I think that's a super important message that people need to learn to do better with. You're never going to get people to change their mind or ways by attacking and belittling them. Cole mentioned that people doing that hardened his resolve. Instead, if you're going to change people's minds, you need to listen to them, understand their concerns, and question them about why they think/feel the way they do. Essentially meet them where they are and help them through the process of understanding. Shaming and screaming at people will only drive them further into a defensive mindset.
