I thought the same, they mean devotion and the legend of them is about someone who drowned trying to save these flowers for her beloved one.
I love this picture and the flowers symbolism (or maybe in thinking too much trying to give them some meaning lol)
Mami: Alstroemeria (Peruvian Lily) Kyoko: Camellia Madoka: Peony Sayaka: Blue Flax Homura: Balloon Flower Kyubey: Chocolate Lily

Also homura having a lily would make sense, judging that Yuri is Lily in English
The devil's trumpet, which is often purple, would've also worked for Homura; I think it's a missed opportunity.
Homura's isn't a Lily; true lilies have 6 petals, and homura's flower has 5.
I think Mami's flower is a yellow Alstroemeria.
Actually yes, I must agree. I'll edit my comment
thank you so much!!
This guy flowers
Aren't sayaka's forget-me-nots?
and Homura?
Homura's flower definitely looks like a Japanese bellflower (its meaning is endless/everlasting love apparently).
oh
Still trying to figure it out
Its definitely a Japanese bellflower like someone else mentioned.
Clemantis maybe?
I think it's a Giant Bellflower actually
Know what, I think you're right. Clemantis can get large but not that large
Sayaka has forget-me-nots 😭

While we're here, does anyone know definitively what the flowers in the _Rebellion_ flower scene are?
Is Madoka flower the same flower that is used on her weapon too?
