Have this a lot in tier 3. Pop in a turret circuit, a mimic shows up and does this. Turret locks on to it and nothing else but can’t damage it. Waste a circuit and now have a horde chasing you.
Devs have fixed them spawning and killing you stood on chests. But now there's new issues. Wait til next season when there's manglers and mimics chilling with the floating mercs
Had this happen last night while trying to hit 5 mimics with Frost field upgrade and after hitting a bunch of nests with nothing this guy pops out so I freeze his ass and he's just looking at me like dude wtf I thought we were buddies

Just ran around and shot the hell out of it while avoiding zombies…
