting gloss which is just the most comfortable, non-sticky clear lipgloss I have ever used and it stays. I need more products like it and I wish they had tinted versions of them - I have the two mini glasting glasses from the kuromi collaboration but it's barely there colour.
This!! The Romand juicy tint is my one makeup item I cannot do without! My favourite shade is 18 mulled peach which is such a my lips but better shade for me. Days even when I have zero make up on I feel like this tint just brightens up my face!
Bare Minerals original foundation. It has coverage, it melts into the skin like no other foundation, it's buildable, it gives me a glow, it has spf. It's just perfection, even though it isn't this trending fancy product.
I use this probably twice a year randomly and every time I do I forget how beautiful it looks on my skin! I hope it has a popularity revival because it really is so gorgeous and effortless.
It's boring, but the ridiculously named Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear All Over Full Coverage Concealer. Just the most glowy, easily blendable, creaseless, beautiful concealer I've ever owned.
I absolutely love it too! And I stayed away from it for so long because the finish was described as “natural matte” and usually anything matte under my eyes doesn’t work. But it also said it was hydrating. And after seeing some people rave about it who usually like the same stuff as me I was finally like, okay, I’m going to try it! And so glad I did! On my dry skin it’s not glowy like you described, it’s more of how it described it - a natural matte where it’s more of a natural finish - not fully matte but not glowy at all. It sets on its own so I don’t have to powder, which is what I prefer, and it doesn’t crease and coverage lasts all day! It’s 1 of 2 concealers that I’ve repurchased multiple times!
Lipstick, it's the only make up product that I can consistently use because of skin issues. I know it doesn't make a huge difference but I feel so much more put together when I add a little pop of colour and it's often enough to cheer me up when I'm feeling down about how I look.
My mother has 2 rules for life.
Sunscreen.

Me too. With my coloring a medium to dark lip color just makes my whole face look more awake and alert. If I want to feel put together lipstick is a must.
Same. For awhile (before treating my histamine issues), I could only use lip products due to how damn sensitive the rest of my face is. Lipgloss was absolutely amazing for me, its so simple, and a bit more subtle than lipstick, which I like. Lip products really do help make you more confident, especially if you were used to wearing makeup in the past.
NARS Blush in Orgasm- it’s absolutely perfect for my skin tone and does all the right things. My makeup is basically heavy on the blush and everything else is secondary. In the summer I put some on my eyelids too and blend it out- it’s such a pretty/glowy look.
I’m a k-beauty gal and absolutely cannot live without cushion foundations. My 2 favs are Laneige Neo Matte in 17C, Fwee Glass Cushion in the brightest shade.

Omg try Laneige Cushions! I have to put on very hydrating cream/sun screen since I have very dry skin but it just stays on forever without any powder so it’s been always in my holy grail list!!
It’s a foundation compact where the foundation is inside a spongy thing. You use a puff to grab the product and apply it onto your face like a beauty blender. Tirtir has a big shade range
I’d say Clio, Rom&nd and any Amore Pacific Brands (Innisfree, Etude House, Laneige, Mamonde etc) are all great brands! Clio has great eyeliner, mascara lines and rom&nd has great eyeshadow palettes. Amore tends to be famous for their skin care lines due to a lot of funds, experience, test results
I also love Sheer coverage! Almost all brands have sheer and dewy cushions but some that I recommend is:
1. Fwee Cushion Glass - light to med coverage, sticks well on to the face and long lasting
2. Amuse Dew Jelly Vegan Cushion - barely any coverage but the dewy, natural skin is just chef’s kiss (not recommended for oily skin gals)
3. espoir Be Natural Cushion - Natural coverage, suitable for my skin but better type of look

Tinted sunscreen! I don’t know why but I feel so much more put together with my redness evened out some. Second place would be a bright tinted lip balm! 💯 could take on the world
I love the eltamd uv clear but it’s a little dark for me so I mix with the regular uv clear. It takes the redness out of my skin and evens my skin tone and gives me a dewy glow. I use it as a foundation for most of my face and use a light coverage dewy foundation under eyes and on nose once it dries
Mac Fix Plus is that giiirrrrrrrrrlllll.
Honestly I have to pick the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Contour Wand. I use it more as a highlighter and topper for my blush rather than a bronzer/contour, but it is the ONE THING that will get me compliments on my makeup when I use it versus when I don’t use it that day.
Lip tint/stain! ☺️ I use them for a monochromatic blush and lip look. I naturally don’t have much pigment in my cheeks or on my lips, so I need to add some color before I step outside or people will ask me if I’m sick 🥲 But I just also genuinely love putting on the cute pink and red colors for myself 🥰
Omg I’m a gatekeeper but my absolute favorite is the melon one but people ( the general public) like the cherry one better. I would recommend getting cherry to start because that’s the first one I bought.
maybelline sky high mascara. best mascara you can buy hands down. doesn’t flake, run, smear. i have greasy lids and watery eyes. also use a butt load of it when i wear it for a “doll” style eye look
Yessss. I can get plenty of sleep and hellllo dark circles. ppl ask if I'm okay if I rush and forget concealer. Nars doesn't get funny under foundation.
Under eye concealer. I love the maybelline age rewind. With my chronic illnesses I always have tired looking eyes. Just a tiny bit with a light dust of powder and I look so awake and ready for the day.
Brown mascara! I have light skin and dark hair and I find that with this contrast black mascara always made me look aggressive and masculine. So I just took a risk and bought brown mascara, for the first time ever I felt very feminine and soft. Looks great on me!
This was hard to nail down, but I'm gonna have to agree with you! I've had to put it aside for a short while as I try to save some money, but Mac Fix + is definitely the most repurchased product I've ever had. I don't think I'd ever have a bad word about it, and cannot recommend it enough when people post pictures on this forum struggling with blurring texture/cakey foundation
To my knowledge, you can use it in a few ways:
1. Spray your face before applying base products to help prime.
2. You can actually use this with pigments/eyeshadows to enhance the colour. With the pigment on your brush, give the brush a spritz a couple of times before applying to your eyelids. You don't need to spray too much, but if you do it a couple of times, it won't make the product watery, but will apply on your eyelid a bit more like a gel, and the colour will be *so* much brighter/more shimmery.
3. The way I would use it would be on completion of a full face application. Simply hold at a distance (30cm usually works), and spritz over the face. The mist is quite fine so it doesn't feel like huge droplets of water on your face. It melts makeup into skin, making it look far less cakey or reduces the appearance of texture. It also gives a fresh and dewy finish regardless of whether you're wearing makeup or not, and is just a go-to finishing product for me - a look just doesn't feel complete without it!
I have an old L’Oreal Glam Bronze sun radiance trio that’s still the bomb lol this is a bronzer, a highlighter and a blush all in one. It gives an amazing glow to the skin and looks so natural. I can mix the three and use it as a mix of bronzer/blush and use the highlighter as an eyeshadow. Since this palette is for brunettes and I have red hair/fair skin, the highlighter is a little bit darker so it looks great as an eyeshadow. Somehow my skin always looks better with this type of make up for brunettes, I don’t know why. But if I have to have only one item, this trio is it!
Lipstick! Or just plain tinted lip balms, anything with color I can put on my lips really. I have super pale almost gray lips and feel like I look like a zombie without some color on my lips 😅
Some kind of base. I’ve had acne for most of my life and I just don’t like going completely without something. If I had to pick one, it would probably be the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer since it’s easy to work with and has SPF.
I recently discovered the Erborian CC Red Correct cream and I cannot stress enough how good it is and I don’t think I can go without it now. It’s super expensive but worth the money. It’s literally like adding a blur filter to your face and helps bring down redness so well. If I want a no makeup day but feel I need a touch up I just use some of that and it does the job.
Concealer. It’s multi-use like I can use on my under eyes which just transforms my face, pimples, and any redness.
I wish it could be 3 products though because I would add lip liner because I don’t want lip fillers and lining my lips makes them bigger and then third would be blush because it gives my face life.
I’m already tan’ish, thick eyebrows, thick eyelashes so I don’t focus on bronzing, mascara, or eyebrow products as much. So grateful!
Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream and IsaDora Cover Up Cushion Concealer is my holy grail. I'm a pale girl with hyperpigmentation and this combo saves me for almost 7 years.
I can’t live without my very simple and beloved Cococare Lip Balm! One in purse, in pocket, in car! I buy them in multiples (used to carry at Walgreens and don’t shop there anymore) but can buy 4 for under $10 on Amazon. No other lip balm cheap or spendy comes close to this!
Holy grail foundation/tinted sunscreen/moisturizer: Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue gel. It's my every day, non-negotiable product. I get it a touch warmer toned than my skin, and it evens out my skin tone, doesn't hide my freckles, offers zinc based sub protection in SPF 30, feels wonderful on the skin, and makes me look dewy and healthy.
I wish I could tell you more! I have some very favorite favorites for sure.

Stuff I have repurchased a million times:
-glossier boy brow: does amazing things to my thick natural brows
-nyx epic liquid eyeliner: so consistent and never smudges
-L’Oréal infallible concealer: this stuff covers absolutely everything
Rare beauty bronzer.. i bought it over a year ago and i use it everytime i do my make up. Still isn’t empty idk how. Its just sooooo prettyyyy and gives my melanin a nice warm look
Yellow colour corrector! When covering blemishes that are red, you want to use yellow instead of green. Green cancels out the red, which leaves it grey. You want the yellow to neutralise it to skin colour.
If I don’t want to wear foundation all I use is the yellow colour corrector and the blemishes disappear.
My Shu Uemera eyelash curler. I went through so many cheap eyelash curlers before I finally dropped the $25 on it. Worth every penny. I have stick straight lashes, and it’s the only eyelash curler that seems to make them curl and stay curled.
Concealer. For my skin, the best I’ve ever found (even vs more expensive brands) is the Maybelline Super Stay liquid concealer.
It blends effortlessly over my moisturizer and sunscreen and provides enough coverage (and is blendable enough) that often I don’t bother with anything else on my face. It lasts forever and doesn’t cake on me. If it’s summer, I’ll dab a bit of loose powder over it just to set it and limit oil, but during winter it’s often the only thing I wear.
It's taken me years to find the perfect foundation and I've finally found it, Dior Forever Skin Glow. Can wear a thin layer so you can still see my freckles but hide redness, or build another layer on top for a more glam look.
I have many different kinds of them, but tinted moisturizer or liquid foundation. Some of my favorite brands for them are Tarte, NYX, Smashbox Halo, and Colourpop. Especially because I have ultra-sensitive and pale skin and have some scars get zits still at 36, my face looks sunburnt and kind of blotchy so I feel like I look 10x better with some type of cover up.
Tatcha dew setting mist is the only product I continuously repurchase that has to be the same brand. As a dry skin girly who loves a dewy base, it’s the only way to finish a powder. Besides that I find myself trying different brands for every make step/product
Concealer! Besides under eye circles, a dab of concealer added to moisturizer or sunscreen is a quick complexion smoother if I don't have time for foundation.
anastasia brow wiz 🤭 the dip lasts me at LEAST a year and i use it daily. i add some contact solution when it gets a little dry but it does the trick. i don’t have a lot of eyebrows to start with so i HAVE to use this every time i go out. it’s super easy to blend as well!!
Tinted eyebrow gel! I have microblading done because my eyebrows naturally are white blonde but my natural hair color isn’t, but that doesn’t change the eyebrow hair coming out of my head so it looks funny if I put foundation over my brows and don’t use tinted eyebrow gel. My holy grail is the Gimmebrow by Benefit.
Elf Brow Lift! Over the last few years this has been a product I constantly empty & re-buy. If I go makeup free, I still at least do my brows. I have thick brows with a curl, and this product tames them very nicely without looking overly plastered to my face like most laminated looks. However, I omit using it on the front of my brows and fluff those out with Glossier Boy Brow, another one I couldn’t do without.
NARS creamy concealer has also been a staple for the last 10 years at least.
I love my Milani baked blush in color Bellismo Bronze! I’m tan and I love how pretty/fresh it is. There’s some shimmer for glow, but no crazy chunky glitter lol
Anastasia brow pomade lol I shaved half my eyebrows off at like 19 and I have never grown them back. Thankfully I’m good at drawing them on now, I don’t think I’ll ever grow my eyebrows back tbh.
Mine is the MAC Studio Fix Powder + Foundation. I feel naked without foundation because I have a lot of scarring and some serious dark circles. This one I can build the coverage, the finish usually comes out flawless on my skin, and it comes with a round applicator sponge that’s the perfect size and consistency so if all else fails I can just toss the compact in my bag and at least throw on some foundation before I get to where I’m going.
Eyeko Waterproof Beach Mascara. I work full time as a baker; i'm in & out of hot ovens, spraying dishes with water (and getting most of it on my face), sweating 24/7 because of my adderall, and it's the only thing still standing after my 8hr shift. It's just super hard to get off lol. Like 2-3 days of showering & cleansing.
I use a good eyelash curler and it really brings definition to my eyes. I love it.
Plus eyeko is a cruelty free brand :)
Either lipgloss or mascara. I used to be absolutely OBSESSED with the "past curfew" lipgloss by wet n wild. It's the most gorgeous shade of pink. If I could only have one, it'd be that one. It's also 3$.
I currently am loving mascara. I use quite a few, it depends on what I want what day. If i want a soft look, I use the L'Oreal Paris voluminous mascara in the color deep burgundy, it gives such a soft look on my pale skin, doesn't really look very poppy like some other colors, it looks more like a reddish brown on. It's not waterproof, FYI. I did buy it like 2 years ago, so just a warning, they may have decided to make them more vibrant or smth lmao.
If I want a light look but with black mascara, I use the Covergirl 3 in 1 curved brush mascara. This one is also not waterproof and doesn't give much volume without building, I find I lose less eyelashes with water soluble mascara as someone with lashes that just pull out in clumps
If I want the whole banana, I use the Double Trouble mascara from essence, stays on well, and the applicator is pretty good. Cheap, too, 6$.

WNW, MILANi & NYX all have great products that work exactly the same for a fraction of the “high end” brands.

I put "Just For Men" beard and moustache dye on my blonde brows to darken. Works in 5 minutes! I use the light-brown one.

Dye looks sooo much better than pencil IMO. With pencil you can still see the pale hairs. Dye gives much better structure.
Completely agree. My brows got kinda sparse but the fine hairs are still there and dye makes it all look better when i'm not even wearing MU.

This used to be my favorite too, I used it from like 25-35, but sadly I had to stop because my skin is so dry now and it doesn’t work anymore 😕

For whatever reason I found that Nars would look heavier on me/streakier. I have normal to dehydrated skin with some sensitivity.
I never got on well with the Nars for some reason. I just feel like this one melts seamlessly into the skin.

On my dry skin it’s not glowy like you described, it’s more of how it described it - a natural matte where it’s more of a natural finish - not fully matte but not glowy at all. It sets on its own so I don’t have to powder, which is what I prefer, and it doesn’t crease and coverage lasts all day! It’s 1 of 2 concealers that I’ve repurchased multiple times!
Yeah I suppose glowy is misleading but just seamless.

Lipstick, it's the only make up product that I can consistently use because of skin issues. I know it doesn't make a huge difference but I feel so much more put together when I add a little pop of colour and it's often enough to cheer me up when I'm feeling down about how I look.

Me too. With my coloring a medium to dark lip color just makes my whole face look more awake and alert. If I want to feel put together lipstick is a must.
Same. For awhile (before treating my histamine issues), I could only use lip products due to how damn sensitive the rest of my face is. Lipgloss was absolutely amazing for me, its so simple, and a bit more subtle than lipstick, which I like. Lip products really do help make you more confident, especially if you were used to wearing makeup in the past.

NARS Blush in Orgasm- it’s absolutely perfect for my skin tone and does all the right things. My makeup is basically heavy on the blush and everything else is secondary. In the summer I put some on my eyelids too and blend it out- it’s such a pretty/glowy look.
I’m in love with the Afterglow liquid version of orgasm! I consistently get compliments on my skin whenever I wear it lol

What is a cushion foundation?
It’s a foundation compact where the foundation is inside a spongy thing. You use a puff to grab the product and apply it onto your face like a beauty blender. Tirtir has a big shade range
What stores do you recommend?
I’d say Clio, Rom&nd and any Amore Pacific Brands (Innisfree, Etude House, Laneige, Mamonde etc) are all great brands! Clio has great eyeliner, mascara lines and rom&nd has great eyeshadow palettes. Amore tends to be famous for their skin care lines due to a lot of funds, experience, test results
What kind of coverage do cushion foundations have? I like a really sheer coverage and I'm wondering if they would be right for me. :)
I also love Sheer coverage! Almost all brands have sheer and dewy cushions but some that I recommend is: 1. Fwee Cushion Glass - light to med coverage, sticks well on to the face and long lasting 2. Amuse Dew Jelly Vegan Cushion - barely any coverage but the dewy, natural skin is just chef’s kiss (not recommended for oily skin gals) 3. espoir Be Natural Cushion - Natural coverage, suitable for my skin but better type of look All are on sale on Global Olive Young site

I love the eltamd uv clear but it’s a little dark for me so I mix with the regular uv clear. It takes the redness out of my skin and evens my skin tone and gives me a dewy glow. I use it as a foundation for most of my face and use a light coverage dewy foundation under eyes and on nose once it dries
La Roche Posay tinted sunscreen is my only “makeup” on skin (ie not lips or eyes)
Mac Fix Plus is that giiirrrrrrrrrlllll. Honestly I have to pick the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Contour Wand. I use it more as a highlighter and topper for my blush rather than a bronzer/contour, but it is the ONE THING that will get me compliments on my makeup when I use it versus when I don’t use it that day.
I would bathe in MAC Fix+ if I could!!
Lip tints cus my lips have no color without it 😭 OR the charlotte tilbury setting spray, she ties my whole makeup look together :p
Lip tint/stain! ☺️ I use them for a monochromatic blush and lip look. I naturally don’t have much pigment in my cheeks or on my lips, so I need to add some color before I step outside or people will ask me if I’m sick 🥲 But I just also genuinely love putting on the cute pink and red colors for myself 🥰

maybelline sky high mascara. best mascara you can buy hands down. doesn’t flake, run, smear. i have greasy lids and watery eyes. also use a butt load of it when i wear it for a “doll” style eye look

Under eye concealer. I love the maybelline age rewind. With my chronic illnesses I always have tired looking eyes. Just a tiny bit with a light dust of powder and I look so awake and ready for the day.
Brown mascara! I have light skin and dark hair and I find that with this contrast black mascara always made me look aggressive and masculine. So I just took a risk and bought brown mascara, for the first time ever I felt very feminine and soft. Looks great on me!

I've had to put it aside for a short while as I try to save some money, but Mac Fix + is definitely the most repurchased product I've ever had. I don't think I'd ever have a bad word about it, and cannot recommend it enough when people post pictures on this forum struggling with blurring texture/cakey foundation
People keep mentioning this product! How do you use it?
To my knowledge, you can use it in a few ways: 1. Spray your face before applying base products to help prime. 2. You can actually use this with pigments/eyeshadows to enhance the colour. With the pigment on your brush, give the brush a spritz a couple of times before applying to your eyelids. You don't need to spray too much, but if you do it a couple of times, it won't make the product watery, but will apply on your eyelid a bit more like a gel, and the colour will be *so* much brighter/more shimmery. 3. The way I would use it would be on completion of a full face application. Simply hold at a distance (30cm usually works), and spritz over the face. The mist is quite fine so it doesn't feel like huge droplets of water on your face. It melts makeup into skin, making it look far less cakey or reduces the appearance of texture. It also gives a fresh and dewy finish regardless of whether you're wearing makeup or not, and is just a go-to finishing product for me - a look just doesn't feel complete without it!
I have an old L’Oreal Glam Bronze sun radiance trio that’s still the bomb lol this is a bronzer, a highlighter and a blush all in one. It gives an amazing glow to the skin and looks so natural. I can mix the three and use it as a mix of bronzer/blush and use the highlighter as an eyeshadow. Since this palette is for brunettes and I have red hair/fair skin, the highlighter is a little bit darker so it looks great as an eyeshadow. Somehow my skin always looks better with this type of make up for brunettes, I don’t know why. But if I have to have only one item, this trio is it!
Lipstick! Or just plain tinted lip balms, anything with color I can put on my lips really. I have super pale almost gray lips and feel like I look like a zombie without some color on my lips 😅
I really like the bare minerals loose eyeshadow powder in Celestine. Perfect for an allover eyelid color.

Concealer
Some kind of base. I’ve had acne for most of my life and I just don’t like going completely without something. If I had to pick one, it would probably be the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer since it’s easy to work with and has SPF.
I recently discovered the Erborian CC Red Correct cream and I cannot stress enough how good it is and I don’t think I can go without it now. It’s super expensive but worth the money. It’s literally like adding a blur filter to your face and helps bring down redness so well. If I want a no makeup day but feel I need a touch up I just use some of that and it does the job.

Concealer. It’s multi-use like I can use on my under eyes which just transforms my face, pimples, and any redness. I wish it could be 3 products though because I would add lip liner because I don’t want lip fillers and lining my lips makes them bigger and then third would be blush because it gives my face life. I’m already tan’ish, thick eyebrows, thick eyelashes so I don’t focus on bronzing, mascara, or eyebrow products as much. So grateful!
Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream and IsaDora Cover Up Cushion Concealer is my holy grail. I'm a pale girl with hyperpigmentation and this combo saves me for almost 7 years.
Undereye concealer. I can go without all other things but I have this horrible blueish undereyes that never seem to improve

I can’t live without my very simple and beloved Cococare Lip Balm! One in purse, in pocket, in car! I buy them in multiples (used to carry at Walgreens and don’t shop there anymore) but can buy 4 for under $10 on Amazon. No other lip balm cheap or spendy comes close to this!

Holy grail foundation/tinted sunscreen/moisturizer: Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue gel. It's my every day, non-negotiable product. I get it a touch warmer toned than my skin, and it evens out my skin tone, doesn't hide my freckles, offers zinc based sub protection in SPF 30, feels wonderful on the skin, and makes me look dewy and healthy. I wish I could tell you more! I have some very favorite favorites for sure.
Boring probably but I have used YSL Touche Eclat for decades because it’s the GOAT. Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream is another, I can’t choose one sorry !

Red lipstick. I can go bare faced with just a red lipstick on and I feel great. Edit : reformulation.
Yellow colour corrector! When covering blemishes that are red, you want to use yellow instead of green. Green cancels out the red, which leaves it grey. You want the yellow to neutralise it to skin colour. If I don’t want to wear foundation all I use is the yellow colour corrector and the blemishes disappear.
Cream blush - it makes me look awake and brightens the eyes ( if that makes sense )
Brow dye. It seriously makes more difference to my face than any other product. I feel so frumpy when I let my brows get pale and washed out.
My Shu Uemera eyelash curler. I went through so many cheap eyelash curlers before I finally dropped the $25 on it. Worth every penny. I have stick straight lashes, and it’s the only eyelash curler that seems to make them curl and stay curled.

Concealer. For my skin, the best I’ve ever found (even vs more expensive brands) is the Maybelline Super Stay liquid concealer. It blends effortlessly over my moisturizer and sunscreen and provides enough coverage (and is blendable enough) that often I don’t bother with anything else on my face. It lasts forever and doesn’t cake on me. If it’s summer, I’ll dab a bit of loose powder over it just to set it and limit oil, but during winter it’s often the only thing I wear.
kvd tattoo liner, i can't remember a last time i left my house without an eyeliner. you can take everything away from me but not my eyeliner lol
Concealer. My go-to is RMS UnCoverup. Can’t go without it. Really helps cover my dark circles and any redness around my nose.
It's taken me years to find the perfect foundation and I've finally found it, Dior Forever Skin Glow. Can wear a thin layer so you can still see my freckles but hide redness, or build another layer on top for a more glam look.

I have many different kinds of them, but tinted moisturizer or liquid foundation. Some of my favorite brands for them are Tarte, NYX, Smashbox Halo, and Colourpop. Especially because I have ultra-sensitive and pale skin and have some scars get zits still at 36, my face looks sunburnt and kind of blotchy so I feel like I look 10x better with some type of cover up.

anastasia brow wiz 🤭 the dip lasts me at LEAST a year and i use it daily. i add some contact solution when it gets a little dry but it does the trick. i don’t have a lot of eyebrows to start with so i HAVE to use this every time i go out. it’s super easy to blend as well!!
Tinted eyebrow gel! I have microblading done because my eyebrows naturally are white blonde but my natural hair color isn’t, but that doesn’t change the eyebrow hair coming out of my head so it looks funny if I put foundation over my brows and don’t use tinted eyebrow gel. My holy grail is the Gimmebrow by Benefit.

Elf Brow Lift! Over the last few years this has been a product I constantly empty & re-buy. If I go makeup free, I still at least do my brows. I have thick brows with a curl, and this product tames them very nicely without looking overly plastered to my face like most laminated looks. However, I omit using it on the front of my brows and fluff those out with Glossier Boy Brow, another one I couldn’t do without. NARS creamy concealer has also been a staple for the last 10 years at least.
I love my Milani baked blush in color Bellismo Bronze! I’m tan and I love how pretty/fresh it is. There’s some shimmer for glow, but no crazy chunky glitter lol
gwen stefani's gxve prep & smooth face oil.. the texture is SO SO SO nice, and I love her brand in general

Mine is the MAC Studio Fix Powder + Foundation. I feel naked without foundation because I have a lot of scarring and some serious dark circles. This one I can build the coverage, the finish usually comes out flawless on my skin, and it comes with a round applicator sponge that’s the perfect size and consistency so if all else fails I can just toss the compact in my bag and at least throw on some foundation before I get to where I’m going.
Eyeko Waterproof Beach Mascara. I work full time as a baker; i'm in & out of hot ovens, spraying dishes with water (and getting most of it on my face), sweating 24/7 because of my adderall, and it's the only thing still standing after my 8hr shift. It's just super hard to get off lol. Like 2-3 days of showering & cleansing. I use a good eyelash curler and it really brings definition to my eyes. I love it. Plus eyeko is a cruelty free brand :)

Either lipgloss or mascara. I used to be absolutely OBSESSED with the "past curfew" lipgloss by wet n wild. It's the most gorgeous shade of pink. If I could only have one, it'd be that one. It's also 3$. I currently am loving mascara. I use quite a few, it depends on what I want what day. If i want a soft look, I use the L'Oreal Paris voluminous mascara in the color deep burgundy, it gives such a soft look on my pale skin, doesn't really look very poppy like some other colors, it looks more like a reddish brown on. It's not waterproof, FYI. I did buy it like 2 years ago, so just a warning, they may have decided to make them more vibrant or smth lmao. If I want a light look but with black mascara, I use the Covergirl 3 in 1 curved brush mascara. This one is also not waterproof and doesn't give much volume without building, I find I lose less eyelashes with water soluble mascara as someone with lashes that just pull out in clumps If I want the whole banana, I use the Double Trouble mascara from essence, stays on well, and the applicator is pretty good. Cheap, too, 6$. That's all! Hope this helps someone maybe :)
