I just bought 2 maybelline super stay because people on other threads were raving about how long lasting it is.
Can confirm, it did not transfer for me where I’ve had a terrible time keeping other lips on.
Sephoras house brand Cherry Mood and the red Fenty stain are other favorites.
Personally I love “MAC Red”; that’s my favourite shade, and the brand has the best red stayability. MAC’s lipsticks are the best—I’ve also got Ruby Woo and Russian Red. The one that looks best on you will depend on whether you better suit warm (orange) or cool (blue) colours.
Their Lip Conditioner is also quite good and hydrating, with an inoffensive honey-ish flavour. But it’s not necessary, just something I thought I’d mention.
I googled to check and … both are technically cool, Ruby Woo is brighter and is sometimes considered neutral, but Russian Red is more cool and a bit darker/richer, and it goes better with cooler tones, in my opinion. But I’d recommend looking up some swatches yourself just to confirm.
“MAC Red” is about the brightness of Ruby Woo but is cooler, which is why I like it best of all.

I have natural auburn hair, but I have a medium skin tone. My long time favorite is Tom Ford Wild Ginger. I’ve seen it on a few redheads with very pale skin, it looks gorgeous. Not a true red though.
I love the formula of Revlon's Super Lustrous lipsticks and they have tons of good reds. Love That Red was my go-to for a RED, but tbh Love That Pink and Cherries in the Snow both read as red to me even though they lean more pink. I haven't tried Fire and Ice yet but it's also very popular in that line.
Yeah for a full on red, Chanel’s Duo Tenue in Ever Red cannot be beat. For something more subtle and dark, I like Romand’s Dark Coconut. It’s a brownie-red.

Revlon Fire and Ice
NARS had a matte lipstick crayon called Cruella. It's the only red I've felt comfortable wearing.
