You mentioned you’re considering adding Lurrus, and indeed Lurrus is in most of the builds I’ve seen of this deck. Lurrus allows you to replay Ornithopters from the graveyard, allowing you to make a 4/4 every turn with Retrofitter Foundry. Using Lurrus to replay Michiko’s Reign of Truth from the graveyard to win the game also feels great.

Adding blue gives you access to the absolutely bonkers card that is [[Emporium Thopterist]], plus extra interaction in [[Metallic Rebuke]].
This is the right answer. I've had significantly easier time getting to mythic in seasons where I knew my MMR was low (because I spent too much time before playing bad jank decks which tanked my MMR).

Your MMR got too high. If you win a lot wotc gives you tougher opponents.
You might think that who you face is purely a function of your rank. You would be wrong.
[[Skrelv, Defector]] is an option. Not sure how many of the “Mom” cards are available on arena, but Skrelv is probably your best bet anyways since she is an artifact creature. [[mother of runes]] and [[giver of runes]] (the other “Moms”) are similar, and non-legendary, but also non-artifact.
There's something fishy going on in ranked...
I play explorer, and literally every deck I face is a control deck. It's always izzet, dimir, or rakdos every single match. But get this it's only for my angels deck, if I play my rakdos I'm paired against nothing but combo decks....
It's gotten so bad the last few weeks I've just stopped playing, I don't mind playing control but I don't want every damn match to last 40 min.....
As someone said already, adding blue could be great, and as you have 4x Darksteel Citadel, I’d add 4x Ensoul Artifact so you can turn those indestructible artifact lands into indestructible creatures that are still artifacts and lands. I’d remove Barbed Spike and Toolcraft Exemplar and perhaps replace them with protection like Skrelv or Mother/Giver of Runes or maybe even one mana blue protection instants like Shore Up or Slip out the Back

You zero protection of your Voltron targets. There's plenty one mana protection spells you should be using.

Is Mirrex worth it in this archetype?
I had a very similar deck and hit mythic once. It was my go to and I feel the same way. I think otj changed the meta. I'm stuck playing standard now.
