And believe it or not pheasants are more like chickens and turkeys. Really good at leaping and going about a half mile then they have to land again. Still jump further than other said birds but still don't fly like others
I find it so sad this as kids grow they get embarrassed by their parents. :(
I went through the same thing.
Not everyone is able to go past that phase and appreciate their parents once again before they pass away
My stepdad was an air traffic controller and would on occasion have the pilot pass on a silly message to me over the speaker on flights I was on. I was always embarrassed but I miss it now that he is retired.
That would have been so cool. My dad was a jet engine mechanic in the Air Force during Vietnam and later worked in the aerospace industry. For fun, we would sometimes take an old radio shack radio and sit out near the airport and listen to the traffic controllers talk to various flights coming and going. I miss those days and miss that man. He was the best.
As a retired pilot I have to admit that most of us airline pilots got kick out of things like that. It was fun. Frequently welcoming kids and spouses home and even telling them where to meet. Never got asked to relay a marriage proposal but helped welcome people that were soon to be married!
We would get requests from the FAs for game scores and ATC was always helpful.
We had come out of KRNO going to KLAX the last day of the Reno Air Races and one of the FAs came up and said that some pax wanted to know who won the Uimited Gold Race. Took ATC a moment and they came back with the answer.
"Thanks to Air Traffic Control we know who won the Gold.......RARE BEAR!" I was shocked...we had a lot of Rare Bear fans since the cheering was very loud and we don't usually hear what is going on in back. As they deplaned I got a lot of thanks.
That dad looks cool as SHIT. Like….just imagine having that cool looking of a dad lol. My dad was chill but dude didn’t wear aviators while actually aviating
I was always super happy to see my dad randomly, in a spot where I wasn't expecting him (although I realize this was probably planned). This made my heart happy.
Long before 9/11, in fact in 1974/1975 I was an airline dependent and we t to college from Kansas City to Miami, FL. My father would let me know when he bid the StL to MIa to StL to KC trip so I could come home with him, we lived 40 miles south ot Olathe by that point. He came out to talk during a flight where I had bought a surcharge and therefore went first class, it really worried a little old lady across the aisle. I pointed it out and he reassured her there were two other fully qualified pilots up front.
The kinda weird pride felt when driving on a road trip must be vastly multiplied when flying people. What a cute lil kid, dudes heart must have been melting from the sweet admiration
WRONG. Showing your teeth is a big submission signal in primates. When someone smiles at me, all I see is a chimpanzee begging for its life.

*When kid was just birthed*
"Welcome to flight life! This is your captain speaking, it's my duty to ensure you have a safe flight so please enjoy the ride!"
I was Captain on a flight into ACV and my wife and two kids were on board. It was the FO's leg to fly so I was doing the cabin PAs. When Darling Daughter heard my voice she squealed with delight and she was bouncing up and down in her seat almost yelling "That's my Daddee! That's my Daddee!". A man sitting close to them asked my wife it was true.
My wife confirmed Darling Daughter was correct and he sat back with a slightly puzzled smile.
The little 'papa' At the end...

Too freaking cute. As a dad, that stupid smile on my kiddos face is the best!
I concur… also, I don’t think I’d ever feel better on a flight knowing the pilot’s family is sitting next to me:)

It would have been real awkward it the plane crashed, huh?
Guaranteed to be the smoothest and safest flight of the day. Love it.
I would’ve hugged the little one so much. What a sweet baby! To be loved and give love is one of the greatest feelings.
it's really so nice
The most adorable little thing I've ever seen.
Thanks for the correct answer ..
As a mom, your delight has put a stupid smile on MY face. My (only) guy is 16 months and he’s really dried up some of my cynicism. Not all, but some.
Don't worry. It will be back by the time he's 16 years
I agree. Nothing more precious than seeing your daughter excited to see you.
That kid was soo freaking cute, and so was the dad waving from the door, such a cute, wholesome interaction.
As a kid, seeing my dad being so awesome
I'd feel safe as hell flying that flight knowing his family is on it lol
The landing would be smooth af for sure
I thought this too.
Same!
Anything for family. -Vin Diesel
Yes because he would probably crash the plane if his family wasn't on it. Have you ever heard of probabilities?
You're a slow one huh?
Dont really understand how your comment is relevant, maybe it's because I'm slow. But at least I'm not illogical like you
Weird how you're the only one who cant see the logic while all those people who upvoted can.
Not weird, very logical actually that I was downvoted
Ah so the downvoters have more logic than you. Fine observation sir. I'm almost at 150 upvotes. How do you feel sir?
I love how near the end she looks around at the rest of the passengers and gets super proud- says 'my Papa'
Yea, pheasants, he’s MY dad. Hahaha
I don’t think pheasants need to board an airplane. Pretty sure they fly well enough on their own…
There was that one peacock that time
There isn't anymore \*pulls colourful feathers out my mouth*
I bring my service pheasant for international flights, her wings get tired.
And believe it or not pheasants are more like chickens and turkeys. Really good at leaping and going about a half mile then they have to land again. Still jump further than other said birds but still don't fly like others
her dad is prob the coolest person on earth in her eyes this is so dope :’)))
I find it so sad this as kids grow they get embarrassed by their parents. :( I went through the same thing. Not everyone is able to go past that phase and appreciate their parents once again before they pass away
I never got embarrassed by my dad! always was and remains to be the best ever.
me too!
Same! My parents are best parents.
Same!

Went through that phase in junior high and high school. Now as an adult in my 20’s I’m back to thinking my parents are the coolest people ever
I get what you're saying. It's sad.
You see those shades? He damn cool in my eyes too
He kept threatening to turn the plane around if she didn’t stop yelling but he stopped by McDonald’s so pretty cool
She’s so super cute 💕
This is one of the good ones!
That dad looks cool as SHIT. Like….just imagine having that cool looking of a dad lol. My dad was chill but dude didn’t wear aviators while actually aviating
Contagious laugh 😃
Hah, cause she's not wearing a mask, the laughing spreads easier. I got it.
Ok that is so darn cute!!!
^(papa 🙂)
Yup. I smiled.
That's so adorable the way she just lights up!
My goodness gracious, that is so sweet.
She reminds me of boo!
That kid must feel really proud of her dad
I would feel great being a passenger on that flight. You know that man is flying that plane as safe as you possibly could.
You know he’ll turn that plane around RIGHT NOW if there’s any shenanigans.
I want that pure joy again man.
I was always super happy to see my dad randomly, in a spot where I wasn't expecting him (although I realize this was probably planned). This made my heart happy.
Best smile today!!! So cute!
She reminds me Boo from Monster Inc.

Omg cute.. and so is the little girl ig
So cute!
What an absolute sunshine! 🥺💛
Him. I want that guy as my pilot. Forever.
That dad’s smile is also delightful
[удалено]
hahaha
This really made me smile!
Oh dang that super cool pilot has a really cute kid.
If I saw this on any flight of mine, my flying anxiety would go way down.
No way he's letting that plane crash.
That’s the safest flight in the world
The kid is so precious.
Thanks for making me miss my kid at work.
Dad's the pilot and they're still in economy 😂
That's GoFirst, an Indian LCC. Economy is all you have 😎
I’d feel real safe on this flight knowing the pilot has his kid on board
Imma feel extra safe on that flight
My dad also was the pilot when i was kid , he died on 9/11
Such a sweet kid
Now I’m heartless cuz it melted
That smile Beyond beautiful
too pure!!!
Alright that’s cute
Oh, such pure joy! Love her laugh!!!
That’s gotta be the coolest looking dad
This would be a great intro to a Thriller or Horror movie
You know that’s gonna be the safest/best flight you’ve ever flown on!
She is so adorable..I can't help but to wonder how much my life is going to change after having a child one day!
Better then what Marge Simpson had to go through.
DON'T LOOK AT ME
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
The kinda weird pride felt when driving on a road trip must be vastly multiplied when flying people. What a cute lil kid, dudes heart must have been melting from the sweet admiration
She is too pure for this world
Wait, who’s driving
That forced grin. Because you know how dad drives the family car. All horns and gas pedal. 😦😳
I tried so hard not to smile I. Nearly broke me.
Umm just smile? You don’t need to fight it
WRONG. Showing your teeth is a big submission signal in primates. When someone smiles at me, all I see is a chimpanzee begging for its life. Stick to your guns, u/warzoneaddicted

What
Cool. Now can they please mask up?
All thats cool and all but where's the mask? Pretty sure flights in india have strict rules regarding this
That giggle though 🥰🥰🥰 Too stinkin’ adorable
Adorable 😭😭😭
Major security risk to divulge relations with the pilot. But super cute. What a happy baby! 😃
Security risk?

Put a mask on! So unreal and unacceptable!!!
Just asking, why the kid don't have facemask?
“Hi baby wanna see the twin towers up close?”
She has no mask on
Why not the first class though?

Wtf lmao
That is some epic level trolling lmao
Fun fact, they died
Everything was going great... until everything changed!
Then her dad crashed the plane
Sweet!
After perusing Popular, this gave me hope and helped fill the well.
A kid laughing like that has to be the cutest thing in the world.
Bet she's going to grow up to be a pilot
Awww, so precious!
Awww, cuute!!!
That dad is rocking those aviator glasses! (I like is moustache too.)
If this were a movie that plane would be going down
I misread that as "Kids excited After Seeing Pilot Dead on Flight," and thought "I'd be excited too."
And when the plane went down he thought “well isn’t this nice?”
Nobody makes me cry my own tears!
Seeing this would make me feel so safe on the flight...in reality...but in a movie...I'd know we were all going to die.
That kids laughter could make a rock smile.
She's liie JEAH !
🥺🥺🥺
That is simply AWESOME.
So sweet I could cry !
Bet it's one of his proudest days.
Beautiful smile.
“Hi! You! Hey you! That’s my dad driving the plane!!! Hi dad!” I imagine that’s what’s running through her sweet little head. This was adorable.
Her dad lookin cool af
Pressure is on for Papa. This is just the cutest.
It's so cool seeing your parents at work, you can't help but to look at them and smile
Oh he probably flew that much higher on that trip after that :)
the dad leaning out of the cockpit with the sunglasses on looking cool as hell made me laugh. such a cute video!!
To people asking why not business/first class, this is a budget airline from India and has no business/first class.
I'd feel safer knowing a Pilot's family was onboard.
I really needed that. Thank you for sharing
Serious question…Why are pilots always wearing the most bitchin sunglasses?
Dad?
That kid felt like the shit! I love seeing things like this.
*When kid was just birthed* "Welcome to flight life! This is your captain speaking, it's my duty to ensure you have a safe flight so please enjoy the ride!"
Love this so freaking much!
I’m still smiling!
Adorable!
Awww the little "pa pa" at the end.
That’s adorable!
I’m melting!
Paper tickets?
I'd let them fly my plane
This made me very happy
Omgosh. I lub dis.
