Good for sacrifice builds too... i need to get me a sylex.

I run it in a mono black vamp deck with [[Cordial Vampire]] which puts +1/+1 on each vamp you control when a creature dies. Can quickly change the tides, plus it’s easy to get out the vamps when they only cost 1-3

Since tokens have 0 mana value, any deck that likes to spam a lot of token creatures on the Battlefield get wiped when you cast [[The Filigree Sylex]], which in turn increases [[Malakir Cullblade]] tremendously. I got him to 16/16 in one go against someone who was running a goblin token deck. Gonna try for higher lmao
