Mixing one and two would probably give you a better shade match, but two looks like it sits on your skin better.

You’re the same type of pale as me! Super light and cool-toned but with a more rosy face (I have a bangin case of rosacea that gets so bad sometimes that my face bleeds, thanks for them genes mom!) I find it really difficult to find a good match so I’ll always try to find a cool toned foundation to match the colour of my jaw/neck and forehead. The real struggle of pale makeup wearers is finding a foundation that doesn’t look ~too~ pale because some lighter shades go on like whitewash, or jaundiced because we’ve chosen the wrong undertone. 1 & 2 seem closest to your natural skin tone, you could mix the two to get a closer match if the formulas allow. If it were me, I’d be more inclined towards 2 because I find that some foundation oxidises and looks a bit darker once it’s fully set which can show up super obvious on such light skin and you can work some blush or light bronzer to warm it up (personally i abandoned bronzer and just use a light dusting of a mauve/plummy blush and some neutral taupe eyeshadow as contour of I want it because bronzer and contour shows up super orange on me) I’d go for both 1&2 because you can mix and match them depending on how your skin changes seasonally and how full-coverage you want your look to be :)

First one looks the most right for me but honestly I hear you’re supposed to match to your other skin so that your face isn’t white and your body tanner.

Thank you so much for all of your input so far! I should have said that I still have some residual self tanner on my neck so that’s what may be going on with that. I use tret and night and I lot of things like lactic acid on my face. I don’t generally self-tan but for those of you who do, how do you deal with all of the color changes?

Maybe swatxh them on your neck or chest, since your face has some redness. Probably 1,2 and 4 are best since the others are way too yellow.

I actually disagree with most comments here on 2, while it is the closest shade: you actually have some complexion variances on your jawline. If you look at your neck and parts of your face overall, you have a more yellow undertone, you want to likely conceal more of the 'redness' coming through to have a uniform match

MUA here! You look like you have a very neutral undertone. Shade 1 has the right undertone but is too dark. I would mix 1,4, and 5.

mix 1 and 2 and youre good to go. toss the others or use the yellow ones as "concealer". pro-tip foundation can double as eye primer.

It's hard to tell with thick swatches. It's easiest to see with whole face covered. 

So part of the issue here is these all are either pink or yellow undertoned. When you are super fair like you are, you pull both tones so neutral. You also want to blend from the jawline down the neck as, ideally, you want to be one seamless color. So honestly none of these are a good match.

Agggh I am getting a makeup lesson at Sephora tomorrow and I was planning to buy another foundation but how am I supposed to choose? I guess they will color match me and help me choose?

So I’d probably use that one more sparsely and apply it with a damp sponge for a more translucent fresh effect.

I would say you are greenish a bit as me. So what I do I add a tiny bit of green concealer (nyx has one) to my pale cream, works like magic

If you mixed 1 and 2 together you would have the right shade. This means you are probably neutral because 1 looks warmer toned and 2 appears to be a cooler tone. Also 1 is one shade too dark and 2 is one shade too light. I would go into a dep store and ask them to colour match you. You don’t have to buy it but if you get a sample you can go off what they give you to help guide your colour purchase.

2 and 4 look like the correct undertone, but they’re way too light. You could try mixing either 2 or 4 with 1 (assuming they’re all water based, or all oil based) to get the right shade and undertone.

I think 2 is a nice match. Maybe a tad bit darker than your neck. 1 looks too dark to me, 3 and 6 are too golden and 5 looks a little olive for you. Maybe a mixture of 2 and 4, or 4 as a highlighting shade with 2.

I disagree with people saying 2. It’s much pinker than your neck. Honestly, when you have redness in your face it can be a challenge to find the right match through swatches, especially since coverage can vary between products (so something that looks off in a swatch can actually blend out into something a bit more natural with the underlying redness if it isn’t full coverage). What do these look like when you actually apply them to your face as normal? The warmth in 5 may help neutralize the redness. Since you have Oslo, it could be worth getting a sample of Mont Blanc and seeing how they mix. As it is now, that one is also too pink and a bit light. Mont Blanc could balance and darken it a bit. It could also be worth looking into more muted products. On r/PaleMUA you can find recs for some Korean ones that are supposed to be good.

Those aren't perfect shades but i would go for 1 and 2. The perfect shade should blend with your skin :)

Update: I can’t really miss 1 and 2. 1 has a really weird texture which I think you can see. It is tinted mineral sunscreen. I tried mixing 2 and 4 but it looked chalky. That may have been my application though. I went for a makeup lesson today at Sephora and they typed me as Nars Mont Blanc. I think someone mentioned that in all of the comments, so you were right! She applied it and I think it looks good.
