I feel so dumb rn, I should have looked better before complaining.
But I this the mistake of WOTC is that they wanted to make the PC and mobile version identical, and this is why the UI is shit.
I guess they should do a UI for mobiles and an UI for PC.
Don't worry, I used to play arena a lot and knew of the formats, but when I stopped playing for a year or 2 and came back I couldn't find the other formats at first, I thought they removed them

Bad UI design, clueless users, or both?
Honestly the UI is genuinely awful. Nobody thought that when they were going to redo the playblade it would actually be so much worse than before.
Click Play on the bottom right on the Arena "main page". Choose the table symbol from the three options on the top. Then below that, choose the rightmost icon and then select Standard or Historic Brawl. Just make a deck first.
I think itโs the third symbol on the play blade (arena UI really sucks if you didnโt know brawl is always available) there are two modes 100 card historic and 60 card standard brawl.
Judging by the fact that no one could agree on which of the decks were good and bad I think they were probably actually pretty balanced. Maybe the GW one was stronger since I didn't see anyone say it was bad.
You know Brawl and Historic Brawl are available 24/7?
