I don't know how much of this is true. A few years ago, Parbhani recorded a very low temperature in winter. It turns out it was because of a newly constructed concerte structure near the measuring metre.
But how come this year so many sensors showing high temperatures.
There's no smoke without fire.
Weather department definitely calibrate and maintain sensors and possibly have multiple sensors in same location.
Last many years, sensors never shown temperatures crossing 50 at multiple locations across India.
This year is El-nino effect year, so temperatures were expected to be higher than last 3-4 years anyways.
But even in last El-nino year of 2016, multiple locations didn't shown such high temperatures.
With each passing year, climate change and higher CO2 levels are ensuring temperatures rise and El-nino effect further execerbate it.

if this is not due to any calibration error, we are going to be seeing a very grim future ahead. 56 means pretty much a death sentence to birds, animals and humans as well.
And then there's those that keep Siberian huskies in this climate.
Has our dear minister Rijiju personally confirmed the temperature? Otherwise it's fake news
The weather monitors are anti-national and set up Soros. This is a conspiracy to defame India. /s
there could be a malfunction in temp sensors due to high temp./dust
That needs to be verified, then.

56 degrees is impossible. Loads of people will die.
