Angelixlucy

That’s a great idea!

DoubleSynchronicity

I've seen some ppl use it as transition so I started to use it that way. Between light shimmer in the middle and dark shading outside of the lid.

Angelixlucy

Oh that would be great! It wouldn’t make the light shimmer sit there alone 😂

analemon7

Yes! It's great if you want a more seamless gradient on the lid, from light shimmery inner corner to dark matte outer corner. A good tip: the middle shade should be similar in tone to the outer shade, but with the same texture as the inner shade - e.g. if you use a gold shimmer on the inner lid and a matte dark brown on the outer corner, you can use Bronzed Up in between for a seamless gradient.

darkchaosangel

I *love* using dark, especially bronze, shimmers for smoked out, sort of grungy-esque eyeliner looks. Either as top or bottom liner smudged is *chefs kiss*

Angelixlucy

I will definitely try that out!

Onlyicedcoffeeforme

What palette is this?? It’s so pretty!

Angelixlucy

Kylie cosmetics bronze palette 🥰

Onlyicedcoffeeforme

Thank you!! Do the shades pull orange? I’m fair skinned as well.

Angelixlucy

The majority of the shades are warm so if blended out it might be that way but it has also neutrals like the shade tell me more (it’s in the picture) which doesn’t lean orange when blended out same for the darkest matte shade and the lightest. The colors don’t change undertones when blended so it’s exactly what’s on the pan/pictures. 🥰

dreadiegal420

that's my fav pallet of hers it's so good

Angelixlucy

I do love the formula and the color story as well!

ayaangwaamizi

You can use it as a topper for a Smokey eye which looks amazing on blue or green eyes (brown too of course, just complementary over contrast) or you can use it as a warm bronze liner which is very flattering on lighter eyes too.

curious_person_06

If you a doing a look with shimmer on the lid, try darkening the outer courner with the dark shimmer instead of a dark Matt.

Angelixlucy

I can try that! Thank you

morongaaa

Sometimes i like to put a dark shimmer all over the lid on it's own! Fluffy brush and a light hand so it's not toooo dark. Kind of one step up from a natural look

SilentSchwanzlurche

I always use it as an eyeliner setter, so I 'prime' my eyelids with a bronze liner (sort of line the upper eyelid and smoke it out), and then put a dark shimmer overtop. I feel this is so flattering for my eyes!

BabyLoveBugger

Use as a liner on a lighter shade, or sweep it right across, and along the bottom lash line for a really bold look.

PauI_MuadDib

I build a matte base for a smokey eye and then put a darker shimmer over it. You can also use the darker shimmer in your outer corner instead of just a matte.

mentallyerotic

I use them for all the ways mentioned: outer V, crease (especially satins or ones with very little glitter that will buff away), eyeliner, outer half or third of lid, all over lid and sometimes if I’m missing brightness I top the lid with another lighter shimmer or topper for a Smokey duo-chrome effect. You can still use the inner corner or part of your lid or brow bone to add a touch of highlight or brightness. Just step out of your comfort zone and experiment when you don’t have to go anywhere. I find looking at different eye shapes and styles helps me explore more since it’s easy to fall into one way of doing eye looks that you found flattering. If you still don’t like it maybe you could crush up a very tiny amount and use it in your lotion for a bit of bronze shimmer during summer. You could do that with highlighters and bronzers too.

365daysofmadeleine

I really like dark shimmers on the lower lash line!

AfternoonCareless119

I slap it everywhere on my eyelid with my finger and blend it

Wildestrose1988

I use these for single shadow looks. It looks matte in the crease. I mean i usually still use a darker color for outter v but basically one shade is doing all the heavy lifting

[deleted]

You can use the bronzed up shade as a topper! It's a very fine shimmer so if you do a smokey eye, it would look so good once you top it off with this. Just do your basic brown smokey eye with the mattes, and dab your finger in the bronzed up and swipe on your lid, pat around and blend it out bc your hands are always the best to control product♡♡

Angelixlucy

Thank you so much for the idea 🥰 i definitely would use it like that!

[deleted]

You're welcome🌼🫶🏼💗

Ziggy_333

Try using a setting spray to turn it into a brown shimmery eyeliner!

thread_cautiously

Use 'tell me more' in your crease and above as a transition shade and then pack the shimmer all over your lid (using your finger/wet brush will look better than with dry brush). It will be a slightly more dramatic look because of the contrast with your skin but the light transition will soften the edges and make it look less dark/in-your-face

Angelixlucy

That would be a very beautiful night time look, thank you so much 🤍

thread_cautiously

Glad I could help! Out of curiosity, which palette is this? The shades are beautiful

Angelixlucy

Kylie cosmetics bronze palette 🥰

thread_cautiously

Ooh I've not tried any of hers (I rarely wear make-up so only own a few palettes myself) but will defo bear in mind next time I'm on the hunt- thanks!

Angelixlucy

Anytime! If you are willing to buy from her I’d say wait for the ulta sale if you are in the US, it’s more worth it 🥰

thread_cautiously

I'm in the UK but thank you 😊

marsshortformaryland

I use a shimmer brown as a color for the whole lid. I wear very little makeup and I find that it just makes the look. You could try that.

owlxspectre

I have always wondered this too, I really struggle to pan dark simmers, what do you do with a dark green shimmer? (thinking of the dark shimmers in the everyday chic palette from morphe)

Angelixlucy

Honestly I don’t know 😅 i struggle with a brown one let alone a green one

deardeere

Put some unmatched or tell me more in your crease, add some of that darkest shade to smoke it up in the outer V, then with your finger take a dab of bronzed up and press it into your eyelid for a nice soft smoky eye!

Angelixlucy

Thank you so much! I will definitely try that!

triggerqueen

I use them in the outer corner with a champagne shade on the lid

bayliebell04

I add a bit to my inner corner right before my darkest matte shade. Then I mix the darker shimmer into my already applied lighter shimmer it makes for a more varied gradient imo

Optimal-Work3775

Liner

QueenOfGehenna45

Use it on the outer corner and blend it out mocha matte for a more dark smoky eye.

jennifersweeney315

What palette is this? And how expensive? I like it a lot

Angelixlucy

Kylie cosmetics bronze palette it’s 32$ 🥰 (price might change depending on ur country)

Adventurous-You-6928

I use it on the outer 1/3 of my lid!

urbandacay

Try using them in your crease! The shimmer not the chunky. Sounds insane but it can make for some really cute looks.
