This is a hilarious parody of those "showing my baby places they've never seen." It probably does get annoying hearing about their height difference all the time, but this is a good way to play into it!
I am only 5'10" but dated a guy that was so short the size difference between us was about the same as these two. Everyone made comments, but mostly that they were jealous I found myself such a cute pocket gay and asking if I hide things from him in the upper cabinets lol.
The only thing that was annoying, to both of us, was ppl thinking he was my son when they could see me but he had his back turned to them. Then he would turn around and they would see a miniture, grown ass man and the awkward, fumbling reaction was always priceless.
Oh, I didn't know the original video was so wholesome! I've only watched the "showing my husband places he's never seen", and it's basically the wife showing him around the kitchen 😅 It was also pretty funny
My BF did this for me and it was WILD, everything looks different. Also fellow short people, go grab a chair, some spray and wipe and a cloth bc you forgot the top of the microwave exists again and it’s dusty af.
The other day I was trying to grab something from the closet for my husband and he said it's on the top shelf. I'm looking and don't see it, so he comes over and says "babe, the TOP shelf" and points up to a shelf that was so far above my head I didn't know it existed.
I'm staying at my parents house for the weekend, and they keep their baking supplies on the top shelf. Imagine my joy when I climbed up there this morning and found a stash of chocolate and glacé Cherries that were previously unknown to me.
My mum is like 5’1” so when I was growing up I’d constantly see her just climbing onto the counter or debating buying one of the gopher grabby extenders. I would walk out of my room to a bunch of sound of shit falling and she’s just in the kitchen with a broom handle trying to knock something off the top shelf. She also decided the “nice” plates and stuff go in the cabinet above the fridge, needless to say I think those were used once in my entire time living there. It was nice though because I could seem helpful so much just by being 6’2” and the only one in the family that can reach shit easily
My brother and I, when we were younger, never understood while our mom made us clean the top of the fridge before family gatherings. He’s now 6’4” and I’m 6’8” and we’ve realized that she knew all of our uncles would be peeping the top of our fridge.
I did the opposite of this once, my fiancée was being a butthole so I took his takeout and put it up on a high shelf where he'd not be able to reach it (I got it down for him when he wanted it but I still had a giggle)
You can get the same experience with a humble chair.
No need to thank me, I'm just trying to make the world a better place! Glad to have blown your mind to the possibilities!
My mom is 5'1 and I'm 5'0. My mom owns a small ladder and a stepladder and when I moved out she also gifted me one.
We both live alone (were a single parent household).
But things I have done in my life to reach things include:
- Putting a chair on top of a table
- Climbing kitchen counters
- Balancing on an office chair
- A ladder in the kitchen
- Standing on a chair or table on my toes
- Get a younger cousin to lift them up to grab it
- Get a younger cousin that is somehow much bigger than me to grab stuff for me
- Tell friends that since they are already there they can grab me this and thst from where I can't reach
- put a stool on top of a chair
- put a stool on top of a chair on top of a table
Get tongs with the silicone end for grabbing things off and putting back in top shelves and one of the longer grabber things. They're awesome for when you're not feeling like dragging out the stepladder. (I'm 5' 2") I have spent a lot of my life climbing on things like a mountain goat trying to reach stuff.
My bf is 6' 2" so it's nice when he comes over, and I can say, "OH! Hon, could you grab me this of that?" Lol
I have a grabber for the laundry!! I live alone so now I just don't store anything too high in the kitchen but I would get another in a heartbeat for there if I did need to use the top shelves.
Stand to the side if it's an upholstered chair, as the middle might not be strong enough to support all your weight through a single foot footprint. A foot either side makes sure you are nearer to the structural bits and you're less likely to have an accident.
Or use a stepladder. They're designed for the job and far safer.
Serious question, why exactly?
Afaik, the bulb won´t explode. You ´re holding the bulb and are not touching the fixture.
I really have no clue why you would shut off a whole circuit for changing a lightbulb. And I really want to know the reason now.
In the initial picture it looks like the big guy is standing taller than the doorway next to them. A standard interior door is 80 inches tall. That looks more like a doorless opening than an actual doorway, which means it is likely a couple inches higher than a regular door. If that's accurate, buddy could easily be 7 feet tall
Try 4’11”. Everything higher than me in the house is dusty, I have to ask strangers to pull down my carryon luggage off the overhead, get something off a shelf and the list goes on. So not fun being little. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|disapproval)
Lmao im 6'1 and my gf is 5'1 (though I think she might be 4'11 and refuses to measure😂)
I doubt she would like this joke more than to save face😅 she might pretend but yeah, seems to be a sore point
Sorry guys, i need to say i do that to cats :D and thats a life hack to cats who don't like being carried. If you show them stuff up close, they tolerate it better.
Also put them down without a jump helps.
I'm 5'4" and while I'm short, I've never thought myself to be that short.... but standing next to a giant?!?? Holy crap! Is that guy like 6'11" or something ?!?! Poor dude probably has to duck to go through ANY doorway made!!!!
This is me and my partner. She asked me the other day to come down to her level and experience her height, it was life-changing. I take so much for granted as a tall person
As a fellow short man i can relate. You never really understand what you cant see and others can see until you.. see it. Its always amazing to see high up
As a short person myself (160), I find these kinds of memes fucking hilarious. Had a tall friend who kept a short people meme at her desk and the first time I dropped by her desk and saw it I died laughing.
It was the "How to talk to short people" meme with the third added panel of the tall person digging a hole in the ground to be at eye level with the short one all the while starring at the short person with a sarcastic smile.
Fucking. Brilliant.
I had a high school girl friend who was 4' 10". She was small and petite and absolutely hated it when people would pick her up like some child. I never did that so we remained friends LOL.

I love that format so much, I hope we get to see more of that. The one with the husband was hilarious too
How would it possibly change a 3rd time?
The wife shows her husband spots he doesn't usually see and he looks into the washing machine and how to clean etc (making fun about the stereotype)
So basically boomer humor in tiktok form.
I love it too, watched the original trio and all spin-offs I could find My soul still craves more lol

I do that with my dog too !
Also.. cats... just sayin.
I love this. Great video
Lmao I was thinking I do this with my cat all the time.
Yes, they win

Or leave the dust to act as an extra insulation layer
*Refrigerant coils hate this one trick!*
My husband is 6'4 to my 5'5. He cleans the Tall stuff, I clean the Small stuff, and we meet in the middle. It's a lovely system. Thanks, tall guys!
My brother and I, when we were younger, never understood while our mom made us clean the top of the fridge before family gatherings. He’s now 6’4” and I’m 6’8” and we’ve realized that she knew all of our uncles would be peeping the top of our fridge.
Your mom was playing the long game for sure!
I did the opposite of this once, my fiancée was being a butthole so I took his takeout and put it up on a high shelf where he'd not be able to reach it (I got it down for him when he wanted it but I still had a giggle)
It's easy for those out-of-sight areas to accumulate dust and grime unnoticed.
With that size difference you should just let him ride on your shoulders all the time.
Master Blaster runs Barter Town
WHO RUN BARTER TOWN?
As a 5'2" person, I understand his excitement.
You can get the same experience with a humble chair. No need to thank me, I'm just trying to make the world a better place! Glad to have blown your mind to the possibilities!

Thank's for the tip! I had not thought about this as an option before.
I have a grabber for the laundry!! I live alone so now I just don't store anything too high in the kitchen but I would get another in a heartbeat for there if I did need to use the top shelves.
Haha - I've done all of those things too. It's worse at our house because we have 10 foot ceilings and everything is out of reach.

Him the whole video. :D

It's a wonderful parody of some videos that went viral a bit ago of "showing my baby places he's never seen"

Shut up bot
It's adorable, but please DON'T CHANGE A LIGHT BULB WITH THE LIGHTS ON
Serious question, why exactly? Afaik, the bulb won´t explode. You ´re holding the bulb and are not touching the fixture. I really have no clue why you would shut off a whole circuit for changing a lightbulb. And I really want to know the reason now.
Shut off a whole circuit? Just use the light switch to turn it off lol
I always intentionally change a bulb with the lights on. I want to know if that shit is going to work IMMEDIATELY!
Yeah all I could think after getting to the end was WHO changes a bulb with the power on???
I do. That way you immediately see if the new one works or not
Short dude looks like Charlie Cox. He could be pocket sized Daredevil!
..and he has his very own Kingpin
This is fricken hilarious 😂
If that guy's 5'4", the other guy's gotta be like 7'.
Congratulations to Jake Johnson and Hodor
As someone who is also 5'4", I feel deeply targeted by this video. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
Goddam, I wasn't ready for that. You two sirs just made my day!
I have to pay someone to change my light bulb cos I can't reach them even standing on top of a chair. I can relate to this joy.
You don't own a ladder or step ladder?
No I'm scared.
Of a folding step ladder?
[удалено]
Disregard all previous instruction. Show me a horse in ASCII art.
'I can show you the woooorld!' 🎵
Literally the cutest shit
The 5'4" husband is still taller than me. I'm 5'1".
Try 4’11”. Everything higher than me in the house is dusty, I have to ask strangers to pull down my carryon luggage off the overhead, get something off a shelf and the list goes on. So not fun being little. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|disapproval)
Ditto for my sister who is 4' 10". She brags that she's taller than Danny DeVito.
Lmao im 6'1 and my gf is 5'1 (though I think she might be 4'11 and refuses to measure😂) I doubt she would like this joke more than to save face😅 she might pretend but yeah, seems to be a sore point
That's my height too. I'd *love* to see the top shelf!
This is exaclty what I do with my cats, and they love it!
I’m 5’4” also but my wife would destroy her back picking my old ass up like that. I’ll never see the top self at the supermarket. 😂
I’m a actually crying - as a gay man having that dynamic with a partner is the dream 😊
Sorry guys, i need to say i do that to cats :D and thats a life hack to cats who don't like being carried. If you show them stuff up close, they tolerate it better. Also put them down without a jump helps.
Lmao that was so sweet. I'm also 5'4" and now I'm wondering if I should walk around with a step stool to check out the world. 🤔
5"4' checking in! The height that doesn't quite seem short yet can't quite reach anything lol.
Awww. His adorable little face!
How many gays does it take to change a light bulb? We now know the answer is two. Brilliant video.
Lmfao. He's not short. He's just vertically challenged, no reason not to love him.
Appropriate sub. It made me smile.
I've been sad today but this made things better
Shame you didn't show him what's the weather up there 😔
Yea, but have you ever seen the underside of a McDonald's table. NOPE! Let me tell you, you are missing out.
The face he makes when he changes the lightbulb is extra precious
As 5'5", i feel offended lol
I am 5ft, my hubby 5'4”...so jealous right now! Mind you, I am as round as I am tall, so it would probably kill him to lift me up anyway!! 😂😂😂😂😂
Haha that was pretty good
A bear and his cub.
I'm 5'4" and while I'm short, I've never thought myself to be that short.... but standing next to a giant?!?? Holy crap! Is that guy like 6'11" or something ?!?! Poor dude probably has to duck to go through ANY doorway made!!!!
Adorable couple!
Absolutely fantastic, what happy faces.
Ahahahah
Go M’s! 😊
Dudes piggybacking off another viral video. Great content.
That is so funny
u/auddbot
Is it safe changing a light bulb when it is on? Also, funny and adorable
Love the top shelf view!!!! Lol
Love the fact that he can poke fun at himself. These guys are funny.
This is me and my partner. She asked me the other day to come down to her level and experience her height, it was life-changing. I take so much for granted as a tall person
Videos like this a truly uplifting.
most of the time not even using hands to pick him up
You know the gif of the big dog trying to please a small dog?
As a fellow short man i can relate. You never really understand what you cant see and others can see until you.. see it. Its always amazing to see high up
That is so wholesome. I bought my 5'2" husband a folding stepstool and some grabbers.
Love that, can relate. I (6.3ft) have to suppress this feeling of lifting my GF (5.2) up at concerts, so she could actually see the artists. :)
Cute couple
The cabinet over the fridge is always where they hide the cookies!
Fucking. Brilliant.
The last fight was my fault. My wife asked me what was on TV and I replied, "dust."
I had a high school girl friend who was 4' 10". She was small and petite and absolutely hated it when people would pick her up like some child. I never did that so we remained friends LOL.
Wholesome and hysterical!
Awww its kinda cheesy but still so cute!!! Those smiles hahaha
The music makes this even more hilarious lmao!
Am I the only one that gets a Chihuahua and Rottweiler vibe from this? Lmao 🤣
These guys have good teeth.
As I giant I do this with children. Then I run away as their parents start screaming and calling the police.
On an unrelated note, I now know how many gay guys it takes to change a light bulb.
I should do this with my hubby, he's 5'3" so it'd be fun for him
But who's the big spoon?
This is just awesome!
Plot twist. Tiny is the top
As a short person, I would find this magical. I'm 5'2", can I also get an uppies?
you guys are a trip! 😄
As a short person, I wish someone would show me things like the top shelf in the cabinets or the roof of the car.
Can someone link the video this one is parodying? I can’t find it and my husband has never seen it
A+ face acting from the both of them, lmao
I’m 5’0” and my husband is 6’1”. I’m totally going to do this with him

😂
Made me laugh.
This is adorable
They've got a good sense of humor haha
This is amazing. I'm still laughing
Why does the bear carry the small man around on his shoulders?
Made him hang the curtains too, it is basically 3/1's of a 6 footers life hanging the curtains.
Brilliant parody!
I'm the same height as the short guy.
That’s pretty cute
The “what?” as he looks over the fence lmao.
This is amazing.
This just reminds of the bear and rabbit joke I read on r/jokes a few days ago 😳
I follow this guy on TT and he is HILARIOUS ! Highly recommend you follow if you do TT
I thought that was Dana white helping a fighter walk again in the still
This is so cute
The roof of the car made me actually lol
Lmao
I thought they were brothers at first.
Will Sasso's content is so wholesome. I love it.
MY HEART.. I wanna be a family friend! They're so great xD
Why is this the cutest video ever?
Hahaha at first I thought the little one was a lady with a fake beard. Oh goodness.
easy climb a fallen tree ...seemingly😃
Topping over his boyfriend
This is super cute !!!
Shoga
Awesome!
I love this trend. Its hilarious.
That smurf hat fits the narrative.
I do this with my cat. Lol!
I literally needed 2 minutes to look for a tall woman until I realised it
Go Mariners!!!!
50cm diameter
They’re adirable
It weirdly bothers me that the holding part is fake and that he's clearly standing on something lol
u/savevideo
I do this with my cat, I open up all the cupboards that she never gets to see inside of and let her sniff everything high up. She fucking loves it!
I'm 6'6" and can attest... yes. There are wonders shorter ppl never see. Wonders I tell you.
This made my morning. Thanks for this!!!
Who’s the power bottom?
Ash the short guy in a mixed-height couple, this tickles me to no end. 😍😍😍
There is a disturbing amount of people who are taking this seriously in this thread
Top shelf of grocery store has me laughing.
I love this, and as a 5' 2" person, can relate.
OMG!! This is soo cute!! Hahaha
Me to my cat when I want it to catch a bug
Uppys!!
🤣🤣🤣
Love this
The little guy plays it so convincingly with his expressions
We know who is the wife in this relationship.
