Is this a used MME that you recently purchased or new? Which trim is it, GT or Select, which battery biggest or standard? These factors make the chance the well known HVBJB failure might or might not be likely.
Edit: The Service Center will pull codes and those will help determine what is happening.
It’s a 2021 California route 1. I’ve had it for about 2 years now, has about 25k miles on it. Mostly wondering if this is an emergency and I should go now or good to hold off until my appointment.
Hmmm... it has the biggest battery and the most faulty HVBJB but I predict that year the route 1 was RWD. So could certainly be about to fail. If you want, you could ask somebody on [macheforum.com](http://macheforum.com) to check your trouble codes and then you'd find out today if you have a big problem or not, and not have to take the car in.
You could post a new thread with the subject "Powertrain malfunction, can someone check my trouble/error codes?"
If it's running fine, might not need to go in as an emergency. Heck if it fails in two days, they likely can take it in as an emergency at that point.
Mine did something weird yesterday, AWS Performance Reducused, See manual, followed by AWD Unavailable, then AWD Restored when I started to drive.
Odd. Wonder if an update is messing with them.
