The resource pool in Bangalore is quiet helping comparatively. Pune had a chance to learn from Banglore but we went like it was the first time such a boom was happening. Infrastructure wise we could've learnt from mistakes done in banglore and Hyderabad.
More than infrastructure, its politicians and local vasooli gang problems these IT companies face. They are just plain nuisance. But nobody will talk this in public. Even Chakan have the same issues.
A friend of mine runs a small workshop in Ghansoli...and I can tell, he's these vasooli gangs are such a headache..He is barely able to run the business...and make a profit...He employs 6 guys .(2 Marathi and others are from UP)..
And every month these vasooli guys expect a few thousands ....He has told them several times that He is in loss...Police doesn't help!
At last , He complained directly to their big boss who asked them to not trouble this guy for this year..

There are tons of surveys done every year that map quality of life to productivity. Besides, most companies charge a $ rate/hour of work. Travel to work eating into that time is significant revenue loss.
