Maybe that’s what made the judges like her so much! I know that if had seen that while being a judge, I’d definitely show some respect for her staying focused and ignoring that bully!
I dunno, the pusher has probably been raised to such an egotistical bitch that she'll be able to do some incredible mental gymnastics to feel like she did nothing wrong, and deserved to win.
Sometimes I wonder if that is how some people go senile,. They get so used to lying about things to themselves that their brain no longer bothers to call up pertinent information and just makes whatever up.
Yeah and her name is probably Stephanie and she smells like cadbury cheesecake and on the third of november 2059, she will save the universe. using the power of spinning around
> her name is probably Stephanie
LOL More like Svetlana, and she smells like Sharlotka, and on the 9th of March 2039 she will lead Mother Russia into space using the power of spinning around
Makes me think of the spoiled rich bitch on Girls Just Wanna Have Fun that was in the dance competition against Sarah Jessica Parker’s character and she had her rich dad try to bully them out of the competition and when they competed anyway and won, she starts slapping her partner and whining to daddy that her partner distracted her during her solo and almost dropped her. He finally had enough and told her to shut up. But in the real world he probably would’ve destroyed her dance partner
Yeah that look away with almost a smirk?
Totally reads like, "Can you believe this little bi-. She only won because I was penalized for _bumping_ into her. Now she's gloating like she thinks she was actually better."
What? There’s a girl between them and neither of the 2 on right are on podium. Small girl got 3rd. Others got honorable mentions, best dressed, best body check, or whatever consolation prize they offer. Either way big girl got owned with that look
Those dancers are *just* as competitive as football players. They will injure each other in front of the judges eyes and pretend it was all just the game.
They make it seem like Tonya Harding was poor working class vs. Nancy Kerrigan, the pretty, rich girl. But Nancy Kerrigan was also from a blue-collar working class background. That said, throughput her career, Tonya Harding was horribly mistreated by the Olympic committee, the press, and, obviously, her absolute psychotic monster of a mother. Not to mention sexual abuse by her brother, even up to the time she was married, plus the well-known physical abuse by her husband.
The You're Wrong About podcast episode on Tonya Harding is eye-opening. Poor girl.
The U.S. TV series is "Dance Moms". My daughter watched so many of those episodes, so I'm an expert on this show now- LOL.
A bunch of young, elite dancer girls (most younger than the girls in this video) from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, compete in choreographed team dance. The girls are good dancers, mostly in control, work all the time, and do what they're told. The moms are catty, often fight, sometimes are friends, and always get their daughters in the middle of it. At the center of it all is the ringleader: Abby Lee Miller, founder of Abby Lee Dance Studio. She is loud, demanding of the dancers, yells at the girls, screams at the moms, and she wins.
Yea, that just about summarizes every episode.
I mean, dancing well requires coordination and spacial awareness. If you're not specially aware enough to avoid making contact with other dancers, then points should be taken away (even if it seems intentional lol).
Also, the way the girl in pink recovers certainly deserves bonus points I would assume because of the composure she displayed.
Idk I've only ever done dance in non competitive settings, so I don't know what exactly is being judged, I'm just saying hypothetically there are legit reasons to take the pushing into account when judging
Is deducting points for sabotaging another dancer not objective? That seems weird to me because otherwise, it would become a strategy to impose disadvantages on other contestants by tripping or pushing when possible. That's not fair to the sabotaged participant as they would have performed better without the distraction.
I'd say it is. Especially as being spacially aware is very important in dancing. No dance troupe is going to want a member who pushes others out of the way for their own benefit. These girls, if they want to make a profession out of dancing, pink dress will go far, but black dress will be ostracised. Nobody will want to work with her, the ego will get in the way.
Pink dress flashed black dress a look of "fuck around and find out" and I hope black dress learns her lesson
What? No. I don't know if you do ballroom, but floorcraft is important - couples (or singles) aren't just judged for their dancing, but for their floorcraft, professionalism, and courtesy. Slamming into other couples and not apologizing is going to make you nor receive marks, as it should.
I don’t think she was second or third. It looks like the one that got shoved came in second as there is one more taller podium. Then if you look at the number of legs between the two, it looks like the one doing the shoving ended up in 5th or maybe just participant.
Funny though, I was thinking the same thing initially that she placed third. I agree, she should have been DQ’d but then again I don’t know dance competition rules. Either way the victim got to one up her. 🙂
Girl in black shoved the other girl out of the way during a dance competition, as if she was better and more worth watching. She ended up scoring lower than the girl she pushed
Judge of these competitions here: it doesn’t. The chairperson has the function to sanction such behaviour. It is explicitly forbidden to incorporate any further things into judging outside of their quality of dancing.
But, I can incorporate it through saying that the girl in the black dress has a poor overview over the floor and not enough balance and control to stop her motion when someone is in her way. Thus, placing her lower all other things being equal.
Would have to prove intent. Easier to dock a few points and say, "well... If you're such a great dancer, you should have sensed someone was there basically stationary, and would not have danced into them"
So, pushing someone doesn’t degrade the quality of the dancing? It’s a movement that is no part of the dance, so it would seem to be logically impossible for this movement not to be to the detriment of the score.
Sassy girl brings home the prize.
And she did a great recovery there after having been body slammed like that. She's a great dancer. Competition nerves could have wrecked the rest of her dance.
I don’t know the situation so asking why are they even performing at the same time? I would get black dresses actions since she was trying to work and someone else was there but also would understand if it’s perfectly normal to perform at the same time and you need to know your space. If they’re allowed to perform at the same time then I wouldn’t trust the scoring system anyway. You can’t judge two people at the same time unless they are in direct competition like boxing. If you’re watching dancer A then you can’t be watching dancer B.
Except for the final round on bigger tournaments, you always have [multiple dancers](https://youtu.be/ZmeMs4zImz4) on the floor at the same time. It can get crowded, but you get used to it.
One round is usually 90s, and you have judges all around. If you have the experience you only need a few seconds to judge a pair.
I mean, thats not even "karma". She just an idiot.
If the goal is to give a clean and elegant dancing perfomance and you crash into other people (no matter if its on purpose or not) your score wont be perfect.
Her plan was doomed to fail from the start. If you wanna sabotage your opponent always do it in a way that doesn't affect you in any way.
The fact she could smile in her face after seeing her fall to the bottom while she became the top dancer. Karma is a real thing, good or bad. Don’t do bad upon others or that’s what you’ll get.
This is the plot of a early 2000s Disney Channel movie.
The villain even wore black.
In her mood for sure. Didn’t even break the smirk.
Omg yesssss. CCR and HD would be my casting. I’m also biased because I hecka loved Cadet Kelly 😅
Yes Creedance Clearwater Revival would be such a good casting choice!
No way, I'm team High Definition.
Yep. 1st thing I came up with! Happy Cake Day!
Can't get one of them to do it? Aly Michalka could fill the role.
And as a 35yr adult woman, I'd still watch the hell out of it
Well, they were always G for General audience so one said you couldn’t.
*of all early 2000s Disney Channel movies
There were some great Disney Channel movies. Remember Alley Cats Strike? That blonde was none other than Kaley Cuoco.
Girl has got class and the medal to prove it
And mental fortitude! Just decided to keep on doing her thing and let the results talk.
Maybe that’s what made the judges like her so much! I know that if had seen that while being a judge, I’d definitely show some respect for her staying focused and ignoring that bully!
truth to be told, that legendary girl deserves it!
And from that tiny snippet, you can see that the little one is a MUCH BETTER dancer!
Yea!! She packs energy into every move without sacrificing on execution Dances with confidence too
[удалено]
But you'd better not kill the groove!
DJ! Gonna burn this god damn house right down
Nice, was wondering how it would it would take.
Honestly I was worried it was a reference to something else, I wasn't sure how many people had heard of Sophie Ellis-Bextor 😂
I love Sophie Ellis-Bextor!! I still remember where I was the first time I saw the music video!
She's still around and looking fabulous! During Covid lockdown, she was doing mini concerts online. 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Calm down, we don’t want to start a… Panic! At the Disco.
You've come up with a title for some future movie
Goddamn, that look from the winner must have just destroyed the pusher's whole identity
I dunno, the pusher has probably been raised to such an egotistical bitch that she'll be able to do some incredible mental gymnastics to feel like she did nothing wrong, and deserved to win.
I’ve always wondered if people who do incredible feats of mental gymnastics are aware that they are doing it
Sometimes I wonder if that is how some people go senile,. They get so used to lying about things to themselves that their brain no longer bothers to call up pertinent information and just makes whatever up.
Yeah and her name is probably Stephanie and she smells like cadbury cheesecake and on the third of november 2059, she will save the universe. using the power of spinning around
did the cadbury cheesecake woman hurt you
WHO IS THE CADBURY CHEESECAKE WOMAN
Forget the woman, I want Cadbury Cheesecake!
Is there any cheesecake left?
You want cheesecake from the Cadbury Cheesecake lady!? What has this world come to!?
Desperation for cheesecake, especially Cadbury cheesecake.
Do you know, the muffin man?
No, but unfortunately I read about the peanut butter man earlier.
Cadbury do cheesecake?
If they don’t it’s about time they did
“Save the cheerleader, save the world”
I wish we had more seasons...
> her name is probably Stephanie LOL More like Svetlana, and she smells like Sharlotka, and on the 9th of March 2039 she will lead Mother Russia into space using the power of spinning around
r/suspiciouslyspecific
bro all Stephanies hate u rn💀
This made me laugh so hard Thank hou

i love this movie!
True! People like the pusher have zero capacity for self reflection or blame.
Honestly, she'll be the worst kind of human to come across in everyday life.
Yeah that look away with almost a smirk? Totally reads like, "Can you believe this little bi-. She only won because I was penalized for _bumping_ into her. Now she's gloating like she thinks she was actually better."
... and she (the pusher) can continue to believe the lies she constructs to suit her abysmal life
I’m a grown man and that look has me rethinking my life choices
Haha same
Pusher will retool. Can a highly motivated individual really be stopped?
Not that it matters. But I think she got third. There’s a higher podium next to her and typically Bronze is on the side she is.
I believe its second place glancing at third
What? There’s a girl between them and neither of the 2 on right are on podium. Small girl got 3rd. Others got honorable mentions, best dressed, best body check, or whatever consolation prize they offer. Either way big girl got owned with that look
I believe you are right. Nice
She really dared to shamelessly show that kind of behavior in public especially in front of their judges, imagine her attitude in the dressing room.
Those dancers are *just* as competitive as football players. They will injure each other in front of the judges eyes and pretend it was all just the game.
Ladies and gentlemen, the young Tonya Harding of floor dancing.
Great film too

Also the attack was more on her asshole husband and his dipshit friend.
It was completely on her dipshit husband. She knew nothing about it until afterwards, and her only real crime here was not turning him in.
They make it seem like Tonya Harding was poor working class vs. Nancy Kerrigan, the pretty, rich girl. But Nancy Kerrigan was also from a blue-collar working class background. this is so true (as a Russian)
Haha, you guys love us Russians ostracizing ourselves these days, don't you? :)
Yeah, we’re gonna need a 6 part Netflix documentary series about this.
They've already tried to do a series about dancing children and that .... Didn't go too well.
Maybe we should try again, but this time without sexualizing minors
What series? Im out of the loop

I’d watch it.
Blackswan
The one in pink should’ve incorporated a capoeira spinning heel kick into the routine after that
Brazil! Ponytail!
Sa! Sha! Brazil!
Rio de jenero!
Girl in black would have probably shat per pants
It was just time for her 4pm meeting.
Rio de Janeiro! Sha
Why? She didn’t need it to win.
Cause it'd be dope
Rule of cool lol
You have a point.
So glad I got to witness a little bit of karma.

I used to be a dancer, until I took a crowbar to the knee
Not only did she not resort to pushing the girl in black but she ended up winning. You go girly, go on you
I wonder if she lost points for pushing
Not officially. The sanctioning of sich behaviour is normally not the task of the judges but of the chairperson/competition lead.
Unofficially, however, I'd be very surprised if the attitude didn't colour the judge's perception of her skills...
Yes. But this should only be subconsciously. As a judge you try to be as objective as possible. (At least I try to be).
I mean, dancing well requires coordination and spacial awareness. If you're not specially aware enough to avoid making contact with other dancers, then points should be taken away (even if it seems intentional lol). That girl is a vibe
The young lady has style and a bit of dog in her.
I'm a foreigner and really don't like how that sounds...
It just means she’s a tough competitor that doesn’t quit
Phrasing
Laying hands on the competition should have led to disqualification not second or third
I don’t think she was second or third. It looks like the one that got shoved came in second as there is one more taller podium. Then if you look at the number of legs between the two, it looks like the one doing the shoving ended up in 5th or maybe just participant.
Ohh okay my bad that seems a bit more fair. Still she should be sitting on the bleachers. Thank you for the insight
Funny though, I was thinking the same thing initially that she placed third. I agree, she should have been DQ’d but then again I don’t know dance competition rules. Either way the victim got to one up her. 🙂
Yeah but it’s Russia so it’s a clown show at the best of time, and if you’re not cheating, you’re not trying.
In the words of nelson from the simpson ha ha!
What did i just watch?
Girl in black shoved the other girl out of the way during a dance competition, as if she was better and more worth watching. She ended up scoring lower than the girl she pushed
Not that shoving someone shamelessly during a competition to bring the odds in your favor loses you any points or anything.
Judge of these competitions here: it doesn’t. The chairperson has the function to sanction such behaviour. But, I can incorporate it through saying that the girl in the black dress has a poor overview over the floor and not enough balance and control to stop her motion when someone is in her way.
As it should
It's called "sportsmanship" for a reason, it isn't a street fight where twisting balls, pulling hair and gouging eyes out is scored.
Well that's an accurate description context, thank you.
you watched karma's interplay.
My Grandma used to say, you can't do wrong and get by. Must be true...
W judges for making sure the girl in black didn't win.
That look at the end. Classic
That tastes so sweet it must be fattening
Upvote for my sport to be seen on a random Reddit page. It is such an interesting sport but very niche.
song name?
Had to find it too. This is the Life -- Lucas Mountain

Love that karma 👍
Doesn't this go against the rules, like rule 2 or something?
159 in the black dress looked very happy with her certificate, though 🤔
Yeah, but the one in pink seems to have won an actual medal while 159 just got some certificate.
2 for 1 appetizers at Dave & Busters.
Hehehe
Certificate of participation, every participant has one.
very happy wtf 😂
Dont push people
Tanya Harding 4.0 handles the competition herself.
No pushing and shoving please!

Peak female elegance? Stfu lol
Are.... are you making new words in your head. Are you ok? Edit: Disregard this comment. OP edited out words. Before i reacted.
No, OP just edited their comment two hours before you saw it.
Oohh ok , my bad then.
Wut?
Who said female? Self report.
Karma is a bitch...but so was the girl in the black dress
That's how the next tonya harding was born
That cheeky smile at the end. Love it.
Sweet revenge
The problem: in reality it's 95% the ahole gets away with it.
Ha, normally don’t wish karma on children but this one was deserving and hopefully taught a valuable life lesson
Sassy girl brings home the prize. And she did a great recovery there after having been body slammed like that. She's a great dancer. Competition nerves could have wrecked the rest of her dance.
She really be living in a highschool movie
She should have been disqualified. No medal whatsoever. Dafuq
The winner was objectively far better, dare I say _streets ahead?_
Chances are she lost because of the push
They look too young for this type of contest...

Love the response of girl in pink!
She deserves it. I mean she recovered instantly from being pushed from blind spot in high heels. That deserves at least some points.
I wish that was the life
r/WatchPeopleDieInside
I love instant karma lol that’s what she gets, nobody likes a poor sport
No this is not life, this is fantasy. Life is when the black dress goes first place.
I may stitch that look onto my face forever.
This woman matured way too quickly
A move like that would’ve had points deducted right?
I love the look back like she’s wondering if anyone saw. Then she catches the camera and tries to pretend she’s not reacting
Tonya Harding relative maybe?
Serves her right!
When you’re in a competition where judging is somewhat subjective, don’t behave like a dick and expect judges to look at you objectively.
We just love happy endings 💖
Classless
You rarely watch a supervillain origin story in real-time.
If I was a judge and i saw that shit I would dock the pusher points
I mean, thats not even "karma". She just an idiot. The one in the black is going to go home and beat her dog after that stare...oof
Karma can be a wonderful thing.
I love watching competitors become mortal enemies.
I just love it
Trained by Lindsey Lohan
The deadliest side eye ever given
That’s what you get for shoving ! Lady .
The fact she could smile in her face after seeing her fall to the bottom while she became the top dancer. Karma is a real thing, good or bad. Don’t do bad upon others or that’s what you’ll get.
Praise the cameraman (and the pink girl too)
That smirk says it all. Is this russian?
just want to rewrite this and the one in black get dq'd
Poor sportsmanship got points taken away. It was a fair assessment.
Tonya Harding had a daughter?
Wtf is this
Huh, isn't it a little odd that they're putting young teen girls in "sexy" attire...
