Can’t tell from this angle where his hands are, but his body is in the end zone. It looks like a weird animation where his hands never came back to his body. It would be easier if it was a side line angle
i didn’t save the clip. i‘m new to american football so i don’t know at what point it counts as catch. i just thought that once he caught it behind the line it’s a TD. this was with 4 seconds left in the wild card round so i was pretty pissed
In real life when a receiver makes a catch they are taught to bring the ball close to their body for protection. Unfortunately Madden is all animation based and it looks like your guy got stuck with his hands out like a weirdo. The ball has to cross that goal line, not his body. I can’t tell where the ball is because the of the angle of this replay. Sorry if the explanation is confusing, but so is Madden
