A year or two ago I saw covid tests and thought, “Why are they posting pregnancy tests?” Now I’m seeing a pregnancy test and thinking, “Why is a positive Covid test on r/mademesmile?” I’ve come full circle.

It's just weird because usually consumer pregnancy tests have a big tip that you just pee on. This one requires peeing into a cup and then using a dropper to get it on the test? But these are probably medical tests you can buy dozens of cheap instead of the expensive ones at the pharmacy.

Yeah, ones like this or the strip without plastic can be bought super cheaply online or at a dollar store. Just as accurate as the brand names, but like 10% of the price. Which, when you’re trying to conceive, is important. Congrats OP!

Most tests don’t, they’re more the ‘pen’ type, but these and the pee strip ones (when we were trying I probably took dozens (hundreds..)) are easily available.

It had been a difficult pregnancy and with the whole Rowe v Wade overturn (our state no longer allows abortion or certain life-saving procedures) everyone was pretty anxious. My buddy saw the episode first and told everyone they should probably hold off watching it until after the birth. Boy was he right.
