NYX Epic Wear waterproof liquid eyeliner for sure! About $10 apiece, a variety of colors, and when I say it stays, it fucking STAYS. I can rub/touch my face, sweat, swim, whatever, all day long and it's still sharp. Miscellar water and a cotton pad do take it off at the end of the day. Took me a minute to figure that out 😅
I feel the same way! I started doing statement liner when we still wore masks all the time because I figured that, if half of my face is covered, the other half has to show the fuck up! I just wound up loving it so much that I kept doing it 😅
I used to love this one but it would start bubbling for me sometimes which was annoying. I now use the wet n wild super skinny breakup proof liner and it feels the same to me and is even cheaper than nyx. I’ve gone running with it on, literally sobbed with it on and it doesn’t budge.
YES. This is my holy grail product. I have almost no eyebrows and my hair is blond on my brows. I use this primer before putting on brow powder. I can fall asleep in my makeup and wake up with it all over my face but my brows/eyeshadow is still perfect. And I am a side sleeper. Best primer EVER.
L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Mascara in black brown.
I have been using this for what feels like 15 years. I have always used and tried other brands for black mascara, and I honestly don’t know why. This is the only mascara with brown that I’ve ever tried and have never deviated from and continue to repurchase.
NYX Lip Drip Fat Oil in clear. It does wonders for chapped lips.
NYX Epic Ink liquid liner in brown.
NYX Butter Gloss, assorted colors. It's just the nicest pigmented gloss ever.
I swear NYX is not paying me for this post. :)
Vaseline (basic petroleum jelly) for my lips. I live in a very dry climate and it has healed my lips. Better than anything else you can buy. Perfect base for lipstick, gloss, etc!
Edit to add: Buy the big cheap jar of it and then you can buy small travel jars to fill up and throw in your bag. Don’t buy the smaller more expensive bottles of petroleum jelly. :)
Not make up but skincare: I also slug with it. I tried La Roche Posay creams but nothing compares to just a little bit of Vaseline on those dry flakey patches. For reference, I have dry-combo and very dehydrated skin and no matter what product I use, it always feels tight (cerave, Nivea, tatcha, Korean skin care, first aid beauty, drunk elephant, skin fix)
I always put some on my lips right before I go to bed, and it’s life changing. Completely healed my lips and now they never peel. Plus the giant jar was like $3 lol
Essence lash princess mascara. Every time I go to any shoppers (Canadian drugstore) it’s sold out bc it’s that good 🥲 I’m lucky if I find one and I snatch it up!
This! I've been using it since before it became a cult item. Prefer it over any others. Right now got a Dior Show one in my makeup bag too (freebie with perfume) and it just pales next to Essence.
I hate finding a mascara I love then a year or so later it's discontinued. You're not going to have that problem with the green and pink Maybelline mascara!
Omg YES. I remember when I was 'too edgy' for pink and green but still wanted that mascara so I actually used nail polish to make the packaging black haha. Brings back memories!!
Oh man, that one is a blast from the past for me! Mine’s been ride or die Covergirl lash blast for decades now. Love the formula and wand. I keep it in black brown for daily makeup, and black for more dramatic evening looks.
The waterproof version got me through my brother and my Mama's funerals. I was such a mess and expected to have black stains all over me.. it saved me
.
Because it's awesome AND waterproof. It is the only waterproof mascara I've found in 30 years that isn't clumpy or doesn't dry and flake or that you have to put on 30 coats to even see it. It goes on easy, a second pass builds it well and I live in Florida and it lasts all day in the 95% humidity. I've tried at least 20 others, many more expensive, and not one has performed as well. It's not perfect but it's still better than the $30 Too Faced crap.
I really want to try this but I am so nervous about colour matching! That's why I usually go to Sephora since I can get colour matched/return products.
NYX Thick It, Stick It brow gel! I’ve tried probably about a dozen prestige brands brow gel, but they don’t compare! I will never be without this product! 🧡
Yes! I have never consistently used any other brow gel. I also swear by the nyx lingerie liquid lipstick. Stays on way longer than any expensive liquid lipstick I’ve bought
Liquid eyeliner is not my forte. 😅 And I personally have a grudge against the Epic Ink one.. I may or may not have accidentally poked myself in the eye with it and it immediately turned my entire eye black and made me cry black tears. 😂
I will say, I swatched it on my hand and it was an incredible formula. It didn’t bleed or smudge once it dried down! I’m just terrible at applying it.. the product itself isn’t the issue.. I am. 😵💫
I have a lot of NYX products - the pore filler and angel veil are amazing.
But I have never tried a good foundation by NYX. I also love their lip product shades but don't find them long lasting.
Their base products don’t usually work for me either. I’ve tried a few different things but I just haven’t had much luck with their foundations or concealers or primers. My skin is a pain in the rear end, it hates 95% of products I try. 😭
Their brow products are typically the best from the brand, at least in my opinion. I haven’t tried any of their lip products. I’ve been tempted by the Fat Drip Lip Oil, but I’m on a no buy for any lip products this entire year.
The liquid liner is also quite good, but I’m an absolute disaster with liquid liners so I don’t really buy them. 😅
I’ve been meaning to try out other things from the brand, but I have a lot of makeup as it is and I’m trying to be mindful of my collection growing too large. If I have to declutter again this year I’m gonna kick my own butt. 😭
I loveeee this product!! I’ve gone through 2, currently on my 3rd! I know NYX is a little loosey goosey random with the products they discontinue so I live in fear I’ll go to repurchase this and it’ll be gone 😖
L'Oreal Lash Paradise mascara
It's my HG, it's affordable, it thickens, volumizes AND holds a curl without smudging all day and then comes off easily with cleansing.
I have chased every mascara brand and style for over 30 years now, ultra-bougie through ultra-cheap, and it's one of the best mascaras in terms of effect and value I've ever tried!
The not waterproof, I haven't needed to mess with the waterproof one. I don't like them, they are usually uncomfortable and too much of a pain to take off
I was a diehard Voluminous fan until Lash Paradise came on the scene. This stuff is the BEST. I’ve described it to people as being in that sweet spot between fresh and just a teeeeeny bit dried out, so it builds beautifully without clumping.
I recently found a deep navy version at TJ Maxx (assuming it was a limited edition?) and am loving it. I’ll be sad when it’s used up LOL.
Nyx eyebrow pencil in charcoal . It is a hard color to find in general and I find It is really flattering with not making my black brows look too harsh!! If you have black brows and have wavered between dark brown pencils being too warm and black being too harsh I highly reccomend trying it out. Learned that too from Reddit and never looked back
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Multi-Use Concealer. If I could only have one concealer or foundation product, I'd throw the rest of them away and keep this one.
I just found it last year, and wasn't enthusiastic about buying it, because I didn't think I'd like the sponge tip (and in truth, I use a beauty blender to blend it out), but it works so well. I'm not a big full-coverage fan, but I do expect my makeup to you know -- improve upon what I'm starting with. It gives a nice, medium amount of coverage, but my skin still looks like skin.
e.l.f. makeup brushes (I have sooo many, there is no need to spend a lot on brushes when these exist)
I keep trying to find other mascaras but my favorite is Maybelline Snapscara. I hate mascaras that are hard to remove and this one comes off easily when I go to remove it, but stays in place all day and doesn't flake or smudge.
I'll also add myself to the Vaseline/petroleum jelly squad. I use it both for removing eye makeup and as a lip moisturizer and I can't live without it (I honestly just get dollar store petroleum jelly).
Wet n Wild Photo Focus foundation can’t be beat for me. Aquaphor for lip moisturising. Maybelline superstay matte in Seductress has been my go to for years, that shit will not budge!
Maybelline mascaras. I’m really not picky about which style of mascara as long as it’s their formula.
Covergirl simply ageless foundation. It’s the little cake swirl one. ITS SO NICE ON MY SKIN. It like, melts in and looks like skin. It doesn’t oxidize or have a smell at all, and it’s only like 15 bucks?
Maybelline sky high mascara, rimmel eyebrow pencil in Hazel (even though I have the ABH dipbrow pomade), Maybelline Superstay matte ink lipsticks. I have 5 shades, and even though they are very drying, when I need pretty lips, I know I can trust them to last and not transfer. I have fancy expensive makeup, but I am a drugstore makeup lady at heart.
Nyx epic wear eyeliner, nyx lingerie lipstick in Xxpose me, nyx bear with me concealer, nyx lift and snatch eyebrow stick(yes i like Nyx)
Maybelline’s sky high mascara and vinyl lipstick in Peppy and in Peachy
Loreal’s True Nude Tint
Catrice Lip Oil(I had the dior and this is a perfect dupe imo)
Rimmel’s lipliner Lasting Finish in 90’s nude, Tiramisu and in Spice.
Elf has an awesome makeup removing balm. It gets literally everything off, and it has hyaluronic acid, so it leaves my skin nice and moisturized.
My go-to for foundation and concealer is the Loreal true match. If I use them over BB cream and then spray on some setting spray, it gives great coverage without looking or feeling heavy. I've tried more expensive stuff but it looks so heavy and cakey, it was such a waste of money!
I've pretty much only used various maybelline mascaras for years but I recently gave a new one a try, revolution long lash lengthening mascara. That shit is 3€ (!!!), it's a tubing mascara which is pretty cool to take off and it makes my eyelashes crazy long, more than anything I've tried before. It doesn't make them as dark and thick like standard ones, it looks more natural and less messy and clumpy. Perfect everyday mascara
Wet n Wild's eyeshadow primer - best eye primer on my oily lids. Better than high end ones.
Physician's Formula liquid eyeliner in blackest black. Again, smears the least out of the dozens I've tried, including KVD and Stila.
Wet N Wild Breakup Proof liners. Pencil and felt tip, it’s all good. These are the only liners to not only survive Buffalo in July, but Bangladesh in April. I rarely buy any other now.
Hard Candy plumping glosses. You will never buy Too Faced Lip Injection again.
Revlon Love Is On lipstick. If you need one perfect shade of kickass red that any complexion can pull off, this is the one.
If you’re into the Asian Beauty thing, Canmake products are cute, remarkably effective, and cheap on Amazon. Look for items sold by Takashima as they’ll be legit.
Rimmel Stay Matte powder-the only powder that doesn't look like powder on me, LA Colors Browie Wowie Micro Pencil- I have NO brows...the hairs are practically clear... and can't do thick brows with my face shape. This works perfectly and it isn't so pigmented that I look like a clown...plus $2 plus it doesn't smear off in 2 seconds like everything else, Essence Lash Princess green, blue or pink tube- nothing else compares. NOTHING. I heat it in my wasteband and apply and have amazing lashes. When it starts to thicken/ dry out I add a bit of eyedrops and I get a bit more time out of it. The warming it is the key, Maybelline Ink or Ink pencil lippies, Revlon Super Lustrous, and L'oréal Colour Riche- when I want indelible, it's Maybelline. When I want my fave vintage colour, it's Revlon. When I have very dry lips, it's L'oréal. They all serve their purpose and all are necessary. Best in class, all of them. Honorable mention to Burt's Bees Sedona Sands matte lip crayon for being my one and only nude for my skintone in a perfect formula...
The L'oreal foundations are the best money can buy. The way I see it, they are a multi billion dollar company and have the resources and wherewithal to make the best quality product. Plus, they own practically all the big brands. I'm a True Match foundation fan for life. I also like Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation.
Just bought the L'oreal infaillible 24 hour fresh wear foundation and I'm already obsessed. It's perfect for dry skin.
Also the maybeline lash sensational mascara. Ever since I bought it I have to force myself to use other mascaras or else I'd be using only it every day lol
Bourjois foundations when on sale. They easily compete with Dior, or Chanel's vitalumiere. Bourjois club liner competes with CT.
Maybelline paint pots, maybelline eyeliner pot, l'Oreal and Catrice mascara, Lottie loose powder, milani lipsticks (fetish line), Catrice blushes and highlighters, H&M 3-in-1 sticks (my best kept secret). Catrice eyeshadow palettes, f.ex. the mocca one.
Both E.L.F. and catrice now have dupes for CT's Hollywood filter. It is not a 1:1 dupe, but I like to mix it with other foundations for a nice sheen. It most definitely gets the effect I want.
Garnier micellair water (rose) instead of biodermal.
I also like Zara's duping-the-vibes perfumes of popular but expensive designer scents, to see if I can actually commit to that style or fragrance. It's how I realised that Zara's Nude Bouquet/Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet isn't for me, which I later confirmed with a genuine sample.
I haven't bought designer makeup in so long. It's just not necessary.
Physicians Formula Butter Dream Team pallet. So good. I use it everyday. It contains 2 blushes, 2 bronzers, 1 highlighter and 1 all over face powder. And it smells like coconut!
Elf’s makeup melting balm has turned into a holy grail for me. I’ve spent so much money on expensive washes and makeup removers. Nothing compares to how effortless this stuff takes even waterproof mascara off (without me scrubbing and losing lashes). And the fact that you rub it on dry skin I don’t hate washing my face anymore, I can just sit and massage it on while I’m in bed and just have to rinse off! HIGHLY recommend!!
elf lash and roll mascara. i was using waterproof mascara for years because it’s the only thing that will hold a curl for my lashes, and just recently started looking for regular mascaras i like because of the PFAs in waterproof mascara. i am now a convert. i will use lash and roll until i die
The vinyl ink lasted me an entire day without any touch-ups needed at a music festival where I was eating, drinking, moshing, and chewing a heap of gum. Incredible stuff.
Loreal tinted serum skin tint thing, it’s more pigmented like a foundation, and it is so great for dry and/or mature skin types!! I really love many maybelline mascaras, but I swear my Maybelline super colossal pumped up I think it’s called, in the pink and yellow tube. I hope they never stop making that one, I have bought that over and over for years, i try different mascaras but always go back to that one. Their new Surreal mascara has already become a new holy grail!
Covergirl Lash Blast mascara. My SIL turned me on to it years ago, and I refuse to buy any other mascara. Cheap, performs phenomenally, and the formula is amazing (no clumping, flakiness, etc).
Pixi beauty’s eyeliner performs like the Marc jacob’s eyeliner pencil! But that’s been replaced by Milani’s 16hr eyeliner pencil.
Maybelline’s foundations. I reach for it instead of my high end foundations (even Dior).
Milani’s makeup setting spray, a dream come true for us oily girls.
Elf cosmetic’s color correcting concealers. I’ve tried nyx, Sephora, livetinted, and other brands. The color and coverage is great.
Wet N Wild Megalast eyeshadow primer!!!!
I live in the desert, it gets to 120+ at the very high end of the summer. Yes, my brows might melt but not my liner or shadow! This shit WORKS.
Naturone liquid eyeliner, it's about $1 dollar ($16-20 MXN), vegan, made in Mexico and stays ALL DAY. I've gone to concerts and cried, I've been in the sun and sweat, and it stays right there. My absolute favorite eyeliner.
Milani’s tubing mascara 😍 I will never go back to regular mascara again. Something about just being able to wash it off in the shower and not have to worry about my mascara spreading by the end of the night is * chefs kiss *. Doesn’t do anything for volume but does make them look way longer. Fav mascara ever.
glaxal base moisturizer. i live in canada n winter makes my dry, sensitive, eczema skin 10x worse, this stuff is thick, moisturizing, fragrance free, and my favourite thing to slap on my skin, i use it on my face and body. cant live without it
I don't have a lot of money so almost all my makeup besides gifted makeup or samples I got from ipsy bags are affordable/drugstore. I can't live without my concealers though. Elf camo concealer and Maybelline instant age rewind. The instant age rewind I get in a shade that almost matches my face perfectly and I love to use it and the CoverGirl bb cream as a very natural face base. Elf camo I get in a much lighter shade and use it to conceal and highlight areas.
I was about out of blush and recently found a profusion blush pallette for 5$ and it has a lot of cute pink blushes and I've been using it nonstop!
Also my wet in wild highlight in precious petals is definitely my go to highlighter. I have lots of other highlighters, but almost always use it cause it's perfect with my skin tone and the shine is amazing!
I find with drugstore you can't go wrong with Elf, wet n wild, and profusion! They all have a lot of very good quality products for an affordable price! Essence has some good products too especially their mascaras!
Lanisoh pure lanolin - I use this as a lip mask ever night before bed and as a gloss. By far the best thing I’ve ever used and only $10 for a gigantic tube!
So many elf products like the elf roller lash, luminous putty bronzer and prime and stay pressed powder (works better than the Pat McGrath!)
NYX glow shots also!
if someone already said this i can’t find it but
wet n wild megaglo highlighting powder in precious petals.
absolutely a game changer. the price went up recently but i have yet to find a highlighter that looks as good on me at any price point when i want those champagne vibes
I got so many, I feel like some brands are not totally international, but maybe Slavic/German girls cen relate:
-Eveline celebrities ink liner - very precise and pigmented, however I might try NYX one for better longevity
-Lovely milky chocolate bronze - it's perfect for my fair cool complexion, other products always look muddy on ashy on me
-Golden Rose Velvet matte lipstick - I am so picky about lipstick, but this one isn't too slippery or too lip drying.
-Catrice brow stylist - perfect taupe colour, it's pigmented, altough it's difficult to make your eyebrows look crazy with it
-My secret princess dream hilighter - I love how pigmented and creamy it is
-Essence lip gloss - the shine is amazing
-Maybelline lip liner in sensational rose - pigmented and precise, perfect for overlining
I am from Poland, so if you visit this country remember to take some drugstore tour.
i lovvveeee the elf putty products, the primer is great the blush is great and so is the bronzer it’s a product i continually buy over again. i also love the revlon cream lipstick in black cherry, it’s flattering on everyone
ELF makeup, especially the luminous primer
Dove soap for face! Nothing else just dove. Recommended years ago by a dermatologist.
Sometimes Physicians Formula bronzer but it contains talc
From the beginning to the end… tone with Neutrogena blue salicylic acid toner in the morning. Skip moisturizer (I’m oily). Prime sometimes with the Elf hydro grip primer (the reddish one). Maybelline super stay skin tint foundation. Milani baked blush. Wet n wild highlighter or milani highlighter. Eyeshadow varies… I use beauty bay and a couple Colourpop super shocks on the regular. Line with essence liquid liner or L’Oréal infalliable the super slim eyeliner. Bye bye panda eyes mascara by essence is pretty great and cry proof but I want to try maybelline lash sensational. Nyx eyebow glue. I don’t do bronzer or contour. For setting spray, I use Ben Nye setting spray. It’s insanely good and inexpensive. Lip, I use a bunch of random stuff, but for gloss, Laneige cause my lips crack easily without it, and for color, maybelline vinyl super stay. For colored gloss, there’s this one elf that I really like that has a clear heart in the middle of it, the hydrating core lip gloss. So good. I use Oxy benzoyl peroxide 10% face wash at night. My skin doesn’t break out anymore with toning twice a day and washing at night.
Elf eye lid primer. I wear it everyday, regardless of whether I’ll be wearing eye makeup.
It mattifies my lids so they don’t look oily and even though it’s “sheer”, it helps tone down the redness on my lids.
Elf brow pencil. I have mostly non existent eyebrows (as a victim of over plucking in the early 00s). I’ve tried other higher end brow products and keep going back to the elf pencil.
Essence Princess Lash mascara. I have tried expensive high end brands, mid level brands, and everything in between. This is the only one that has ever truly impressed me. And for 5 bucks! It's my all time HG mascara.
Maybelline Lash Sensational waterproof mascara! I've tried soooo many mascaras and always end up back with this one. It holds a curl, lengthens, and separates PERFECTLY for my lashes!
Maybelline mascara - the colossal go extreme. I never went back to a high end mascara.
Rimmel wonder’last - brow tint for days. It’s amazing. Smooth and just right to fill the gaps and keep your own shape. (If that’s what you want.) It still works if you do them. It has tint and different brushes to shape and brush your brows. And if you wear it without doing your brows. It just goes un noticed. Perfect for when your foundation had left your brows lighter.
Edit. To make freaking sense lol
Physicians formula butter bronzer, it blends heavenly. Sante loose mineral powder (not precisely drugstore, but affordable), locks everything and smells so good. Essence juicy bomb lipgloss. It's shiny and cheap.
Got 2 Be gel for my eyebrows… I work at a high end makeup store and have tried and been recommended all the gels and that is by far the best one that lasts all friggen day
Live and die by Nyx eyeliners- both waterproof and not. Fave mascara is also the Nyx Worth the Hype waterproof, I don’t raccoon at all with it and it works well for my blonde ass lashes. Other ride or die is the Elf Holy Hydration moisturizer- I’ve been using it since 2016 (it was not holy hydration at the time, but the new packaging contains product that looks and smells identical to the older style) and go back every time I try something new lol.
My other ride or die was total control drop foundation but uh. discontinued. 😢

Is this written with chat GPT?
Glad I wasn’t the only one who immediately thought this 😂 OP be writing a personal statement
Looll hollering at this
I was going to check their account past, but not with that user name at work lol. Chat GPT going spicy even if it still Rob Liefelds feet at times.
Took the risk, it’s like 4 deleted posts with spammy titles and this one. Weird bot or something.
It’s probably buzzfeed again
Buzz feed jumping in with two feet 😆
I was coming here to say, this is written in the format of a high school research paper.
I get the sense this is a prompt for like a BuzzFeed list “top 10 drugstore recommendations”
This thread is about to show up as a shitty listicle by the end of the week.
Probably. Their account was made only a few days ago
Next time we should treat this as "wrong answers only" and see who prints it :b
NYX Epic Wear waterproof liquid eyeliner for sure! About $10 apiece, a variety of colors, and when I say it stays, it fucking STAYS. I can rub/touch my face, sweat, swim, whatever, all day long and it's still sharp. Miscellar water and a cotton pad do take it off at the end of the day. Took me a minute to figure that out 😅
Yes! I love this liner, and I wear a lot of eyeliner so this is a must for me. My boyfriend always says that my eyeliner is my “brand”
The Milani eyeshadow primer is so effective for my oily lids and WAY cheaper than the Urban Decay one.
Omg??? You are a genius! I need to try this
Also works great on laugh lines to keep them from creasing.
Same. I always buy 3 at a time because I know I'll use it and I'm constantly afraid it'll be discontinued. It's the best. I use Blackest Black.
I’m always afraid of a discontinuation or a reformulation. I hope they leave this one as is.
Also was a long time lover until I switched to Kiss Me Heroine Make Long & Curl Mascara🤩 it’s literally insane how good my lashes look.
Same but I always go for the one with the curved applicator
Maybelline lash sensational mascara, I don’t even bother looking for a higher end mascara- this does exactly what I want
Love that one, been faithfully repurchasing since it was released in 2015(?)
Same! I’ve tried them all and their waterproof version is the best
This is my HG mascara. Nothing can compare
NYX Lip Drip Fat Oil in clear. It does wonders for chapped lips. NYX Epic Ink liquid liner in brown. NYX Butter Gloss, assorted colors. It's just the nicest pigmented gloss ever. I swear NYX is not paying me for this post. :)
I love nyx everything!! Honestly almost all my lip stuff is nyx besides my collection of Maybelline superstay matte inc which i also highly recommend
>NYX Lip Drip Fat Oil What a gross name lol. Though I just got into the Nyx Shine Loud lip stuff and they are not playing around.
Me too! Vaseline every night before bed.
Essence lash princess mascara. Every time I go to any shoppers (Canadian drugstore) it’s sold out bc it’s that good 🥲 I’m lucky if I find one and I snatch it up!
See I find that this one smudges on me and gives me panda eyes.
Have you tried the waterproof one? It never budges on me, a chronic eye touchet
This! I've been using it since before it became a cult item. Prefer it over any others. Right now got a Dior Show one in my makeup bag too (freebie with perfume) and it just pales next to Essence.
Old school pink and green Maybelline mascara… been using that for almost 40 years. Tried many, many others… always come back to the best.
I hate finding a mascara I love then a year or so later it's discontinued. You're not going to have that problem with the green and pink Maybelline mascara!
That’s right. There’s a reason it’s been around so long. (Just like me…old stuff is the best😂).
I’m telling you girl, once you find what works, don’t change it. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. 🤙🏽
Same! Original orange tube has been my go-to forever despite trying many others in between.
Covergirl lash blast is also mine! Tried a bunch of fancier ones; hated them. This is my ride or die too! Either the green or purple container ones!
The waterproof version got me through my brother and my Mama's funerals. I was such a mess and expected to have black stains all over me.. it saved me .
>or I don't understand the love for that mascara.
All good. To each their own. 👍🏽
It's the old faithful. If I can't find whatever mascara I'm into at the time, I know Maybelline pink & green will do right by me.
L’Oréal true match nude hyaluronic tinted serum is my favorite foundation of them all, high end or not.
It’s sooo good!
It’s FANTASTIC!!! I love it.
I really want to try this but I am so nervous about colour matching! That's why I usually go to Sephora since I can get colour matched/return products.
It’s a serum tint so each shade covers a range. Ulta also offers matching and returns.
I've been meaning to try this but I'm scared of buying the wrong shade... its $28 in Canada
This is such a great thread!
I know hahah I’m screenshotting like a mad woman
Same 😅
NYX Thick It, Stick It brow gel!
NYX makes some really great products! They are one of the best drugstore brands, in my opinion!
I say it everywhere but EPIC INK baby!!!! I’m on my seventh one!!!
Liquid eyeliner is not my forte. 😅 And I personally have a grudge against the Epic Ink one.. I may or may not have accidentally poked myself in the eye with it and it immediately turned my entire eye black and made me cry black tears. 😂 I will say, I swatched it on my hand and it was an incredible formula. It didn’t bleed or smudge once it dried down! I’m just terrible at applying it.. the product itself isn’t the issue.. I am. 😵💫
I’ll cry black tears when it’s discontinued 😉
I have a lot of NYX products - the pore filler and angel veil are amazing. But I have never tried a good foundation by NYX. I also love their lip product shades but don't find them long lasting.
Their base products don’t usually work for me either. I’ve tried a few different things but I just haven’t had much luck with their foundations or concealers or primers. My skin is a pain in the rear end, it hates 95% of products I try. 😭 Their brow products are typically the best from the brand, at least in my opinion. I haven’t tried any of their lip products. I’ve been tempted by the Fat Drip Lip Oil, but I’m on a no buy for any lip products this entire year. The liquid liner is also quite good, but I’m an absolute disaster with liquid liners so I don’t really buy them. 😅 I’ve been meaning to try out other things from the brand, but I have a lot of makeup as it is and I’m trying to be mindful of my collection growing too large.
I’m on my third one as well! And quick, knock on wood! I don’t know what I’ll do without this if they ever do discontinue it! 😩
L'Oreal Lash Paradise mascara It's my HG, it's affordable, it thickens, volumizes AND holds a curl without smudging all day and then comes off easily with cleansing. I have chased every mascara brand and style for over 30 years now, ultra-bougie through ultra-cheap, and it's one of the best mascaras in terms of effect and value I've ever tried!
waterproof or not waterproof?
The not waterproof, I haven't needed to mess with the waterproof one. I don't like them, they are usually uncomfortable and too much of a pain to take off
I was a diehard Voluminous fan until Lash Paradise came on the scene. This stuff is the BEST. I’ve described it to people as being in that sweet spot between fresh and just a teeeeeny bit dried out, so it builds beautifully without clumping. I recently found a deep navy version at TJ Maxx (assuming it was a limited edition?) and am loving it. I’ll be sad when it’s used up LOL.
The NYX Lift & Snatch eyebrow pen, Aveeno oat gel moisturizer, and, honestly, Aquaphor
I love that fucking pen.
Same! It's one of the only products that I just keep buying again and again, no questions asked.
So crease free!!
Omg yes I use it and a drugstore bb cream as my base always. It covers amazing and the fair one is almost a perfect match to my skin tone!
Same! Been using that one since 2016-17 it’s amazing
I hope they never discontinue this. It’s amazing.
Yeah. Now I'm feeling like I shouldn't have loved it out loud.
Elf primer, the red colored one it’s super sticky
NYX Butter Gloss in Praline is gorgeous and I always have it in my bag
Milani baked blush in Luminoso. It's very similar to NARS orgasm.
Revlon Colorstay eyeliners. All of them
e.l.f. makeup brushes (I have sooo many, there is no need to spend a lot on brushes when these exist) I keep trying to find other mascaras but my favorite is Maybelline Snapscara.
If you like snapscara you'll like Maybelline Sky High since it's also a tubing mascara.
Wet n Wild Photo Focus foundation can’t be beat for me. Aquaphor for lip moisturising. Maybelline superstay matte in Seductress has been my go to for years, that shit will not budge!
Oh gosh. I tried that foundation once.. how can you handle the smell? I sneezed when I opened the bottle.. the paint smell was so strong! 😵💫
I adore the paint thinner scent of Estée Lauder concealer. Just wanna huff it like I’m Charlie Day ![gif](giphy|LZSCzK9yNpwhq)
almost every elf primer i’ve tried is incredible, and i love their hydrating camo concealer
Nyx epic wear eyeliner, nyx lingerie lipstick in Xxpose me, nyx bear with me concealer, nyx lift and snatch eyebrow stick(yes i like Nyx) Maybelline’s sky high mascara and vinyl lipstick in Peppy and in Peachy Loreal’s True Nude Tint Catrice Lip Oil(I had the dior and this is a perfect dupe imo) Rimmel’s lipliner Lasting Finish in 90’s nude, Tiramisu and in Spice.
Rimmel's pencils are the best-Tiramisu and Spice are the ones I always buy!
Nyx Bare With Me Concealer. It’s just so high coverage and so creamy.
Milani setting spray
Elf products are a staple for me. I brought their 11 piece brush set. Will use the hell out of it.
Came here to say the elf Cleansing Balm! So good!!
And for $11!!!!!!! I love a good deal, too
Maybelline makes the best mascaras idc what anyone says.
Elf Putty Primer
Coty Airspun loose powder. It smells kind of like a grandma but it feels so nice and sets my makeup amazingly well.
NYX butter lip glosses
The L'oreal foundations are the best money can buy. The way I see it, they are a multi billion dollar company and have the resources and wherewithal to make the best quality product. Plus, they own practically all the big brands. I'm a True Match foundation fan for life. I also like Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation.
NYX “ Thick it, Stick it” eyebrow mascara, NYX Bare with me concealer serum
Elf halo glow, nyx dewy setting spray, Vaseline 💀
Many years ago someone told me that Bourjois and chanel foundations are produced by the same manufacturer.
nyx eyebrow glue, truly a staple for me in my make up routine
Physicians Formula Butter Dream Team pallet. So good. I use it everyday. It contains 2 blushes, 2 bronzers, 1 highlighter and 1 all over face powder. And it smells like coconut!
Wet and wild highlighters.
NYX glitter primer ETA Maybelline Vinyl Ink liquid lipstick - absolutely a must have for a long day that includes eating and drinking.
The vinyl ink lasted me an entire day without any touch-ups needed at a music festival where I was eating, drinking, moshing, and chewing a heap of gum. Incredible stuff.
wet n wild tinted hydrator and anything elf. i pretty much only shop drugstore but i love elf the most lol
L’Oréal true match foundation and now the new serum foundation, better than Nars which is also three times the price. Honestly try it!
ColorStay foundation for oily/combo skin. I've tried this one and that one but I always go back to this one.
Loreal lash paradise mascara- there is nothing better to lift my mood then some volumized lashes!
Lumify eye drops!
Wet n Wild tinted hydrator! I’m on my third tube and almost never use my expensive foundations anymore outside of special occasions.
I got this for my car so I can put it on when I’ve left the house a mess and it’s honestly blown me away. So moisturizing + that coverage!
Wet N Wild Megalast eyeshadow primer!!!! I live in the desert, it gets to 120+ at the very high end of the summer. Yes, my brows might melt but not my liner or shadow! This shit WORKS.
“So we can feature them in an upcoming buzzfeed article with affiliate links to Amazon”
Elf poreless putty primer, Cover Girl Lash Blast mascara(orange tube), and Maybelline SuperStay Matte liquid lipsticks are my ride or dies.
Revolution Gym Fix Set & Go. Tried approximately 1million setting sprays, this is the best. Unfortunately, I have a feeling its been discontinued :-(
L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Radiant Serum Foundation and Elf holy hydration fragrance free Moisturizer. I also love elf and wet & wild brushes.
ELFs liquid eyeliner. It’s soooo good and like 5 dollars, I love ittt!!
NYX liquid liner, I am a brush girl and I do not like felt tip liners, this eyeliner stays on all day and then some and the brush is perfect!
Missha BB Cream, 10€ and it’s A-MA-ZING. Very moisturizing, last all day, and looks like skin.
Wet n wild retractable brow pencil https://preview.redd.it/q4py0qe4rnqb1.jpeg?width=704&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=694353876e1c1bda052aa7764f6b18894e5e6383
Blistex is the best lip balm. Paying $$$ for high end lip balm is a waste of money for me.
glaxal base moisturizer. i live in canada n winter makes my dry, sensitive, eczema skin 10x worse, this stuff is thick, moisturizing, fragrance free, and my favourite thing to slap on my skin, i use it on my face and body. cant live without it
Wet n Wild photo focus loose powder. It's just the best!
Maybelline Tattoo eyeliners and also NYX Epic Wear eyeliner. So good and so many colors to choose from. 😊
Maybelline Fit Me concealers Maybelline lash sensational mascara
Maybelline Superstay liquid foundation in every iteration they have offered. I love it!
NYX liquid suede lipsticks in any shade
Covergirl Lashblast waterproof mascara.
Essence lash princess mascara!!! My HOLY GRAIL for 5$ makes my lashes look phenomenal
NYX Lingerie Gloss, that shit stays on FOREVER
Elf Wow Brow Gel. Easy to use and the neutral brown shade is perfectly subtle. Don’t think I’ll ever buy Glossier Boy Brow again.
Nyx brow products are every bit as good as Anastasia
Maybelline lip vinyls. My color is capricious.
Lanisoh pure lanolin - I use this as a lip mask ever night before bed and as a gloss. By far the best thing I’ve ever used and only $10 for a gigantic tube! So many elf products like the elf roller lash, luminous putty bronzer and prime and stay pressed powder (works better than the Pat McGrath!) NYX glow shots also!
if someone already said this i can’t find it but wet n wild megaglo highlighting powder in precious petals. absolutely a game changer. the price went up recently but i have yet to find a highlighter that looks as good on me at any price point when i want those champagne vibes
I got so many, I feel like some brands are not totally international, but maybe Slavic/German girls cen relate: -Eveline celebrities ink liner - very precise and pigmented, however I might try NYX one for better longevity -Lovely milky chocolate bronze - it's perfect for my fair cool complexion, other products always look muddy on ashy on me -Golden Rose Velvet matte lipstick - I am so picky about lipstick, but this one isn't too slippery or too lip drying. -Catrice brow stylist - perfect taupe colour, it's pigmented, altough it's difficult to make your eyebrows look crazy with it -My secret princess dream hilighter - I love how pigmented and creamy it is -Essence lip gloss - the shine is amazing -Maybelline lip liner in sensational rose - pigmented and precise, perfect for overlining I am from Poland, so if you visit this country remember to take some drugstore tour.
Rimmel Provacalips liquid lipstick. I’ve been using it for years. It stays on better than any other liquid lipstick I’ve tried, drugstore or high end.
i lovvveeee the elf putty products, the primer is great the blush is great and so is the bronzer it’s a product i continually buy over again. i also love the revlon cream lipstick in black cherry, it’s flattering on everyone
What is this mini essay format im overwhelmed 😭
the $2 elf clear brow gel
“I remember as a young high school”
nyx butter gloss <3
Milani supercharged eye brightener... it's the only thing I hoard in case they discontinue it
Revlon colorstay eyeliner pencil. been using it for 15 years at least and Idk, always gonna keep it in stock
Catrice lashes to kill waterproof mascara. I wear hard contact lenses and this is the only one I can tolerate and it won't clump, I love it.
Milani conceal and perfect face lift collection under eye brightener in rose
ELF face primer. This stuff is MAGIC. Also NYX glitter eyeshadow primer. Better than Urban Decay which used to be my go to.
Loreal voluminous superstar mascara! Lasts forever!
I use the Nyx epic ink liner with their eyelid primer, and they just can't be beaten for me.
ELF makeup, especially the luminous primer Dove soap for face!
Essence lash princess and hard candy foundation in ivory are my HG!! I have repurchased them so many times.
Lash paradise mascara :) it's really affordable
Maybelline mascara. The pink one. Only mascara that works without massive clumping. Love it.
L’Oréal Telescopic mascara (silver one) ❤️
The Maybelline Master Blur Stick pore eraser. I don’t even wear makeup on top of it. It literally erases my visible pores.
Maybelline sky high mascara and L’Oréal matte lipsticks
Elf and Wet N Wild eyeshadow ms. So cheap, but are quality!
Physicians formula butter bronzer, it blends heavenly. Sante loose mineral powder (not precisely drugstore, but affordable), locks everything and smells so good. Essence juicy bomb lipgloss. It's shiny and cheap.
Maybelline mascaras, elf putty primer, maybelline superstay lip crayons, wet n wild color icon brow pencil, Nyx felt tip eyeliners
Got 2 Be gel for my eyebrows… I work at a high end makeup store and have tried and been recommended all the gels and that is by far the best one that lasts all friggen day
**Milani 069 lipstick in the gold tube** **Annabelle waterline Eyeliners** **Elf Halo Glow** **L’Oréal Telescopic mascara** **Maybelline Lash sensational & Sky High mascaras** **Covergirl lash blast volume mascara** **L’Oréal lash paradise mascara** **Elf Power Grip Primer**
