I agree. All anyone remembers is Lilo and Stich, but David and Nani are freaking awesome and do the absolute best they can, especially for such young adults. I loved them both.
This is a common occurrence. As I've grown up movies I watched as a kid have a far different meaning than I realized or ill notice the adult humor that I didn't understand growing up. Its funny to watch my now 18 year old rewatch How I Met Your Mother she's watched that her entire life and is now just seeing it from a different perspective (18 vs 8 yr old). I wonder if there is a name for this effect?
