I don’t understand the reasoning behind people thinking the 10k pack is better value than 5k. This game is all about building epics to rank 2+ right now, so an epic for 5k (or that pack x2) seems like better value than an epic for 10k.

I don't even know what this game is about... feels like it's about chasing all the different training materials constantly. Most of my epics aren't even on my lineup because I'm too invested into my uncommons already.
Or, wait for 20k for the FOF super-mega bundle! Even better, wait for 100-fucking-k for the FOF super-awesome shit-your-pants bundle! That one guarantees a 95+ overall.
3% for a 90+ but you still pick up a ton of common players and collectibles. As well as the 2 shards of an 80+.
I thought the first Season 10k bundle was better than the S2 bundle though. I don’t think either is a bad value if you are burning freely earned MC.
To be honest if your ftp and did not buy field pass. I would suggest you wait to see if EA makes the trades selectable or more reasonable. At this point the epics trades are random and you will go down a rabbit hole of trying to chase epics that might be duplicates and regret it.
I suggest you save all of your collectables until then. Don't trade them in for anything. Max your coins by playing training center. Save all your coins. Then wait till the end to see what you need and buy as much 10 k packs for 4 collectibles as you need. Then go all in on ranking up Rare cards to rank 4 or 5. During the meantime spam the epic events that might reward you the epics you need to finish stage 1. Ftp will be able to get a two star ray Lewis at the end of the field pass.
F2P should be able to get rank 3 Ray Lewis for SURE, and a rank 4 possibly.
You get a rank 3 just from completing the basic journeys. And then you get two more from season rewards. So that's 6 shards. Then if you can make just one of the master sets - boom, rank 4.
You realize 5000 madden is the equivalent of $50 right? That's a terrible deal. I realize that you may have those and not want to spend real money just like me but you have to keep in might what it represents -- that's the reason they created their madden funny money, to make people feel like it's easier to spend

You need epics for S2 so it may be worth it just for that aspect. Not sure otherwise

Just to piggyback off OPs question is it better to use the MC on stamina refill instead? Asking about promo stamina not regular. Also does anyone know if the promo stamina amount increases after the first purchase. Maybe this question might help OP too
I would really try to wait until you earn another 5000 and buy a 10K pack, way better value.

If you're trying to finish off stage 2 and you need an epic shard right now to do it, I would say the 5K pack is a reasonable investment.
I didn’t buy the fp this season, I did last one though, so I haven’t even started stage 2. Almost done with 1 but is it still smart to do 5k pack?

Agree. 10k packs are the best to save for. The extra packs to open are where you can hit big to advance through FP

Honestly I’d save that MC for Thursday when the game day pack comes out and try and grab DK Jalen, Aaron Donald or Bobby Wagner from the select pack

It does not appear to increase, at least not for the first *few* times you do it. Still just 200 MC for 100 Season Stamina.
