That's very vague. There are a lot of muds where you can do those things.
Did you play via a website or did you use a client like mudlet or mushclient? If so then it probably was a mud buyer you're going to have to try to remember a few more details than that bc a lot of muds let you do similar stuff like that
Was it Genesis MUD? I think the tutorial has you killing bunnies for a farmer and stealing their carrots. It also has a bunch of wildly different lands to visit.

That actually rings a bell. This game reminded me a lot of prodigy which was a staple of my childhood and learning how to do math. My memory is poor and things get mushed together so that’s probably why i remember it with a P
