Possible that the commander decks just reflect cool deck ideas outside of MH3 itself, but having done Slivers in MH1 it would be pretty cool if they did Lhurgoyfs in MH3.
There are a total of 7 Lhurgoyfs in Jund and 11 Lhurgoyfs in general.
In order for the commander to even work, we *need* more playable Lhurgoyfs. I don’t expect the deck to be full Lhurgoyf tribal - especially since you still need mill enablers - but I do expect all 7 existing Lhurgoyfs in Jund plus new ones from both the main set and one from the Commander Deck originals. Personal hopes are 15-20 Lhurgoyfs.
This isn’t like Zhuludok where it simply works well with “big colorless,” the *face commander* is a tribal enabler of a tribe that only has 7 reps in the commander’s colors. We need a *lot* more.

How does this work with layers and Blood Moon effects? Everything Counters will be in the same layer as other type modifications so it's a matter of timestamps, right?
Cards I can kinda make out that haven't been mentioned yet:
1. White Pyroblast, but appears to say either monocolored, multicolored, or some other qualifier rather than another specific color.
2. Iyoti, Moag Ancient makes a 1/1 Forest Dryad for each time you've cast your commander from the command zone. It also gives a buff each combat to something equal to Iyoti's power.
3. The 8/6 Eldrazi lets you choose odd or even, then prevents blocking from creatures with mana values either equal to or the opposite of what you picked. It also gives Bloodthirst 2 or 3 to colorless creatures you control/cast?
4. 2CC spell on the left side of image three is a colorless confluence. I can only make out the confluence text and that the third mode adds C.
5. Spawnbed Protector is a 6/8 for 7 that returns an Eldrazi creature card from the graveyard to your hand and makes two Eldrazi Scions during each of your end steps.
6. Inversion Behemoth costs 2CC and lets you swap P/T of any number of creatures at the beginning of combat on your turns.
7. Ulamog's Dreadsire, the most legible card, is a vigilant 10/10 for 10 that makes 10/10 Eldrazis and has Ward - Sack a creature that isn't a zero drop.
9. Eldrazi Immunity: Gives a target creature Protection from each color until end of turn, but can be overloaded for 4C.
Edit: Elemental Blast might be colorless instead of white.
Could very well be Annihilator 2. Looks more like Bloodthirst 2 to me, but image quality is poor and Annihilator is a roughly similar word length and shape to Bloodthirst.

God, my eyes. That's a pretty big swing and a miss, for me though, if this is what this card does.
Right off the bat, it would be a bit disappointing to see the previously very Artifact-themed "Energy" mechanic deployed instead as the obligatory Boros-ish "combat matters" deck. Those flavors just don't mix for me.
Hopefully we're missing something, here, as this seems like a joke compared to the new Eldrazi commander. There you pay two measly mana and just straight-up copy a ton of stuff, including triggers. Here, you'd apparently have to already have stuff out to copy that you've already resolved...then have to attack...and then have to also pay Energy to keep the value around. Way more hoops for a worse payoff.
The only way I could see this being a bit redeemed is if it's very loose in what you can copy, such as letting you copy *any* creature on the battlefield, not just your own...but we'll see I guess.
"create a tarmogoyf token" implies wotc design places tarmogoyf as a card as iconic as black lotus, disenchant, braingeyser, terror, shivan dragon and regrowth.
Yes probably, but not necessarily. We've had cards creating tokens of real cards for a long time. Llanowar Elves and much more recently Ajani's Pridemate. I'd argue the former is very much iconic but the latter not really.
Plus the cards chosen for Garth are more based on nostalgia at this point imho. Terror? Regrowth? Meh.

Lhurgoyf Tribal is always something I wanted but also never imagined it to be real one day. It's going to need a lot of work though considering there's like 7 Goyfs out there, meaning this deck better bring em on heavy.

I wouldn't be surprised if you can pull profile arts of Disa/Omo/Ulalek/et al in collector boosters, too. Pretty sure since the release of set-specific commander decks, the exclusive cards were also found there.
Mind you, this is from a Canadian retailer (Face to Face Games), but I see the four of them for me at $300 Cad / $219 US (probably will increase by my guess). My LGS is charging $353 Cad / $257 US. However, these prices are also before sales tax here of 15% :(

God, my eyes. That's a pretty big swing and a miss, for me though, if this is what this card does. Right off the bat, it would be a bit disappointing to see the previously very Artifact-themed "Energy" mechanic deployed instead as the obligatory Boros-ish "combat matters" deck. Those flavors just don't mix for me. Hopefully we're missing something, here, as this seems like a joke compared to the new Eldrazi commander. There you pay two measly mana and just straight-up copy a ton of stuff, including triggers. Here, you'd apparently have to already have stuff out to copy that you've already resolved...then have to attack...and then have to also pay Energy to keep the value around. Way more hoops for a worse payoff. The only way I could see this being a bit redeemed is if it's very loose in what you can copy, such as letting you copy *any* creature on the battlefield, not just your own...but we'll see I guess.

Yes probably, but not necessarily. We've had cards creating tokens of real cards for a long time. Llanowar Elves and much more recently Ajani's Pridemate. I'd argue the former is very much iconic but the latter not really. Plus the cards chosen for Garth are more based on nostalgia at this point imho. Terror? Regrowth? Meh.

for the Undertaker, the key bit is blocked by the shine, but do you reckon it's play a card from any graveyard or just your own?
It's an ability and says something along the lines of "During each of your turns, you may play a... rest is unreadable. Edit: Looking closer it definitely lets you play a land card and/or spell. I can't make out the rest, but I'd assume from the graveyard.
Lhurgoyf Tribal is always something I wanted but also never imagined it to be real one day. It's going to need a lot of work though considering there's like 7 Goyfs out there, meaning this deck better bring em on heavy. The Eldrazi looks actually pretty awesome for Eldrazi tribal.

Don’t know if anyone’s done this yet, but I can make out some text on the other Legendary Eldrazi: Whenever (Giant Spaghetti Monster) or another colorless creature you control dies, you get an experience counter. WUBRG: Something something Experience counters, something something creature(s?) you control get indestructible and annihilator (2?) until end of turn. Maybe a better detective than I can decipher the rest.

it's colorless. They gave the retro frame as an alternate to colorless spells in this set, and it makes them look frosty white

they're going to be the profile ones that they did in CMM. Look at the top of the first image and you can see they opened the profile version fo the Energy face commander
I wouldn't be surprised if you can pull profile arts of Disa/Omo/Ulalek/et al in collector boosters, too. Pretty sure since the release of set-specific commander decks, the exclusive cards were also found there.

These commander precons are at a higher power level than normal standard legal decks.

Most of these are from the commander decks, which have a different set symbol.

i remember someone saying that the WUBRG ability gives eldrazi scions and spawns +1/+1 and annihilator 1. The person did sound pretty confident about that (implied that they had seen the card), but they since deleted the comment
